Two-dimensional orthogonal variable spreading codes are presented for multiplexing of forward link in direct sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) multiple antennas system And the results of code generation and simulation of 2 dimensional orthogonal variable spreading factors on Jacket matrices are also be investigated. The bit error rate(BER) performance under a multi-user environment for the additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel demonstrated that the proposed scheme could provide flexible rates and lower correlation values

We prove the stability of a generalized Cauchy functional equation of the form ; $$f(a_1x+a_2y)=b_1f(x)+b_2f(y)+w.$$ That is, we obtain a partial answer for the open problem which was posed by the Th.M Rassias and J. Tabor on the stability for a generalized functional equation.

본 논문에서는 한국어에서 출현하는 일반적인 형태의 문장 패턴을 조사하여 제2 외국어로서 한국어를 배우는 외국인들에게 우선적으로 가르쳐야 할 한국어의 문장 패턴을 검색하는 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이를 위해 지난 10년 동안 조사 구축된 21세기 세종 계획의 결과물에 출현하는 한국어에 적합한 문장 패턴을 조사하는 프로그램을 설계하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the analytical model of the implicit price according to objective and subjective characteristics of housing. The hedonic price regression was used for estimating the implicit price. The subjectives of this study were 1,143 dwellers who live in Seoul metropolitan area. Taejeon, and Jeonju. Satistical analyses were conducted using frequencies, percentiles, mean, and multiple regression. The major findings were as follows: 1. There was a significant difference in the implict price of the apartment between owners and renters. 2. There was a sginificant difference in the implicit price of the apartment among Seoul metropolitan area, Taejeon, and Jeonju. 3. Using a stepwise multiple regression method, the order of variables as they were entered in the model were different between tenure types (owner/renter), and regions(Seoul metroplitan area/Taejeon/Jeonju). 4. The linear model was the most appropriate noe which explained the housing price. 5. Subjective characteristics of housing in Taejeon and Jeonju had an effect on the housing price more than those in Seoul metropolitan area.

It is known that the classical tuning formula for typical PID controllers in general provides unsatisfactory results for industrial plants where the time delay exceeds the dominant lag time. For this reason, alternative strategies have been studied in order to cope with this problem and the most popular scheme is the Smith Predictor(SP). In this paper, the dynamic model of a unit apartment in the district heating system, which is the control process effected by the dead-time, is developed, and the on/off room temperature control method with the SP simulate using Matlab-Simulink. The simulation results show that the SP works effectively in outdoor temperature variation.

In this paper, the design and implementation of a high power(300W) forward converter using a planar transformer is presented. The overall size and volume of the converter is decreased by replacing a planar transformer in stead of using a conventional winding transformer. Due to the decreased size and volume, power density of the applied forward converter is increased. Also, in this paper, the 300W ZVS forward converter with active clamp snubber circuit is compared to the 300W hard switching forward converter.

This paper presents an improved soft switching buck converter using a non-dissipative snubber, which is composed of a tapped inductor, two snubber capacitors and three snubber diodes. The proposed buck converter achieves zero voltage turn-off in the main switch and freewheeling diode. The Proposed Soft Switching buck converter is verified through the simulation, relevant equations, analysis and experimental results.

The authors have developed a reading & writing textbook for engineering students to improve their communication capability, and also analyzed the outcomes that the students accomplished through the Engineering Reading and Writing class. The reading & writing textbook has been organized to be used as a guidebook with which the engineering students can practically solve the problems that they would face continuously after they finish their regular curriculum and when they are employed. The questionnaire survey analysis has been performed in order to evaluate the textbook contents, lecturing, and learning outcomes for the lecturers and students finished the engineering reading and writing classes. Desirable evaluation has been resulted in the broad areas: subject extraction from the readings, logical understanding, summarizing, practical writing, writing principle, etc.

This paper deals with STEM(science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education program scheduled by ICEE (innovation center for engineering education) of Jeonju University and applied to the first-year students of high school in Jeonju. The outline of the program has been expressed, and the response of lecturers and students have been discussed. Students have experienced the various engineering topics with experiments, and had the chance to trigger to think over their majors in the future university.
