부산지역 해양수산 IT융합 인적자원개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Human Resources Development with the IT Combined Ability in the Field of Fisheries and Oceans in Busan)

  • This study was carried out through survey based on job candidates of marine-bio, marine logistics, and GIS in order to train the human resources with the IT combined ability in the field of fisheries and oceans in Busan. Also, it included the survey on the field of the human resource development which businesses require in Busan. The analysis showed that food industry was most preferred by job candidates and the most required efforts for self-development to employ was to improve their English skills. The most preferred area was Busan and their salary requirements were in the 25 million to 30 million Won range. In findings on survey of businesses, businesses showed a profound interest in HACCP qualification in sea food and logitics manager qualification, and thought that the abilities that job candidates must have were communication and creativity rather than major and skills.

밀레니얼 세대 간호사의 간호근무환경, 직무 착근도, 직업존중감이 재직의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Millennials Generation Nurse's Nursing Work Environment, Job Embeddedness and Job Esteem on Retention Intention)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of the nursing work environment, job embeddedness, and job esteem on the retention intention in the millennial generation nurses. The subjects of this study are nurses working in general hospitals with more than 300 beds. Among nurses born in the 1980s and early 2000s, 97 agreed to study. As a result of the study, there was a significant difference in academic background.(F=6.74, p=.002) In terms of final education, those with graduate or higher were higher than those with three-year graduation and four-year graduation Retention intention is the degree of job placement (r=.319, p=.001), job respect (r=.331, p=.001) had a positive relationship with the nursing working environment (r=-.252, p=.013) was negatively correlated. Factors affecting the retention intention is 12.9% explanatory skills as a result of the introduction of job embeddedness, nursing work environment, and job esteem. It is necessary to understand the characteristics of the generation in order to increase the retention intention as a millennial generation nurse.

성별에 따른 이공계 전공교육만족이 일자리 만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Job Satisfaction on the Major Satisfaction of Science and Engineering College Students According to Gender Differences)

  • This study is aim to the effects of job satisfaction on the major satisfaction of science and engineering college students and also analyzed the mediating effects of future outlook of job and major relevance in career choice. To do this, structural equation modeling(SEM) and multi-group SEM were applied to data from 2016 Graduate Occupational Mobility Survey(GOMS). In the results of this study, the major satisfaction, future outlook of job and major relevance were positive effects on job satisfaction and the mediating effects of future outlook of job and major relevance were verified. And results of analysis according to gender difference, the coefficient of woman was smaller than man. Among major satisfaction had a positive effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction fell for women who value their relevance to the major when choosing a job. Based on such results, universities need to further strengthen their role in helping them enhance their expertise through skills and learning about their majors.

An Analysis of the Positive and Negative Factors Affecting Job Satisfaction Using Topic Modeling

  • When a competent employee leaves an organization, the technical skills and know-how possessed by that employee also disappear, which may lead to various problems, such as a decrease in organizational morale and technology leakage. To address such problems, it is important to increase employees' job satisfaction. Due to the advancement of both information and communication technology and social media, many former and current employees share information regarding companies in which they have worked or for which they currently work via job portal websites. In this study, a web crawl was used to collect reviews and job satisfaction ratings written by all and incumbent employees working in nine industries from Job Planet, a Korean job portal site. According to this analysis, regardless of the industry in question, organizational culture, welfare support, work system, growth capability and relationships had significant positive effects on job satisfaction, while time and attendance management, performance management, and organizational flexibility had significant negative effects on job satisfaction. With respect to the path difference between former and current employees, time and attendance management and organizational flexibility have greater negative effects on job satisfaction for current employees than for former employees. On the other hand, organizational culture, work system, and relationships had greater positive effects for current employees than for former employees.

  • Cluster analysis according to the activities IS practitioners perform shows that IS practitioners can be broadly categorized into two groups, generalists and specialists: generalists allocate their work time relatively evenly across the activities while specialists allocate more time on some specific activities than on other activities. Empirical findings also show that generalists and specialists are required to possess different configurations of IS knowledge and skills respectively to do their work successfully and that they possess different configurations of IS knowledge and skills. Empirical findings reveal that specialists change the activities they do mainly as their carrier evolves while generalists do not.

A Study on Relationship between Interpersonal Relation, Communication Skills and Work-related Stress in Physical Therapists

  • In this research, we performed to investigate the relationship between interpersonal relation, communication skills and work-related stress in physical therapists. The subjects of this study were consist of 388 physical therapists from general hospitals and medical rehabilitation centers in Gyeonggi region. Data were analyzed using the PASW 18.0. Work-related stress showed statistically significant differences according to the demographic characteristics of clinical experience. Interpersonal relation found significant negative correlation for work-related stress except job-demand stress. Also, this study found negative correlation between communication skills and work-related stress, and significantly correlated interpersonal relation with communication skill. The results of this study suggest that in developing programs to manage work-related stress for improving interpersonal relations and communication skills in physical therapists.

  • 시스템분석가에게 요구되는 기능과 기술이 무엇인지를 밝히는 것은 기업들은 물론이고 경영교육기관들에게 매우 중요한 문제이다. 인터넷과 같은 엄청난 기술의 발전은 정보기술 연구자들로 하여금 어떤 기술이 쇠퇴하고 어떤 기술이 새롭게 등장하는지를 밝히도록 요구하고 있다. 이 논문은 새로이 대기업에 취업을 하여 일하고 있는 시스템분석가로 부터 온 편지의 내용과 교육기관에서 사용하고 있는 교재의 내용을 비교 분석하고자 한다. 이것은 정보기술종사자들의 편지가 또 하나의 훌륭한 연구 및 교육재료임을 밝히고자 함이다.

장애아 보육교사의 전문성 인식과 직무스트레스의 관계 (Awareness of Professionalism and Job Stress in Child-Care Teachers of Children with Special Needs)

  • This study defined awareness of professionalism and job stress in 353 child-care teachers of children with special needs and analyzed the relative contribution of professional awareness to job stress. Teachers showed high awareness of 'ethics' and 'enthusiasm enhancing professionalism', and this awareness correlated highly with professionalism in the 'specialized knowledge and skills' sub-factors. Teachers showed high levels of stress in the 'general duty' and the 'guidance of children with special needs' categories, and this correlated highly with stress caused by 'child-care center management.' The results of canonical correlation analysis indicated that of professionalism sub-factors only the awareness of 'social services' contributed positively to job stress.

Relations between Information Items of Job Posting and Vacancy Duration in Mid-level Labour Market - by GLM, Decision Tree

  • In this paper, we study the relationship between vacancy duration and information items of a job posting by using generalized linear models and a decision tree analysis w.r.t. the three factors such as company characteristics, employment conditions, and constraints. The results indicate that the employment conditions rather than company characteristics are more influential to the vacancy duration. These effects are presumed to be based on the complex relations between the decisions of the employers and the job seekers. And in this paper we suggest the need to provide personalized and profiled labor market information tailored for a quick decision to job seekers and employers. Policy implication is that since employer's decision affects the vacation duration, employers may had better to provide a comprehensive labour market information including supply and demand of the required skills in order to reduce the time for judgment on the cost-effectiveness.

X, M, Z 보육교사의 세대 및 직무 인식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Generational and Job Perception of X, M, Z Generation Childcare Center Teacher)

  • Objective: This study examines the generational characteristics and job perceptions of early childhood teachers from Generations X, M, and Z. Methods: Seventeen teachers were selected based on their career and the types of childcare centers they worked in. Focus group interviews explored their job perceptions, teaching methods, career intentions, and strategies to attract future teachers. Results: The results revealed both positive and negative generational perceptions, with Generation X and M noted for diverse job experiences and Generation Z for digital skills. Individual differences were also observed. All generations reported low job satisfaction due to societal perceptions and environmental changes. Many teachers plan to change jobs. The study suggests utilizing generational strengths for peer support to enhance professional development. Conclusion/Implications: Furthermore, improvements in societal perception and treatment of childcare jobs are needed to attract future teachers. The findings suggest implications for enhanced intergenerational communication and collaboration in the childcare field.
