사질토지반에서 그룹 마이크로파일의 설치조건에 따른 인발거동특성 (Uplift Behavior of Group Micropile according to Embedded Pile Condition in Sand)

  • 마이크로파일은 직경 300mm 이하의 소규모 말뚝기초형식으로, 기초구조물의 보강을 위해 널리 적용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 일련의 인발재하시험을 통하여 그룹 마이크로파일의 설치조건에 대한 영향을 조사하였다. 본 연구를 위하여, 다양한 설치간격과 설치각도로 설치된 그룹 마이크로파일을 이용한 인발재하시험을 수행하였으며, 실험결과를 통해 인발지지력 증가특성과 인발변위 감소특성을 조사하였다. 인발저항력은 주로 마이크로파일의 설치각도에 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났으며, 인발저항력의 증가는 설치각도 15도, 30도, 45도에서 각각 33%, 59%, 5%가 증가되는 것으로 나타났다. 설치간격에 따른 인발변위의 감소량은 더 좁은 설치간격조건에서 크게 나타났으며, 동일한 설치간격조건에서의 설치각도에 따른 인발변위 저감율은 설치각도 15도, 30도, 45도에서 각각 50%, 53%, -45%가 되는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 가스터빈 회전익이나 고정익 에어포일이 지닌 3 차원 곡면형상의 복잡성은 제조산업뿐만 아니라 재생정비 공정조차 어렵게 만드는 요인이다. CNC 기반기술을 이용한 공작기계와 공정 관련 프로그램들은 1990 년대부터 발달하기 시작한 컴퓨터 기술 덕분에 급속히 개발되면서 가스터빈 분야로 그 응용범위를 넓혀 나가고 있다. 특히 적응형 기능을 겸비한 5 축 동기 제어형 생산장비들은 유연한 공정능력과 손실된 부위의 형상 정보를 결정하는데 탁월한 성능을 보이고 있다. 8 축 동기제어가 가능하도록 구비된 로봇형 공정시스템은 매우 강력한 공정절차 표준화를 이룰 수 있게 할 뿐만 아니라 높은 생산성도 가져다 준다. 이 논문에서는 가스터빈 산업에서 CNC 기반기술의 응용현황을 검토하고, 부품 제조산업과 재생정비 산업의 공정비교와 개발사례를 통해 향후 전망을 제시한다.

순환적 최적우선탐색을 이용한 배전계통의 정전복구 (Service Restoration In Distribution Networks Using Cyclic Best-First Search)

  • 정전복구 문제는 배전계통에서 고장이 발생한 겨우 사고 구간 이후의 비 고장 정전구간내의 부하를 적절한 스위칭을 통하여 인접된 건전피더로 빠른 시간 내에 절체 시키는 것이며 이때 방사상 선로구성, 전압, 전류 등의 제약조건들이 만족되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 건전피더들이 고장 발생 직후 계통으로 공급하여야 할 부하의 총량을 규정하는 함수와 순환적 최적우선탐색을 이용하여 사고 발생 시 단지 정전의 복구뿐만 아니라 부하의 균등화까지도 함께 수행되는 효율적인 정전복구 알고리즘을 제시한다. 제시되는 알고리즘은 건전피더들이 고장 발생 직후 계통으로 공급하여야 할 부하의 총량을 규정하는 함수로부터 각 피더들이 공급하여야 할 목표치를 제안하고 또한 지수의 목적 값을 만족하는 스위칭을 찾기 위하여 순환적 최적우선 탐색법을 이용한다. 본 논문에서는 제시한 알고리즘을 실제로 서울의 K지사에서 윤용하고 있는 108모선에 적용하여 결과를 도출 했으며 그 결과 제안된 알고리즘을 이용할 경우에 적은 탐색 횟수로 정전이 복구됨과 동시에 건전 선로간의 부하가 균등화되었음을 입증하였다.

단층 초전도케이블 샘플에서 교류손실의 수치해석에 대한 연구 (A Study on Numerical Analysis of the AC Loss in a Single-layer Superconducting Cable Sample)

  • AC loss is one of the important factors for commercialization of a high temperature superconducting (HTS) cable from an economic point of view. But AC loss characteristics of the HTS-cable are not elucidated completely because of its complex structure. As an earlier stage of analyzing the AC loss in the 22.9 kV/50 MVA, 100m HTS-cable system of Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) which is now in collaboration with us, a two-dimensional (2D) numerical model, which takes into account the nonlinear conductivity properties of a high temperature superconductor, has been developed. In order to examine our 2D model, we have prepared several single-layer cable samples whose AC losses are sufficiently reliable due to their simple structure. The AC losses of the samples were experimentally investigated and then compared with our 2D model. The results show that the numerically calculated AC losses are not in good agreement with the measured ones for the cylindrical cable and deca-cable samples with low critical current density. However, the numerically calculated and measured AC losses are relatively in good agreement for the deca-cable and hex-cable samples with high critical current density, although the difference between these two loss data in the deca-cable sample tends to increase in the low current region.

Effects of High-harmonic Components on the Rayleigh Indices in Multi-mode Thermo-acoustic Combustion Instability

  • This paper presents the characteristics of non-fundamental multi-mode combustion instability and the effects of high-harmonic components on the Rayleigh criterion. Phenomenological observations of multi-harmonic-mode dynamic pressure waves regarding the intensity of harmonic components and the source of wave distortion have been explained by introducing examples of second- and third-order harmonics at various amplitudes. The amplitude and order of the harmonic components distorted the wave shapes, including the peak and the amplitude, of the dynamic pressure and heat release, and consequently the temporal Rayleigh index and its integrals. A cause-and-effect analysis was used to identify the root causes of the phase delay and the amplification of the Rayleigh index. From this analysis, the skewness of the dynamic pressure turned out to be a major source in determining whether multi-mode instability is driving or damping, as well as in optimizing the combustor design, such as the mixing length and the combustor length, to avoid unstable regions. The results can be used to minimize errors in predicting combustion instability in cases of high multi-mode combustion instability. In the future, the amount of research and the number of applications will increase because new fuels, such as fast-burning syngases, are prone to generating multi-mode instabilities.

GIS 부분방전 신호와 도착 시간차 분석을 통한 PD발생 위치 추적 (Partial Discharge Position Tracking Method using a GIS Partial Discharge Signal and Arrival Time Difference)

  • This paper analyzes of PD occurrence position through an analysis of the arrival time difference between the GIS partial discharge signal. Because of GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) is a facility very important power equipment and as part of the equipment that make up the power system, the stabilization of the power industry, which accounted for 88.5% share of GIS substation in the form of a substation is an important equipment for power supply. In the situation where we are gradually expanding the need for preventive diagnosis in order to improve the efficiency of equipment management and failure prevention for Preventive diagnosis. In this paper as a method for extracting pre-defect of failure of GIS Apply the average value method of calculating the 5 times each using a pulse of the first time of the second pulse (${\Delta}t$) with an oscilloscope generation position PD(Partial Discharge). the results of GIS internal inspection, the partial discharge of the actual the position of the partial discharge was confirmed with an accuracy of about 82% of positions. Arrival time difference in the most effective manner if the partial discharge of GIS internal occurs by applying the averaging method and TOA(Time of arrival) method, the partial discharge occurs you through the measurement and analysis of PD signal occurs was confirmed in the experiment are presented and diagnostic methods location tracking.

회피비용을 고려한 EGEAS 모형 개발과 전원개발계획의 최적화 (A Modified EGEAS Model with Avoided Cost and the Optimization of Generation Expansion Plan)

  • Pubilc utility industries including the electric utility industry are facing a new stream of privatization com-petition with the private sector and deregulation. The necewssity to solve now and in the future power supply and demand problems has been increasing through the sophisticated generation expansion plan(GEP) approach con-sidering not only KEPCo's supply-side resources but also outside resources such as non-utility generation(NUG) demand-side management (DSM). Under the environmental situation in the current electric utility industry a new approach is needed to acquire multiple resources competitively. This study presents the development of a modified electric generation expansion analysis system(EGEAS) model with avoided cost based on the existing EGEAS model which is a dynamic program to develope an optimal generation expansion plan for the electric utility. We are trying to find optimal GEP in Korea's case using our modified model and observe the difference for the level of reliabilities such as the reserve margin(RM) loss of load probability(LOLP) and expected unserved energy percent(EUEP) between the existing EGEAS model and our model. In addition we are trying to calculate avoided cost for NUG resources which is a criterion to evaluate herem and test possibility of connection calculation of avoided cost with GEP implementation using our modified model. The results of our case study are as follows. First we were able to find that the generation expansion plan and reliability measures were largely influenced by capacity size and loading status of NUG resources, Second we were able to find that avoided cost which are criteria to evaluate NUG resources could be calculated by using our modified EGEAS model with avoided cost. We also note that avoided costs were calculated by our model in connection with generation expansion plans.

Analysis of a Harmonics Neutralized 48-Pulse STATCOM with GTO Based Voltage Source Converters

  • Multi-pulse topology of converters using elementary six-pulse GTO - VSC (gate turn off based voltage source converter) operated under fundamental frequency switching (FFS) control is widely adopted in high power rating static synchronous compensators (STATCOM). Practically, a 48-pulse ($6{\times}8$ pulse) configuration is used with the phase angle control algorithm employing proportional and integral (PI) control methodology. These kinds of controllers, for example the ${\pm}80MVAR$ compensator at Inuyama switching station, KEPCO, Japan, employs two stages of magnetics viz. intermediate transformers (as many as VSCs) and a main coupling transformer to minimize harmonics distortion in the line and to achieve a desired operational efficiency. The magnetic circuit needs altogether nine transformers of which eight are phase shifting transformers (PST) used in the intermediate stage, each rating equal to or more than one eighth of the compensator rating, and the other one is the main coupling transformer having a power rating equal to that of the compensator. In this paper, a two-level 48-pulse ${\pm}100MVAR$ STATCOM is proposed where eight, six-pulse GTO-VSC are employed and magnetics is simplified to single-stage using four transformers of which three are PSTs and the other is a normal transformer. Thus, it reduces the magnetics to half of the value needed in the commercially available compensator. By adopting the simple PI-controllers, the model is simulated in a MATLAB environment by SimPowerSystems toolbox for voltage regulation in the transmission system. The simulation results show that the THD levels in line voltage and current are well below the limiting values specified in the IEEE Std 519-1992 for harmonic control in electrical power systems. The controller performance is observed reasonably well during capacitive and inductive modes of operation.

요일 요인을 고려한 하절기 전력수요 예측 (The Load Forecasting in Summer Considering Day Factor)

  • 이 논문에서는 여름철 일일 전력수요 총량을 예측하는 회귀모형을 개발한다. 경제적인 전력 생산계획을 수립하기위해 예측 오차율을 낮추는 것은 매우 중요하다. 전력수요가 크게 증가하는 여름철 전력수요를 예측하기위해 기존 연구에서는 외기온도 및 직전일 전력수요를 고려하였으나, 이 논문에서는 기존 연구에서 제시한 예측 오차율을 개선하기 위해 전력수요의 요일별 특성을 추가적으로 고려한 회귀모형을 개발한다. 이 논문에서는 여름철 전력수요의 요일별 패턴은 최고차항의 계수가 음수인 2차 함수 형태를 나타냄을 확인하였다. 즉, 2005년부터 2009년까지 5년간의 여름철 전력수요 패턴을 살펴본 결과 전력수요 총량은 일요일에 가장 낮고 월요일부터 증가하다가 수요일이나 목요일부터 다시 감소하는 패턴을 보인다. 이 논문에서 제안하는 여름철 전력수요 예측 회귀모형의 타당성을 검증하기 위해 2005년부터 2009년까지 실제 전력수요 데이터를 바탕으로 여름철 전력수요 총량을 예측한 결과, 평균 오차율(MAPE: Mean Absolute Percentage Error)과 최대 오차율(MPE: Maximum Percentage Error)이 각각 3.08%와 8.99%를 넘지 않는 수준임을 확인하였다. 또한 기존 연구에서 제시한 방법과 비교하여도 평균 오차율과 최대 오차율 모두 기존 연구에서 제시한 오차율보다 우수함을 확인하였다.

BESS의 경제성과 충방전 전압 특성을 고려한 적정 SOC 운영 영역 설정 기법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Methodology of Determining Proper SOC Operation Range Considering the Economic Characteristics and the Charge and Discharge Voltage Characteristics of BESS)

  • With the growing interest of microgrid all over the world, many studies on microgrid operation are being carried out. The battery energy storage system(BESS) is a key equipment for effective operation of the microgrid. In this paper, we analyze the characteristics of the charge and discharge output voltage of the battery and the characteristics of the life-span variation and the investment cost when the state-of-charge (SOC) changes. The formulas to represent the quality of the charge and discharge output voltage of the battery and the economics due to the life-span variation and the investment cost according to DOD(Depth of Discharge) are derived. The methodology of determining the proper operation ranges of the battery SOC with varying the weighting of the quality of its charge and discharge output voltage of the battery and the economics due to its life-span variation and the investment cost is presented using these formulas.
