A Case Report of Insomnia Improved by Jawon(Ziuan)'s Purgative Action (자원(紫圓)의 사하(瀉下)작용을 이용하여 호전된 불면 환자 치험 1례)

  • Objectives : This study was designed to report the effect of Jawon(Ziuan)'s purgative action for insomnia. Methods : A 60 year-old male patient has been suffered from insomnia for 2 years and has been on taking sleeping tablets during about a year and a half. We administered Sihogayonggolmoryeo-tang because we thougt that the disease was So-Yang-Bing Li Jeung. And Jawon was added for quick improvement. Results : 1. The score of PSQI(Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index) decreased from 18 to 16 after the patient tooks Sihogayonggolmoryeo-tang. 2. After 23 days, the patient tooks Sihogayonggolmoryeo-tang with Jawon at the same time. With the purgative action with Jawon appearing, the score of PSQI decreased from 16 to 4 extremely and accompanying symptoms were also improved. Conclusions : In this case, for the patient taking Sihogayonggolmoryeo-tang with Jawon at the same time is far more effective than only doing Sihogayonggolmoryeo-tang. The result was more improved with appearing the effect of purgative action.

  • 유비쿼터스 환경에 대한 관심과 휴대용 컴퓨팅 기기의 보급으로 가까운 미래의 사람들은 언제 어디서나 네트워크를 통해 데이터 접근이 가능하게 될 것이다. 특히 영화나 음악과 같은 멀티미디어 데이터의 폭발적인 증가로 인해 확장성 있는 네트워크 스토리지 시스템의 필요성이 부각되고 있다. SAN(Storage Area Network)은 높은 확장성과 빠른 속도를 제공하여 엔터프라이즈 환경에 적합한 스토리지 네트워크 시스템이다. 최근에 SAN 환경은 SCSI Architecture Model(SAM)의 표준으로 채택된 iSCSI를 이용한 IP기반의 SAN으로 옳겨가고 있다. 본 논문에서는 iSCSI 기반의 IP SAN환경에서 서비스 클라이언트가 증가함에 따라 스토리지 서버의 부하가 커지는 문제를 해결하기 위해 스토리지 디바이스에서 클라이언트로 데이터를 직접 전송하는 방안을 제안한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 비콘을 스캔하기 위한 고정된 하나의 수신기로 실내 위치를 파악할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다. 비콘의 위치를 파악하기 위해 센서를 추가하고 와이파이를 이용해 사용자의 시스템 이용 범위를 확장시켰다. 또한 추가된 센서를 이용해 위치를 추적하는 알고리즘을 구현하였다. 개발된 어플리케이션을 통해 이용자 2 (User 2)가 이용자 1 (User 1)의 위치를 모니터링 할 수 있다.

  • 최근 국가연구개발사업은 개방형 연구환경으로 변화되어지고 있다. 이러한 변화는 연구개발 자원 및 시간 절감, R&D 투자효과 증대 등 긍정적인 효과를 동반하지만 연구 수행 과정, 연구성과물 유출과 같은 역기능이 발생하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 연구환경 변화에 따른 연구성과물 유출 가능성을 줄이기 위해서 자체적으로 보안관리 및 평가를 할 수 있는 연구보안 수준측정 모형을 설계하고자 한다. 이는 연구기관의 보안 수준 파악과 향상을 위해 유용하게 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

Examining the Residential Patterns of Urban Immigrants in Seoul Metropolitan Area

  • This paper measures and maps multi-dimensional residential segregation of immigrants in Seoul metropolitan area at city/county/district level as well as town level, thereby adding to our understanding of the urban structure and its spatial distribution impacted by immigration. The perspective offered here focuses on the segregation spurred by transnational migrants and their urban settlement. By drawing population data for 79 city/county/district administrative units from the Korea Immigration Service, residential segregation of immigrants in Seoul metropolitan area is measured based on Massey & Denton's four segregation indices: evenness, exposure, concentration and clustering. The empirical findings suggest that Seoul metropolitan area is highly segregated and the areas showing hyper-segregation appear in Seoul city and Gyeonggi province. As immigrants are foreseen to continue to increase in the future, this research contributes both empirically and theoretically to preliminary research on spatial segregation of immigrants by showing how ethnic places are segregated spatially through ethnic networks that support the geographic concentration of minority groups.

  • A sensitive method for the quantitation of oxandrolone in urine was developed using GC/MS. After oral administration of 10mg oxandrolone, oxandrolone excreted in urine as unchanged form was extracted in ether and derivatized to its O-TMS. Oxandrolone excreted in urine as glucuronide conjugated form was extracted after enzymatic hydrolysis and derivatized to its O-TMS. The amounts of oxandrolone-O-TMS was measured in GC/MS with selected ion monitoring. Calusterone, a structurally similar anabolic steroid, was employed as internal standard.

Performance Analysis of an Estimated Closeness Centrality Ranking Algorithm in Large-Scale Workflow-supported Social Networks (대규모 워크플로우 소셜 네트워크의 추정 근접 중심도 랭킹 알고리즘 성능 분석)

  • This paper implements an estimated closeness centrality ranking algorithm in large-scale workflow-supported social networks and performance analyzes of the algorithm. Existing algorithm has a time complexity problem which is increasing performance time by network size. This problem also causes ranking process in large-scale workflow-supported social networks. To solve such problems, this paper conducts comparison analysis on the existing algorithm and estimated results by applying estimated-driven RankCCWSSN(Rank Closeness Centrality Workflow-supported Social Network). The RankCCWSSN algorithm proved its time-efficiency in a procedure about 50% decrease.
