현재까지 유대인들은 전 세계적으로 정치, 경제, 문화 등 여러 분야에서 가장 영향력있는 민족으로 언급되어져 왔다. 이와 같은 이유 때문에 유대인들에 관한 연구들은 경제 생활, 자녀 양육, 가정 생활, 신앙 생활 등 다양한 분야로 확대되어가고 있다. 본 논문은 유대인들에 관한 다양한 연구 분야들 중에서 유대인의 놀이에 관한 것을 다룬다. 놀이는 특정 시대의 의식 구조와 생활 양식을 알아볼 수 있는 좋은 수단이 되기 때문이다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 유대인의 놀이들을 연구 문헌과 인터넷을 사용하여 조사한다. 그리고, 조사된 놀이들의 역할을 기술하고 이를 기능성 게임으로 제작하기 위한 방안을 논한다. 연구 결과, 유대인들에게 있어서 놀이는 1) 역사와 지혜의 전승 도구, 2) 교육적인 메시지를 전달하는 매개체, 3) 공동체 감정 형성의 도구 4) 약속을 학습하는 도구 로서의 역할을 담당한다. 이러한 유대인 놀이들을 기능성 게임을 제작하여 생산하는 경우 사회적으로 긍정적인 학습 효과를 일으킬 수 있다.

Ambroxol is used in COPD and asthma to increase mucociliary clearance and regulate surfactant levels, perhaps through anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory activities. To determine the role and effect of ambroxol in an experimental model of asthma, BALB/c mice were sensitized to ovalbumin (OVA) followed by 3 days of challenge. Airway hyperresponsiveness (AHR), lung cell composition and histology, and cytokine and protein carbonyl levels in bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid were determined. Ambroxol was administered either before the first OVA challenge or was begun after the last allergen challenge. Cytokine production levels from lung mononuclear cells (Lung MNCs) or alveolar macrophages (AM) were also determined. Administration of ambroxol prior to challenge suppressed AHR, airway eosinophilia, goblet cell metaplasia, and reduced inflammation in subepithelial regions. When given after challenge, AHR was suppressed but without effects on eosinophil numbers. Levels of IL-5 and IL-13 in BAL fluid were decreased when the drug was given prior to challenge; when given after challenge, increased levels of IL-10 and IL-12 were detected. Decreased levels of protein carbonyls were detected in BAL fluid following ambroxol treatment after challenge. In vitro, ambroxol increased levels of IL-10, IFN-γ, and IL-12 from Lung MNCs and AM, whereas IL-4, IL-5, and IL-13 production was not altered. Taken together, ambroxol was effective in preventing AHR and airway inflammation through upregulation of Th1 cytokines and protection from oxidative stress in the airways.

The Jews had lives of diaspora for almost 2000 years dispersed all around the world. But they had gotten together and reestablished the nation Israel. The fundamental power of reunification came from the spirit of their through education. The contents of their education are based on the Bible. Among the Bilble, the three books, the Job, the Ecclesiastes and the Proverbs are called the books of liberary works. And the book, the Proverbs written by King Solomon is famous for the teachings of wisdom. It contains ethical instructions, religious advice, wisdom and all the teachings in the way of life. Even though it lacks some elements of vital wits in modern feelings, its rich understanding and teachings of life overwhelm all the western and oriental readers. This thesis studied the meaning of wisdom in the Proverbs and Jewish teachings of it and its need and how to apply it to our practical life today.

Purpose: The aim of the study was to identify risk and protective factors/markers for cervical cancer and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia 3 (CIN3) in Israeli Jewish women in order to settle the discrepancy of low incidence rate of cervical cancer and relatively high incidence rate of CIN3. Materials and Methods: We conducted two case control studies, which examined the association between potential risk and protective factors/markers for cervical cancer or CIN3 using self administered detailed questionnaires. Results: For studying cervical cancer, 40 cases and 40 matched controls were interviewed. In the univariable and multivariable analyses older age, depression or anxiety and ever smoking seemed to act as independent risk factors/markers, while older age at first intercourse was protective. For studying CIN3, 99 cases and 79 controls were interviewed. Multivariable analysis has demonstrated that being born in Israel, depression or anxiety and ever smoking were independent risk factors/markers for CIN3. Conclusions: The risk factors/markers studied, that were associated with cervical cancer or CIN3 among Jewish women in Israel, are similar to those reported in other parts of the world, and do not explain the observed discrepancy of high in-situ cervical cancer rates and low invasive cervical cancer incidence in Israel.

본 논문에서 필자는 1993년 출판된 애나 디비어 스미스의 "거울 속에 반영된 분노"에서 기술된 인종간의 긴장과 갈등을 분석하려고 한다. 이 책은 1991년 뉴욕에서 발생했던 유대인과 흑인간의 충돌을 주요한 소재로 다루고 있는데, 이 사건은 이미 일인극의 형식과 텔레비전 연극시리즈로 방영된 적이 있다. 필자는 스미스의 인터뷰에 응한 많은 인물들이 여전히 홀로코스트와 노예제도의 담론이 지니고 있는 논리를 반복하고 있다는 점에 주목한다. 뉴욕의 크라운 하이츠에서 흑인 공동체와 유대인 공동체는 끔찍한 상실감을 공유하고 있지만 서로의 고통을 이해하려고 하기보다는 자신이 속한 문화, 인종의 집단정체성을 고집한다. 그들의 서사는 자신이 속한 집단이 과거에 경험한 역사적 사건에 수사학적으로 매여 있는 것이다. 필자는 스미스가 "거울 속에 반영된 분노"에서 자기 모순적인 독백들을 병치시킴으로써 노예제도와 홀로코스트 같은 담론들이 여전히 인종적, 민족적 공동체를 지배하고 있다는 사실을 제시한다고 생각한다. 필자의 의도는 유대인 공동체와 흑인 공동체간의 갈등만을 전적으로 조사하는데 있지 않다. 대신, 필자는 유대인 홀로코스트와 흑인 노예경험을 포함한 '홀로코스트 수사학'이 내포하고 있는 비평적, 이론적 담론들의 문제점을 분석하고 그 한계를 극복하려고 한다. 이러한 이해는 '홀로코스트 수사학'이 실패하는 지점을 드러내며 그것이 감추고 있는 폭력성을 제시할 뿐만 아니라 홀로코스트와 노예제도의 경험을 올바로 파악하기 위해서 그들과의 관계를 새롭게 형성하는 것이다. "거울 속에 반영된 분노"는 독자에게 자신의 맹목을 너무 쉽게 노출하는 '홀로코스트' 담론의 자기 모순적인 방식을 거울처럼 비춘다. 독자는 이와 같은 서사의 틈 속에서 과거의 상처가 치유되고 새로운 서사가 창출될 수 있는 가능성을 목격하게 된다.

21세기에 들어와 한국교회는 사회적으로 많은 비난을 받으며, 교회 성장과 선교에 많은 악영향을 끼치고 있는 상황에서 한국교회는 진정한 회복을 위하여 새롭게 거듭나야 한다. 이러한 상황에서 연구자는 유대교 경전 탈무드의 제라임(Zeraim, 농사)을 한국교회의 위기와 문제들을 해결하는 대안으로 설정하여 분석하였다. 이러한 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 탈무드의 출현 배경, 탈무드 제라임의 주요내용, 탈무드 제라임의 기독교교육에 적용방안으로 나누어 분석하였다. 유대교 탈무드 제라임을 통해서 한국교회 문제들을 해결할 수 있는 적용 가능성을 다섯 가지로 제시하였다. 첫째, 축복받는 삶을 위한 기독교교육이다. 둘째, 사회정의·생명·창조보전을 추구하는 기독교교육이다. 셋째, 하나님의 은혜에 감사하는 삶을 위한 기독교교육이다, 넷째, 율법을 깨닫고 그 가르침을 실천하는 기독교교육이다. 다섯째, 통전적 영성을 추구하는 기독교교육이다. 역사 속에서 수많은 고난을 받으면서도 신앙의 정체성을 잃지 않고, 하나님의 말씀인 율법(토라)과 탈무드를 중심으로 통전적 영성을 회복한 유대인들의 신앙과 삶에서 기독교교육의 과제와 방향을 찾아야 한다고 보았다. 이제 한국교회는 그동안 잘못했던 실수들을 과감히 청산하고, 사회적인 비판의 소리를 겸허하게 받아들이고 새롭게 회복할 수 있는 교육으로 나아가야 한다.
