가정주부의 한약에 대한 지식수준과 관련요인 (Housewives' Knowledge Level of Herb Medicine and Its Related Factors)

  • This study was conducted to examine housewives' knowledge level of herb medicine and its related factors in Korea. Data were collected from 667 housewives from April 1, 1999 to June 30, 1999. The results of this study are summarized as follows. 1. According to general characteristics of the subjects, 29.1$\%$ of the subjects was over fifties. 28.6$\%$ was primary school graduate. while 25.5$\%$ was high school graduate. In case of job, the unemployed was 67.0$\%$ and professional/clerical worker was 19.6$\%$. 82.0$\%$ had spouses and 45.7$\%$ believed in Buddha. 50.8$\%$ of the subjects lived in big cities and 76.7$\%$ was the middle class. In case of their health condition, 33.4$\%$ was in good health, while 5 1.1$\%$ suffered from certain diseases and 43.9$\%$ was not satisfied with health conditions. 2. The proportion of experience in taking herb medicine was 86.4$\%$. The marital status and health condition were significantly related to the experience in taking herb medicine. When the respondents took diseases, 68.0$\%$ of them were experienced in folk remedy. The variables of age and religion were significantly related to experience in folk remedy. 3. According to the respondents opinions of the effect of the folk remedy, 'effective' was 78.5$\%$ and 'common' was 17.6$\%$, while 'not effective' was 3.9$\%$. 59.3$\%$ of the respondents thought that the folk remedy had scientific basis. 4. In case of information sources on herb medicine, 59.7$\%$ of the respondents obtained the information from TV or Radio. 13.7$\%$ of them got it from magazines related to Oriental medicine and 13.3$\%$ of them obtained it from newspapers or related books. The information sources were significantly related to age and health condition. The knowledge level of herb medicine was 20.76${\pm}$2.66 point on the basis of 30 points. The knowledge level was significantly related to age, occupation, health condition, information sources, experience in taking herb medicine, and opinions of scientific basis of the folk remedy. 5. The respondents marked 2.23${\pm}$0.64 points on the basis of 3.0 points in the question of the effect of taking herb medicine in summer, 2.30${\pm}$0.61 points in the question of the relationship between taking deer antlers and becoming clear-headed, 2.72${\pm}$0.56 points in the question of ginseng, 2.51${\pm}$0.56 points in the question of the relationship between taking herb medicine and being harmful to the liver, 1.94${\pm}$0.74 points in the question of taking herb medicine during the period of pregnancy, 1.84${\pm}$0.78 points in the question of the relationship between menstrual irregularity and motherwort, 2.00${\pm}$0.83 points in the question of the relationship between taking herb medicine and getting fat, 1.76${\pm}$0.89 points in the question of the relationship between Ssanghwatang and cold, 2.15${\pm}$0.76 points in the question of taking honey, and 1.45${\pm}$0.77 points in the question of selecting foods during the period of taking herb medicine. 6. The factors influencing decision of taking herb medicine were experience of taking herb medicine, intention of receiving treatment by folk remedy, occupation, health condition, and age. As seen in the above results, the knowledge level of taking herb medicine during the period of pregnancy, the relationship between menstrual irregularity and motherwort, Ssanghwatang, honey, and selecting foods during the period of taking herb medicine was very low. Therefore, it is necessary to develop education programs in order to provide community residents with basic knowledge of herb medicine. In doing so, the government, Oriental medical doctors, and associations related to herb medicine must make great efforts.

팀제가 팀 임파워먼트에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구;KBS 팀제를 중심으로 (The Empirical Study on the Effects of the Team Empowerment caused by the Team-Based Organizational Structure in KBS)

  • 우리나라 기업들은 급변하는 환경을 극복하고 조직의 성과를 높이기 위하여 수직조직을 팀조직으로 전환하고 있다. 그러나 현행 팀제는 조직의 형식만 바꾸었을 뿐 실상은 과거 수직조직과 다름없다는 평가가 많다. 이러한 결과는 팀제의 성공에 필요한 핵심변수인 임파워먼트에 대한 검토와 실행이 되지 않고 있기 때문이다. 본 연구는 KBS 팀제에서 구성원들이 임파워먼트 되는데 걸림돌이 되는 여건이나 심리적 상태들을 파악하여 조직의 임파워먼트를 어떻게 실현할 것인가에 대한 정책적 대안을 제시하고자 한다. 횡단적 연구를 위하여 국내외 문헌조사를 하고 KBS 내에서 회수한 설문결과와 개인면담, 그리고 관찰의견을 종합하여 검토하였다. 설문지는 약 1,200부를 배포해 474부가 수거되어 이 중 460부를 SPSS 12.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 종단적 연구를 위하여 ‘KBS 팀제에 관한 사원의식 조사결과 보고서’ 의 내용과 본 설문조사 연구에서 공통적으로 비교분석할 수 있는 6개 부분을 추출하여 약 10여개윌간의 변화를 비교분석하였다. 분석결과 부정적인 응답자가 24.2%p가 줄어들었고 긍정적인 응답자는 1.29%p가 줄어들었다. 이는 부정적인 평가를 하던 구성원들이 긍정적인 평가자로 전환되어 팀제에 대한 이해가 확산된다는 측면에서 발전적이라 할 수 있으나 문제점에 대한 지속적 해결노력이 필요하다는 것을 시사한다 하겠다. 임파워먼트는 개인과 조직차원에서 생산성을 향상시키는 것으로 증명되었다. 팀 임파워먼트를 높이기 위해서는 경영진이 변혁적 리더십을 발휘해야 하고, 낮게 나타난 경영진과 조직구성원 사이에 신뢰가 무엇보다 먼저 향상되어야 할 것이다. 모든 본부와 직급에서 높게 나타난 업무기피자에 대한 부담이 큰 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 전체 팀원에게 고른 업무분담이 되고 있지 못하다는 것을 뜻한다고 볼 수 있다. 그리고 구성원들은 회사의 평가보상시스템을 신뢰하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 팀의 규모와 업무배정에 좀 더 세심한 배려가 필요하고 평가보상 체계에 사각지대가 생기지 않도록 현행 평가제도를 보완하여야 할 것이다. 리더십은 조직의 특성이나 구성원들의 성향에 따라 각양각색이다. 조직에 맞는 KBS만의 변혁적 리더십, 그리고 팀별로 각각의 특성에 맞는 리더십을 개발하여 운영할 필요가 있다. 또한 팀제의 정착을 위하여 내부 교육과 훈련을 좀 더 강화할 필요가 있다고 판단된다.

관할지역 주민의 보건진료소에 대한 태도와 이용양상 (Utilization Pattern and Percept ion and Attitude of Rural Residents towards Primary Health Post)

  • 보건진료소 관할지역주민들의 보건진료소에 대한 이용양상과 인식도를 파악하기 위하여 2000년 12월 10일부터 2001년 1월15일까지 경상북도 상주시 지역 24개 보건진료소 관할지역 753가구(가구원 1,803명)에 대해 설문조사를 실시하였다. 전체가구원의 지난 2주간의 급성질환 이환율은 29.6%이었으며 이들의 의료기관 이용률은 98.3% 이었다. 연령별로는 60-69세가 35.4%로 가장 높았는데 연령이 높을수록, 학력이 낮을수록 이환율이 높았다. 전체 가구원의 1년간 만성질환 이환율은 19.2%이었으며 이들의 의료기관 이용률은 92.8% 이었다. 만성질환 이환율은 70세 이상에서 37.2%로 가장 높았고, 연령이 높을수록, 학력이 낮을수록 유의하게 높았다. 급성질환시 의료이용은 보건진료소 이용이 89.5%로 대부분을 차지하였으며, 만성질환시에는 보건진료소 이용이 40.2%이었고 병 의원 이용이 48.9%이었다. 조사시점 이전 1년간의 보건진료소 이용 경험률은 94.8%이었고 진료목적 이외 방문 경험률은 72.2%이었으며, 73.3%의 응답자가 보건교육을 받은 경험이 있었다고 하였다. 응답자의 98.5%가 보건진료소의 위치를 알고 있었고, 건강관리에 도움이 된다는 인식이 98.6%, 지역발전과의 관련성에는 84.3%가 큰 역할을 수행한다고 하였으며, 보건진료소의 필요성에 대해서는 97.4%가 필요하다고 응답하였다. 보건진료소의 주된 업무는 질병치료, 예방접종, 건강상담 순으로 인식하였으며 보건진료소가 중점적으로 시행해주기를 원하는 업무는 주민건강상담 및 관리가 31.6%로 가장 높았다. 보건진료소 진료비에 대해서는 88.9%가 싸다고 하였고, 보건진료원의 친절도는 98.4%가 친절하다고 하였으며 서비스 만족도도 97.0%로 매우 높았다. 보건진료소에 대한 불만사항은 약의 종류가 부족하다가 42.9%로 가장 높았고 시설이 좋지않다가 15.8%이었다. 조사대상 지역주민들은 지리적 여건과 경제적 여건에 의해 보건진료소를 많이 이용하고 있었으며 보건진료소에 대한 주민들의 만족도도 높았고 필요성도 절감하고 있었다. 그리고 질병치료업무 이외의 보건사업에 대한 요구도 많았고 의약품과 의료시설 및 장비에 대한 불만이 큰 점을 감안하여 보건진료소를 계속적으로 유지 운영하되 보건진료소의 기능의 재정비, 시설 장비의 보강, 그리고 보건진료원의 교육훈련강화를 통해 벽오지 주민에게 바람직한 의료서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 적극 지원해야 할 것이다.

국내 선형가속기의 포괄적인 품질관리체계에 대한 제언 (Suggestion for Comprehensive Quality Assurance of Medical Linear Accelerator in Korea)

  • 미국의학물리학회는 포괄적인 방사선치료기기의 품질관리를 위한 작업그룹(Task Group: TG) 40 보고서를 1994년 발표한 이후로 세기조절방사선치료, 정위적방사선치료, 및 영상유도방사선치료 등의 고정밀 방사선치료를 포함한 선형가속기에 대한 품질관리를 권고하기 위해 2010년에 AAPM TG-142를 발간하였다. 그리고 최근 국내에서도 최신 치료기법에 대한 품질관리의 필요성에 따라 원자력안전위원회는 원자력안전위원회고시 제2015-005호 "의료분야의 방사선안전관리에 관한 기술기준"을 발표하였다. 원자력안전위원회고시에는 각 의료기관에서 품질관리전문인력을 두어 품질관리 조직 및 직무, 품질관리에 필요한 장비, 품질관리 방법/주기/관리오차 및 관리오차 초과 시 조치방법 등에 대한 내용이 포함된 품질관리절차서를 수립하고 품질관리를 수행하도록 규정되어 있다. 이에 따라 의료기관에서는 3차원 입체조형방사선치료, 세기조절방사선치료, 정위적방사선치료 등과 같은 방사선치료유형별(Non-IMRT, IMRT, SRS/SBRT)로 방사선치료기기에 맞는 품질관리 항목, 주기 및 관리오차를 설정하고, 적절한 품질관리 장비 등을 사용하여 기관의 실정에 맞게 품질관리를 수행하여야 한다. 그러나 국내에는 선형가속기의 체계적인 품질관리를 구축할 수 있는 지침서나 학회 보고서 등이 미비하여 현재 각 의료기관별로 각기 다른 품질관리의 항목, 주기 및 관리오차를 설정하여 품질관리를 수행하고 있는 실정이다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 방사선치료의 안전성 및 정확성을 확보하기 위해 원자력안전위원회 고시 및 TG-142에 기반한 국내 실정에 적합한 선형가속기에 대한 품질관리체계 구축 방안 등을 제안하였다. 제안된 선형가속기에 대한 품질관리 체계는 다른 고정밀 방사선치료기기 등의 품질관리 체계 구축에도 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.

신규 일반음식점 영업자의 위생관리 지식 및 태도 (Knowledge and Attitude on the Restaurant-Related Sanitation of New Restaurateurs)

  • 식품위생에 관한 지식은 식중독의 예방여부, 냉동 냉장식품 보관법, 유통기한 경과 제품처리에 대해서는 조사대상의 87.9%-94.4% 정도가 정확히 알고 있었으나, 식중독의 원인 주요 예방법, 냉장고 보관온도에 대해서는 조사대상의 56.0%-63.0% 정도가 바르게 알고 있었다. 위생지식에 대한 정답률이 낮은 남성, 40대 이외의 연령층, 학력이 낮은, 종업원이 음식조리자인 경우에 대한 지속적인 위생교육이 필요 필요할 것으로 생각되고, 위생교육 미이수자가 위생지식에 대한 정답률이 높은 것으로 보아 교육내용 방법에 대한 개선이 필요하겠다. 위생수준 개선의 필요성에 대해서는 조사대상의 83.6%가, 건강진단의 필요성에 대해서는 조사대상의 78.6%가, 위생교육의 필요성에 대해서는 조사대상의 76.4%가 필요하다고 응답하였다. 위생수준이 미흡한 이유로 영업주의 위생의식이 미흡하여서가 조사대상의 71.6%로 가장 높았고, 개선해야 될 분야에는 업소시설 등 환경위생이 조사대상의 36.7%로 가장 높았다. 위생교육에서 가장 필요한 교육내용으로는 조사대상의 35.7%가 음식의 위생적 품질관리라고 하였고, 29.5%가 전반적인 식품위생의 개요라고 하였으며, 17.7%는 주변환경 및 주방시설의 위생적 취급이라고 응답하였다. 식품위생법 위반시 조사대상의 81.0%는 즉시 시정한다고 응답하였으며, 학력이 높을수록 즉시 시정하겠다는 응답이 많았다. 위생개선을 의해 행정기관에 바라는 점은 조사대상의 73.2%가 시설 및 운영자금지원을 지적하였고, 주기적인 위생교육이 19.3%, 위생공무원의 현지지도가 6.2%였다. 위생실천 실태에서는 위생복 착용률은 31.1%였으며, 조리시에 손을 씻지 않거나 그냥 물로만 씻는 경우가 각각 3.2%, 36.2%였고, 개인위생을 잘 준수한다는 43.7%로서 실천이 제대로 되지 않는 것으로 조사되었다. 이상의 결과로 미흡한 식품접객업소의 위생상태 개선을 위해서는 행정기관의 제도적 보완과 금융지원, 영업주의 직업에 대한 자긍심고취, 위생교육기관의 실효성 있는 위생교육프로그램의 개발 및 교육이 집중적으로 이루어져야 할 것으로 사료된다.

한국인 혼인행태 변화분석 (Analysis on Change in Korean Marriage Behaviors)

  • This study aims at identifying the recent change in marriage behaviors in Korea. The data used here is the vital statistics compiled from the vital registration system of which registration form is put on one from together with the civil registration form. According to the results of this analysis, since 1970 the number of marriages has steadily increased from about 300, 000 in the former of 1970s to about 400, 000 in the latter of 1980s, appproximately coincided with the change in population size at the marriageable age span. The few exceptions that can be seen in the 1970s seem to result from the impact of social upheavals during 1950s; since the birth cohorts affected by the low fertility during the Korean war and the post-war baby-boom generations chracterized by the high fertility entered the marriage market in the 1970s. However, the marriage rate shows a little increase from around 7 in the former of 1970s to around 9 in the latter of 1980s, indicating that the marriage prevalence has been more or less inconsiderably changed during this period. It is also found that the proportion of remarriage to the total marriages has increased to around 10 per cent in 1989, while decreasing that of first marriage. This fact can be attributable to the higher prevalence of divorces and the collapsing of the Confucianism ethic which contributed to expediting the remarriage of widows. Although this proportion is insignificant compared with that of the of more developed countries, it is not difficult to say that the proportion of remarriages will continue to increase in future. The age first at first marriage(AFM) which directly affects the span exposed to the risks pregnancy has increased to the age about 28 for male and about 25 for female in recent years. However, big difference in AFM between urban and rural areas has narrowed, resultant from the increasing involuntary postponement of marriage of rural young population who have met difficulties in seeking their bride or bridegroom in rural areas characterized by the heavy out-migration of young, particularly female, population. The present study shows the reverse relationship between AFM and educational attainment; i.e, the higher the educational attainment the lower the AFM. The conditions which are taken into considerations were the class and the family in the past time but which are, educational attainment, job and personal characteristics. With regard to the age condition, in recent years the male prefers the female younger than himself on the average by 3 years and vice versa, which is reduced form 4-5 years in beginning of 1970s. The age difference bride and bridegroom tends to decrease with the educational attainment increase. This may be attributable to the fact that the persons with the higher educational attainment prefer the love marriage and hence are more likely to choose their counterparts in the about same age. The education condition is characterized by the bridegroom having the higher educational level than bride. It is also significant to note that the proportion of love marriage has increased, whereas that of traditional arranged marriage has decreased. This is true in the urban areas than the rural areas, indicating that rights as well as responsibilities for marriage have been handed over the young population from their parents. In conclusion, the change in the marriage behaviors in Korea are characterized by increasing tendency for the postponement of first marriage, higher prevalences of divorces and a result remarriages, increase of love marriages, narrowing age difference between bride and bridegroom, etc. which are the main results of rapid industrization, increase in educational and economic activity opportunities and change in the ideals of marriages during the past decades. These phenomena prevailing in Korean society would affect not only the family structure that will become less proliferiated but the population size and structure. The most important is that the changes in marriage behaviors of Koreans and their impact on the society with respect to norms, values, morals, of individual and family in the social aspect, change in population size and structure in the demograpic aspects, and economic development in the economic aspects should be integrated into the plannings towards to the future.

일반음식점 신규영업주의 위생관리지식 및 위생행정에 대한 태도 (Knowledge and Attitude toward Restaurant-Related Sanitation of New Restaurateurs)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the sanitation affairs of general restaurants. The questionnaire survey on the attitude and knowledge toward sanitation, the attitude for sanitary administration and the sanitary education was conducted against new 600 restaurateurs who were educated from June 20 to July 11, 1996, at the administration hall's division of Kyungsangbook-do in charge of food industry that offered regular sanitary education to new restaurateurs annually. And the visit survey on sanitary practice was also conducted over 93 restaurateurs who obtained the commercial license for food service business. The findings from the survey were as follows; In regard to food sanitation, some 87.1 to 88.3% got the right knowledge about the reason and precaution of food poisoning, food's frozen or cold-storage, and the disposal of products after expiration of validity term. But it was about 20.8% to 50.0% who knew right about major precaution, storage temperature in refrigerator, fermented milk product's storage temperature and validity term. There was therefore a necessity for education in food sanitation. 38.2% of the subjects placed an emphasis on sanitary storage of foodstuffs as the most important thing in sanitary management. 33.8% emphasized cooking sanitation. The environmental sanitation was counted as the most important thing by 19.2%, and personal sanitation of worker was counted by 8.8%. There was differences in what they thought the most important thing was, according to the respondent's educational level and cooker. 86.6% replied it necessary to improve the sanitary level. The respondents who were younger or had better educational level emphasized more the need for it. Concerning health examination, 90.2% replied it necessary. 81.4% answered the reason was because there was a potentiality Quests might be infected with contagious disease. 78.5% pointed the need for sanitary education, but respondents with higher educational level less emphasized its needs. As the reason for poor sanitation, restaurateur's poor awareness about it was most frequently pointed out, by 46.9%. Cooking sanitation was most frequently counted, by 38.5%, as the first thing to be improved. As the most critical point in sanitary education, 34.5% indicated food's sanitary Quality control 30.9% mentioned sanitary treatment of kitchen facilities and peripheral environment, and 27.1% emphasized the summary of the general food sanitation. 77.7% answered to correct immediately in case of violating the Food Hygiene Law, and 12.0% replied to correct in the same case if they would get the order from public official or administrative action would be taken. Respondents with higher educational level answered more to correct immediately. What they wanted the government office to do toward sanitary improvement was a fund aid an facilities and management which was pointed out by 38.9%, a periodical sanitary education by 26.3% and a on-the-spot guidance of sanitary officials by 22.3%. In view of the food service business's sanitary practice, the rate of wearing a sanitary clothes was 32.9% in city and 35.0% in county. The rate of hand-washing without soap or non-washing at cooking was 73.9%, 85%, respectively. The rate of personnel sanitation was 34.2% in city and 50.0% in county. These things indicated the sanitation was not well practiced. To improve the poor sanitary conditions of the food service businesses, it is recommended to offer institutional backing and financial aid from administrative office, and encourage restaurateurs to take pride in their job. and conduct the sanitary education effectively by sanitary education institution.

일부지역 산업재해환자 실태 조사 연구 -대구${\cdot}$경북지역 일부 종합병원 중심으로- (A Study of Industrial Patients from Selected General in the Kyung Pook and Taegu City areas)

  • The purpose of this study is to research the actual conditions of industrial accident patients and to produce worker satisfaction and a rational and effective counter measure plan. Direct interviews with 179 cases (in and out patients) were carried out during a three month period from April to July 1990, at six hospitals : two general hospitals Sun Lin and Sung Mo in Po Hang, and four general hospitals in Taegu : Kyung pooh University Hospital, Dong San Medical Center, Young Nam Medical Center and Catholic Hospital. The results of this study are summarized as fellows : 1. Among the 179 cases, $51.6\%$ were male and $48.4\%$ were female. The two largest age groups were 30-39, $31.8\%$ and 20-29, $27.4\%$. Among the 179 cases, $51.6\%$ were married, the largest family number was 2 to 3, $41.1\%$ and 4 to 5, $25.6\%$. Educationally, graduation from high school was the largest group, $46.4\%$ among ,the patients, followed by middle school and primary school. The largest group income level was from 40-69 만원, $45.2\%$. The largest group of patients who worked over 50 hrs. a week was $52.0\%$. The largest group of patients who worked less than 1 year was $44.7\%$, of the patients in work places of less than 100 people, $60.3\%$ were injured and in work places of 100-299 people, $20.1\%$ were injured. In manufacturing, the largest group injured was $55.3\%$, the next group was transport, storage, communication. The largest group of production workers injured was $40.2\%$. 2. The cause of injury in the largest group was facility problems, $33.5\%$. The next group was unsafe habits, $30.2\%$ ; a lack of safety knowledge, $17.9\%$ ; and insufficient supervision, $12.3\%$. The 30-39 year age group head the highest number of injuries, $40.4\%$ ; work places with more than 10 years of work, $44.4\%$ ; work places with more than 1000 people, $56.3\%$ and mining accidents, $80.0\%$. Among. these groups the highest cause of injury was due to facility problems. 3. The accident pattern showed machinery injuries $28.5\%$ as the largest group, followed by falls & falling objects $17.3\%$, fire & electric $15.1\%$, strucke by an object $14.5\%$, followed by overaction and vehicular accidents. The accident pattern showed $46.4\%$ among workers over the 50 year age group, workers in the 5-10 year group, $50.0\%$ ; places employing more than 1000 workers, $35.3\%$ ; construction $73.7\%$, and construction workers $57.1\%$, among these fall & falling objects caused the greatest number of injuries. 4. The largest group of injuries was fractures $54.8\%$, trauma $14.5\%$, amputation $11.7\%$, open wound, and burns. The largest number of fractures occurred in people in the 30-39 year age group, $63.2\%$ : over 10 years of work, $55.0\%$ ; in work places of 300-490 people, $63.6\%$ ; construction $63.2\%$ and general workers $57.2\%$. 5. The largest group of injuries was upper extremity $45.3\%$, lower extremity $24.0\%$, trunk $18.5\%$ and head or neck $12.2\%$. Of these groups, upper extremity injuries were the highest in those less than 20 years old $75.0\%$, less than 1 year or work $59.5\%$, in work places of 500-999 people $60.0\%$, manufacturing $56.6\%$ and production workers $55.6\%$. 6. Periods of injury showed 34 people injured in September, to be the largest followed by October, 32 ; August, 22 people : July, 19 people and the lowest December, 2 people. During the week, Friday had the largest group injured, 35 people ; followed by Saturday, 26 people and the lowest was Wednesday, 17 people, During the day 1400 hours had the largest group injured, 38 people ; followed by 800 hours, 31 people. 7. On a basis of 5 as the highest mark, the average, according to worker satisfaction showed facility safety 3.55, work environment 3.47, income 3.44, job 3.21 and treatment 2.98. 8. The correlation between general characteristics and injury showed that age was directly correlated to the duration of work (r=2591) p<0.01, age was directly correlated to industry (r=2311) p<0.01, and the duration was directly correlated to occupation (r=4372) p<0.001.

THI에 의한 일부 치과기공사의 건강상태에 관한 조사 연구 (A Study on the Health Status of Dental Technicians by Todai Health Index(THI))

  • 본 연구는 국민의 구강보건 증진에 있어 치과보철물 제작 업무를 담당하고 있는 치과기공사를 대상으로 THI 건강조사표를 통해 육체적, 정신적 건강상태를 분석하여 치과기공사들이 당면하고 있는 건강 문제를 파악하고, 건강관리 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공을 목적으로 2009년 1윌 15일부터 3월 31일까지 전국 치과기공소(실)에서 근무하고 있는 895명의 치과기공사를 대상으로 하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 치과기공사의 심신 자각증상에 따른 평균 척도득점은 신체적 호소가 21.10으로 정신적 호소 18.49보다 높았고, 신체적 호소 항목에서는 다호소(자각) 증상(I)이 38.44로 가장 높고 구강과 항문(D)이 15.30으로 가장 낮았으며, 정신적 호소 항목에서는 정서불안정(J)이 25.92로 가장 높고 공격성(F)이 14.02로 가장 낮게 나타났다. 10개 항목으로 표준화 한 결과에서는 신경질(E)이 20.63으로 가장 높은 호소점수를 보였다. 2. 남, 여 모두 신체적 호소가 정신적 호소보다 높고, 여성이 남성보다 신체적 호소와 정신적 호소가 모두 높았으며, 남성과 여성 모두 다호소(I)항목의 평균 척도득점이 각각 37.33과 40.46으로 가장 높게 나타났다. 12개 항목의 심신 자각증상 증 다호소(I), 눈과 피부(B), 충동성(H), 허구성(L), 정서불안정(J), 우울성(K), 공격성(F), 생활불규칙성(G)에서 유의한 차이(p<0.001)로 보였고, 그 다음으로 소화기(C)(p < 0.01)에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 3. 연구대상자들을 연령별, 결혼 상태별, 직위별, 근무환경별, 휴식 수별로 집단을 구분 한 결과 공통적으로 신체적 호소가 정신적 호소보다 높고, 12개 항목의 심신 자각증상 중 다호소(I)항목의 평균 척도득점이 가장 높았으며, 정서적불안정(J)항목이 두 번째로 높았다. 4. 신체적 정신적 항목의 평균 척도득점(호소점수)의 경우 연령에서는 20대 집단(각각 21.49. 18.70)이, 직위에서는 기타 집단(각각 22.00, 18.78)이, 근무환경에서는 '매우 불량하다'. 집단(각각 23.21, 19.33)이, 휴식 수에서는 '없다' 집단(각각 21.68, 18.81)에서 가장 높게 나타났으며, 결혼 상태에서는 기타 집단이 신체적 호소(21.55)에서, 미혼 집단은 정신적 호소(18.71)에서 가장 높게 나타났다.
