B 슬라이스의 압축 효율 향상을 위한 개선된 양방향 대칭 예측 부호화 방법 (Improved Bi-directional Symmetric Prediction Encoding Method for Enhanced Coding Efficiency of B Slices)

  • H.264/AVC의 B 슬라이스의 부호화 효율 향상과 두 개의 움직임벡터를 탐색하는데 소요되는 계산량 감소를 위하여 양방향 대칭(Bi-directional Symmetric) 기법이 개발된 바 있다. 이 기법은, 전방향과 역방향 참조영상 각각에 대하여 움직임 벡터를 구하고 이 두 개를 각각 다 전송하는 종래의 양방향 예측기법과는 달리, 전방향 참조영상에 대해 움직임 벡터를 찾는 동시에 역방향 참조영상에 대한 역방향 움직임 벡터를 전방향 참조영상, 역방향 참조영상, 그리고 현재 영상간의 상대적 거리를 고려한 대칭(Symmetric) 구조로 동시에 계산하여 추정하는 방법이다. 이 기법에 따르면, 전방향 움직임 벡터가 정해지면, 역방향 움직임벡터는 이와 대칭적으로 계산하여 얻어지므로 움직임벡터 추정 복잡도를 반으로 줄이고, 전방향 움직임벡터만을 전송하도록 하여 부호화할 움직임벡터의 양도 줄일 수 있다. 그러나 이 방법은 항상 전방향 움직임 벡터를 기준으로 역방향 움직임 벡터를 계산하여 얻다 보니, 장면전환등의 경우 오히려 역방향 움직임벡터를 기준으로 전방향 움직임벡터를 추산하는 것이 더욱 효율적인 경우도 있다. 본 논문에서는 전방향 참조영상에 대한 움직임 벡터를 중심으로 역방향 움직임 예측벡터를 추정하는 방법을 일반화시켜, 역방향 움직임 벡터를 중심으로 전방향 움직임 벡터를 추산하여 사용하는 방법을 제안하고 아울러 기존 방법과 제안 방법을 율왜곡 관점에서 최적으로 선택하여 사용하는 방법을 제안한다.

  • 1. The etiological causes of Pain in Shoulder and Arm based on literatures of Oriental medicine are attack of wind-heat on the lung, wind cold, damp-heat struggle between the vital energy and pathogenic factor and six pathogenic factors And all these causes are the conception of blockage syndrome, $Q_1$ and blood stagnating in meridian system. 2. Symptoms of Pain in Shoulder and Arm based on literatures of Oriental medicine are shoulder pain, restriction of activity and radiating pain. 3. The treatments of Pain in Shoulder and Arm based on literatures of Oriental medicine are mainly composed of both medical therapy for $B_1$ syndrome due to pathogenic wind, deficiency of both $Q_1$ and blood, consumption of the liver and the spleen, and also acupuncture and moxibustion treatment by selection of acupoint. And those treatments are for treating etiology. And also there are treatments using the meridian system and Twelve Muscle Region and Ashihyeol for the purpose of treating the symptoms. 4. Acupoints such as Gyun-u, Gyun-jung, Goi-ji, Ju-ryo and Bi-no are most used in treating shoulder and arm pain based on based on literatures of Oriental medicine.

설침요법(舌鍼療法)에 대한 문헌적(文獻的) 고찰(考察) (Bibliographic Study on the Tongue-Acupunccture Therapy)

  • Based on recent 27 document, reported in Huang Ti Nei Ching, the following results concering the tongue and Tongue-acupuncture were obtained: 1. It was observed that the tongue has direct or indirect connection with the Heart meridian, the Liver meridian, the Spleen meridian, the Kidney meridian, the Triple energizer meridian and the Stomach meridian. 2. The Tongue-acupunccture, needlingon tongue, is one of new acupunctures treating general disorder and 31 acu-points have been found; 17 points on the upper part and 14 points on the lower part of the tongue. 3. The Tongue-acupuncture is employed by dividing the tongue into threeregions; Sangcho area(下焦穴), Jungcho area(中焦穴) and Hacho area(下焦穴). Each region cures its own corresponding symptoms. 4. The upper part of the tongue is divided into 4 regions by the sidelines along with Chuy Cheon(聚泉), So Jang Hyul(小腸穴) and Dae Jang Hyul(大腸穴). Sangcho area(上焦穴) includes Sim Hyul(心穴), Pye Hyul(肺穴), Sang Gi Hyul(上肢穴) and Jungcho area(中焦穴) includes Ui Hyul(胃穴), Bi Hyul(脾穴), Dam Hyul(膽穴) and Hacho area(下焦穴) includes Gan Hyul(肝穴), Bang Kwang Hyul(膀胱), Sin Hyul(腎穴) and the inner region includes Yim Hyul(陰穴), Ha Gi Hyul(下肢穴), on The lower part of the tongue, there are aec Hyul(額穴), Mok Hyul(目穴), Bi Hyul(鼻穴), I Hyul(耳穴), In Hu Hyul(咽喉穴) in contrast with the face above the center of the tongue as well as Gi Maek Hyul(支脈穴), Hae Chun Hyul(海泉), Gyum Gin Ok Aek(金津玉液), Seol Ha Hyul(舌下穴), Seol Gu(舌柱), Joa Chun Hyul(佐泉穴), Sin Gyun Hyul(神根穴), Jung Gu(中矩), Aek Bang Hyul(液旁穴). 5. The Tongue-acupuncture can be applied to the disease internal medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, gynecology, musculoskeletal system, symptomatology.

  • Objectives: The most common symptom of adenomyosis is dysmenorrhea and menorrhagia. Therefore, final treatment of this disease is hysterectomy. If dysmenorrhea and menorrhagia can be controlled, It doesn't need the surgical treatment. so, this case study was designed to evaluate the effect of Gamiseokhong-jeon on dysmenorrhea, menorrhagia due to adenomyosis. Methods: A 45-year-old female patient who was diagnosed with adenomyosis has been troubled by dysmenorrhea and menorrhagia. She was taken Korean herbal medicine(Gamiseokhong-jeon gamibang) about 3 months. Results: During this treatment period, dysmenorrhea and menorrhagia were relieved. Also after all treatment, the effect has been continuing. Conclusions: Gamiseokhong-jeon gamibang relieve dysmenorrhea and menorrhagia due to adenomyosis.

  • 본 논문에서는 RF센서 위성시스템용 데이터 전송 컬러게이트 혼 안테나를 설계하고 복사 특성을 확인하였다. 설계된 안테나는 8 ~ 8.4 GHz 에서 가장 높은 이득을 약 ${\pm}60^{\circ}$에서 형성하는 복사패턴을 갖도록 설계 제작하고 복사특성을 측정하였다. 설계된 안테나는 반사손실은 -15 dB 이하, 약 ${\pm}60^{\circ}$에서 이득은 5 dBi 이상으로 나타났다. 측정결과로부터 설계된 안테나는 RF센서 위성시스템용 데이터 전송 안테나로 사용될 수 있는 특성을 갖는 안테나로 확인되었다.

Kinetic Study on the Enzymatic Production of D-Alanine from D-Aspartic Acid

  • An enzymatic reaction for the production of D-alanine from D-aspartic acid and pyruvate as substrates by a thermostable D-amino acid aminotransferase (D-AAT) was investigated at various conditions In the temperature range of 40-70$\^{C}$ and pH range of 6.0-9.5. The D-AAT was produced with recombinant E. coli BL21, which hosted the chimeric plasmid pTLK2 harboring the D-AAT from the novel thermophilic Bacillus sp. LK-2. The enzyme reaction was shown to follow the Ping Pong Bi Bi mechanism. The K$\_$m/ values for D-aspartic acid and pyruvate were 4.38 mar and 0.72 mM, respectively. It was observed that competitive inhibition by D-alanine, the product of this reaction, was evident with the inhibition constant K$\_$i/ value of 0.1 mM. A unique feature of this reaction scheme is that the decorboxylation of oxaloacetic acid, one of the products, spontaneously produces pyruvate. Therefore, only a catalytic amount of pyruvate is necessary for the enzyme conversion reaction to proceed. A typical time-course kinetic study skewed that D-alanine up to 88 mM could be produced from 100 mM of D-aspartic acid with a molar yield of 1.0.

Development and Verification Test of a Bi-propellant Thruster Using Hydrogen Peroxide and Kerosene

  • This paper describes development procedure and verification test results of a bi-propellant thruster using hydrogen peroxide and kerosene. The design thrust of the thruster is about 500 N and six swirl type coaxial injectors were used. The passage type manifolds were employed for the injector head to reduce the response time. The passage was designed to minimize stagnation points and recirculation region to ensure uniform flow distribution and sufficient cooling performance through flow analysis using Fluent. A catalytic igniter using hydrogen peroxide was installed at the center of the injector head. The propellant feeding and spray characteristics were confirmed by hydraulic tests. Combustion tests were performed on design and off-design points to analyze combustion characteristics under various mixture ratio conditions. The combustion test results show that combustion efficiency was over 95 % and chamber pressure fluctuation were less than 1.5 % under all test conditions.

  • 본 논문에서는 H-형 커플링 슬롯을 가진 광대역 이중 편파 마이크로스트립 안테나를 제안하였다. 제안된 안테나는 통신사업자들이 경쟁적으로 공공장소에 구축하고 있는 hot-spot zone과 같은 제한된 장소에서 많은 통신 단말기가 동시에 사용되면 상호 간섭이나 다중경로 페이딩에 의한 전송품질의 열화 발생을 방지할 수 있다. 설계된 안테나는 2.7GHz 이하의 주파수 대역에서 33.98%의 임피던스 대역폭($SWR{\leq}2$)과 8.58 dBi (at 2.11 GHz)의 최대 이득을 갖는 것을 측정결과를 통하여 확인하였다. 제안된 안테나는 단순한 구조로 다중 주파수 대역을 수용할 수 있으며 다양한 상업적인 적용이 가능하도록 대량생산의 장점을 갖는다.

  • 1.5 kA class HTS current leads for a SMES magnet, which are connected to a conventional vapor cooled copper leads, were designed. The HTS leads are composed of Bi-2223/Ag-Au tapes and a stainless stell tube. The estimated critical current of the lead is about 1.6 kA at 77.3 K and in a self magnetic field, and the heat input to the liquid helium from the cold end of the 35 cm lead is 0.4 W/lead. It has been made clear that the heat input decreases with increase of the lead length and decrease of the warm end temperature and Ag-Au/SC ratio.

  • In this study, a parallel performance of CUPID-code has been investigated for both Ethernet and Infiniband network system to examine the effect of cache memory and network-speed. Bi-conjugate gradient solver of CUPID-code has been parallelised by using domain decomposition method and message passing interface (MPI). It is shown that the parallel performance of Ethernet-network system is worse than that of Infiniband-network system due to the slow network-speed and a small cache memory. It is also found that the parallel performance of each system deteriorates for a small problem due to the communication overhead, but the performance of Infiniband-network system is better than Ethernet-network system due to a much faster network-speed. For a large problem, the parallel performance depends less on network system.
