The Studies on the Fabrication and Properties of Friction Materials toy Aluminium Alloy Disk (알루미늄 합금 디스크용 마찰재의 제조 및 그 특성에 관한 연구)

  • This article deals with the manufacture and test results of asbestos-free friction material for Aluminium at toy disk. In order to obtain optimum formulation, various formulations of fibres, matrix, modifiers, fillers, etc were designed and evaluated. The constant friction and brake dynamometer tests were performed to know weak and strong point for each friction material. The C21 formulation of various tested formulations exhibited superior friction constant(0.38∼38), fade rate (18%) by JASO C406 test mode and maximum wear 1.6 mm. disc wear 0.08 mm by JASO C427 test mode. The surface morphology of AL alloy disk(before and after test) was observed by Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM) and Image Analyzer.

A Study on Printed Hangeul Recognition with Dynamic Jaso Segmentation and Neural Network (동적자소분할과 신경망을 이용한 인쇄체 한글 문자인식기에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we present a method for dynamic Jaso segmentation and Hangeul recognition using neural network. It uses the feature vector which is extracted from the mesh depending on the segmentation result. At first, each character is converted to 256 dimension feature vector by four direction contributivity and $8\times8$ mesh. And then, the character is classified into 6 class by neural network and is segmented into Jaso using the classification result the statistic vowel location information and the structural information. After Jaso segmentation, Hanguel recognition using neural network is performed. We experiment on four font of which three fonts are used for training the neural net and the rest is used of testing. Each font has the 2350 characters which are comprised in KS C 5601. The overall recognition rates for the training data and the testing data are 97,4% and 94&% respectively. This result shows the effectivness of proposed method.

Variation of Quantitative Charactes and Chemical Components on Local Collections of Perilla frutescens (수집종 자소의 주요 양적형질의 변이와 화학성분 함량)

  • Followings are resulted through the analysis of the maln characters and the leaf ingredients, which is on the purpose of getting the basic materials to improve jaso and increase its production.Of the introduced varieties, Jukyeubjaso-stem length is 180cm, ear length is 37cm, No. of branches ofstem is 27, leaf length Is 16cm, leaf width Is 15cm-has better character than any other. Gurye local-stem length is 179cm, ear length is 38cm-is taken to be the best in the Geo-ecotypic.In the yield of leaf and seed, JukyeubJaso Is 727kg/10a, the greatest of all. In the leaf softness, allthe Inirorluced varieties are about 3.5 degrees, the Geo-ecotypic, about 2. The qualify of the introducedvat'ieties is better· than that of the Geo-ecotypic. Estimating on the chemical analysis of leaf,Jukyeubjaso has Protein 21.84%, Total carbohydrate 7.91%, Fe 126ppm, and Gurye lacal has Protein21.7 a, Total carbohydrate 8.4%, Fe 148ppm, expressing the highest. In correlation coefficients of leafchemical components, between protein and Total carbohydrate, Protein and Mn, protein and Fe, Pro-tein and Cu all the sorts show the positive correlation. Among them the Geo-ccoyplcs show the hlghestsignificance.

A Study on Effective Processing of Hangul for JBIG2 Coding (JBIG2 부호화에서의 한글의 효율적 처리에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we propose a method to improve JBIG2 compression ratio which can be applied to Hangul text. Hangul character is composed of a few symbols which is called JASO, which needs inevitable increase of position information to be transmitted. To reduce this disadvantage, we have proposed an algorithm that generate aggregated symbol in combination of JASO symbols. Proposed algorithm shows better performance in Huffman coding than in arithmetic coding. In lossless coding, proposed algorithm showed 4.5∼16.7(%) improvement for Huffman coding and 2.9∼10.4(%) improvement for arithmetic coding. In lossy coding, proposed algorithm showed 3.7∼17.0(%) improvement for Huffman coding and 2.1∼10.5(%) improvement for arithmetic coding.

Test of Superoxide Dismutase Characteristics and Antioxidant Activity in Perilla Leaves (들깨잎에 함유된 Superoxide Dismutase의 특성 및 항산화 활성 검정)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the superoxide dismutase (SOD) characteristics and antioxidant activity by nonenzymatic(Fe$^{2+}$/Ascorbate) and Fe$^{3+}$-ADP/NADPH method in perilla(Perilla frutescens var. japonica Hara.) and jaso(Perilla frutescens Briton var. acuta Kudo.) leaves. The characteristics were evaluated by the nitro blue tetrazolium reduction method. Perilla leaves contained three or four major SODs depending on the varieties. The inhibitor test indicated that the Perilla leaves contained two Cu /ZnSODs and one or two FeSODs, but Jaso leaves have only Cu/ZnSOD. However, no varietal differences were detected in the Cu /ZnSOD isozyme patterns. FeSODs, however, showed different varietal isozyme patterns through the different combinations of the two FeSOD isozymes. Among MeOH extractes, "mil yang 2" showed very strong antioxidant activity. Relatively large differences in the levels of SOD and antioxidant activity detected in the Perilla varietites. There was significantly different in the comparison between perilla leaves and red jaso leaves.s.etween perilla leaves and red jaso leaves.

  • 본 논문에서는 새로은 자소분리 기법을 이용한 필기체 한글인식 시스템을 제안하였다. 새로운 자소분리 기법에는 국소영역 투영기법과 국소영역 Blob Coloring 기법이 포함되어 있다. 한극 각 자소의 특징들을 이용하여 Backpropagaton 알고리듬으로 학습시켰고 인식과정에서 관심영역 탐색기법이 이용되었다. 4명의 필기자가 작성한 1600자의 한글을 학습시키고 학습되지 않은 밝기 영상의 문서에 대한 인식을 시도한 결과 95%의 인식률을 얻었다.

  • this paper proposes a filter design that makes to be satisfied EMC spec. in reliability test of analogue switch for electronic equipment and air conditioning load unit. A designed electromagnetic wave filter was applied to minimize an mutual interference and surrounding environment and improve the product's quality being satisfied to EMC standard. By simulation, using a spectrum analyzer at the 30MHz~1GHz band, ISO/JASO standard frequency range, and simplified EMI chamber, energy distribution of a specific frequency band was analyzed and the capacity of the element which composed the filter was determined in order to implement the most suitable electromagnetic wave filter.In fact, it was certificated that noise decrease by filter addition to the analogue switch for electronic equipment and air conditioning load unit in Certification Authority, and confirmed that the unit is carried out a normal action without electromagnetic wave interference.

  • In this paper, the spelling errors which are made by human being in the real word processors are collected and analyzed. Based on these data, we make a prototype which can perform spell aid function providing candidate words. The number of candidate characters are minimized by the frequency of Jaso and character, so the number of candidate words could be minimized. The average number of candidate words presented are 3.2 to 8, and 62.1 % to 84.1% of the correct words are presented in the candidate words.

  • In the most studies of Korean character recognition so far, they first classify the characters to 6 types according to their structures and then recognize the characters by identifying their basic components named $'$jaso.$'$ In the study, we propose a method which recognizes the characters without using structure types and is applied to reading documents containing both Korean and Chinese characters. We first classify Korean and Chinese characters by using a modified SOFM model. Then we recognize the characters in each class by using an APC neural network which has the advantage of fast leaning speed and the capablity of additive learning. An experimental result demonstrated the usefulness of the approach with the recognition rate of $\%.$\%.
