Chung Ji Yong is a well-known poet in the Japanese Occupation Period firstly as a lyrical and traditional poet as a member of the literary journal Simunhak(Poetry Literature) along with Park Yong Chul and Kim Young Rang and later as a prominent modernist poet in the late years of the Period. He is always highly estimated as a poet of pictorial images and lyricism, but his ardor for translations, especially Walt Whitman has been neglected so far. Before him, Ju Yohan, Yi Kwang Soo, Yi Un Sang, Kim Hyung Won and many other poets and critics had been interested in Whitman's democratic ideas and his poems. Chung Ji Young also translated Whitman's three poems in the hard days of 1930s. After the Imperial Japan surrendered to the Allied forces on 15 August 1945, ending 35 years of Japanese occupation, Korea was under the American forces and Russian troops. In this critical days of Korean's debating only one korea or separated Koreas, strangely enough, Chung ji Yong fully immersed in translating Whitman's poems only for four years as an English literature professor just before being abducted by North Korean Army, while almost discarding his own poetic ability and sense of duty as a leading poet in the literary circle with only just a few exceptions. Why did Chung Ji Yong focused on the translation of Whitman's poems in this important period as a poet and intellectual in the newly independent country? He may want to warn people too much ideological conflicts or at least express his frustration through translating Whitman's poems. Until now, academic endeavors on Chung Ji Yong's poems and life are focused on his lyrical and modernistic works of the Japanese Occupation Period and naturally little interested in the days of Independence period and his true motivations on translating Whitman's poems. As a proposal, this short article can be a minor trigger for the sincere efforts of Chung Ji Yong's last days.

In this paper, we explored the possibility that JiSuYongYukDo and JiSuGuiMunDo which were posed by Suk-Jung Choi can be used for storytelling. Firstly, from the solutions of JiSuYongYukDo and JiSuGuiMunDo which were offered by Suk-Jung Choi, students can inquire out finding four characteristics such as: He chose expected values as magic numbers, used pairs of two complementary numbers, there are independent four pairs of numbers which do not affect other pairs, and the array which exchange every two complementary numbers in certain solution is also solution. Secondly, in case of JiSuYongYukDo students can inquire out finding six numbers that satisfy certain condition instead of finding solutions, and in case of JiSuGuiMunDo students can inquire out finding eleven numbers that satisfy certain conditions instead of finding solutions. And through this strategy, they know that Suk-Jung Choi style solutions can be obtained variously in one's own way without undergoing many trials and errors.

The study will examine SeongHo Lee Yik(星湖 李瀷)'s thought through his ZhongYongJiShu("中庸疾書"). The book is said that dealing with what was not dealt with in ZhongYongZhanJu("中庸章句") by one's own understanding gained through doubt(懷疑를 통한 自得) is ZhongYongJiShu("中庸疾書"). As with a metaphor of a peach in HouShuo("後說"), SeongHo(星湖) wrote ZhongYongJiShu("中庸疾書") based on his own understanding through skepticism. He divides the chapters of the book using a different method. Chapters 2 to 11 are considered as KongziZhongYong(孔子中庸) that is, quotes of Confucius, and chapters 12 to 30 as explanatory texts that offer explanations of the quotes. Chapter 1 is preface and chapter 33 closing remark. However, a clear explanation is required for the reason why chapter 1 should be preface and chapter 33 should be closing remark. SeongHo(星湖) offers an explanation for the appearance of ZhongYong("中庸") in the title of the book. He indicated that for giving life to the meaning of chapter 1, ZhongHe(中和) should have been used in the place of ZhongYong ("中庸"), but since it was the preface of KongziZhongYong(孔子中庸), Zhong Yong("中庸") was used from KongziZhongYong(孔子中庸). SeongHo(星湖) followed XingJiLi(性卽理) based on the interpretation of chapter 1 and chapter 20. In this way, he followed a Neo-Confucian proposition which is called XingJiLi(性卽理), defining Xing(性). That showed his interpretation was still based on Zhuzi(朱子). According to SeongHo(星湖), ZhongYong("中庸") is mainly on Cheng(誠), and he dealt with Cheng(誠) in ZhongYong("中庸"). Since Cheng(誠) is an important concept in the later part of the book, ZhongYongJiShu("中庸疾書") was focusing on Cheng(誠) for the later part. However, Cheng(誠) was a concept that was not paid much attention than KongziZhongYong(孔子中庸), so it is just a part of explanatory texts, according to SeongHo(星湖).

전력선 통신 시스템을 간략히 살펴보면 송전단과 수전단으로 나누어 볼 수 있다. 송전단은 전력을 송전하기 위한 설비와 신호를 싣고 분리하는 결합회로로 구성되며 수전단은 수전설비와 결합회로로 분리된다. 결합회로는 $BaTiO_3$를 주성분으로 하는 고유전율 및 대용량의 캐패시터로 구성되었다. 이 캐패시터를 변압기 외부에 사용하므로, 직사광선에 의한 온도 변화가 생길 것이며 이 변화에 따라 캐패시턴스 값의 변화가 생길 것이므로 HPF로 사용할 때 캐패시턴스 값의 변화로 주파수에 영향을 줄 것이다. 주위온도에 따른 캐패시턴스의 변화가 HPF의 동작에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 고찰하고자한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 수전단의 10KV이하 배전 선로에 사용되는 Coupling Capacitor의 외부온도를 변화시켜 전기적 특성의 변화를 고찰함으로서, HPF로서의 사용될수 있는지 확인하고자 한다.

Cho Ji-hoon was a leading figure on the discussion of recognition on Han Yong-un, particularly the post-liberation period. During the Japanese colonial era, he addressed Han Yong-un as the representative of national poet, and evaluated Han's poems as the models of rebellious nationalistic poetry. Such evaluation by Cho set the precedent of basic perspectives and methodologies on how to recognize Han Yong-un in the present day. This paper analyzes three studies on Han Yong-un, conducted by Cho ji-hoon. We also examine how Cho created his logic of recognizing Han as a national poet, and his poems as nationalistic poetry. Accordingly, this paper has separated recognitions on poet studies and work studies, and further explored how each recognition has consistency with Cho ji-hoon's historical and literary perception. As a result, the following has been concluded: the basis of Cho ji-hoon's recognition on the life and works of Han Yong-un was premised on Cho's understanding of the world from a standpoint of history of ideas, the concept of nation was regarded as an absolute value that binds disparate ideas together, and the combination of nationalism and poetry has been expressed through the logic of nationalistic poetry and the notion which equalizes the poet to a classical scholar. It was further concluded that such equalizing logic contains some logical contradictions derived from integration between universal rights and national sovereignty, and nation and Buddhism. Therefore, it can be said that other possible interpretations on the role of a poet were not fully discussed, but remain bounded. Last but not the least, this paper critically tries to perceive Cho's recognition on Han Yong-un, and accentuates the necessity of new interpretations of Han's poems, apart from those based on nationalism.

The IGBT(Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) is a power semiconductor device that has gained acceptance among power electronic circuit design engineers for motor drive and Power converter applications. The device-circuit interaction of power insulated gate bipolar transistor for a series-inductor load, both with and without a snubber are, simulated. An analytical model for the transient operation of the IGBT is used in conjunction with the load circuit state equations for the simulations.
