The objective of this study was two fold: firstly, we analyzed how the Geoparks have been run since the first one had been designated on December 31th, 2015. We then investigated how visitors' geographical and geological recognitions on the parks have changes. We visited geosites and investigated how well these sites accorded with the conditions for running Geoparks. In addition, scenery pictures and hashtags uploaded in Instagram between 2015 and 2016 were collected in order to analyze visitors preferences on the geosites along the, Hantan Imjingang River Geopark. Results showed that the hotspots were Bidulginang Waterall, Art Valley, and Jaein Waterfall. Compared to the ratio of geographical and geological references in 2015, the hashtags in all of these three geosites increased. The increases were as much as 3% in Bidulginang Falls, 0.6% in Art Valley, and 5% in Jaein Falls. In labelling the geographical and geological terms in Bidulginang Falls and Jaein Falls, the most frequently mentioned hashtags was "columnar joint", followed by "natural monument", "Geopark", and "basalt canyon". This study includes the study of visitors recognition which is one of the most important, but somehow neglected factor for the geopark's management.

Those who were from Jaeincheon and Jaein line entertainers played great roles during transition period from traditional society to modern society, and even at present the dances of them are the representative traditional dances of Korea and the matrix of Korean originality. Nevertheless, Korea dance field has given little importance to these dances, but too much importance to Gibang dance in studying traditional dances, which causes the studies on Jaein line danced to be superficial or separate. Therefore, the aims of this article are to analyze the dances of Jaein line by Han Seong-jun, who was representative for the dances, and to appraise the historical value of them. Han Seong-jun(1874-1942) was the most influential dummer and dancer of his day in Japanese colonial times, and has been recognized as one of the masters of traditional dances. He established autonomy of traditional dances by reorganizing, collecting and stage-formalizing the dances, and systemized transmitting ways for various folk dances including a Buddhist dance, which made it possiblefor those dances to be traditional dances of Korea and the bases for creative dances. The values of Jaein line dances, which were transmitted through Han, are the following: First, the dances have been designated as national or regional intangible cultural assets, and, as the representative traditional arts, we proudly show them to the world. Second, the dances, as one of the genres of Korean dances, are the subjects of younger scholars' studies. Third, the dances become one of the representative examples of revivals of traditional dances, which tend to be extinct during modernization times, and contribute to establishing national identity and subjectivity. In addition, they contribute to discovering and transmitting other traditional dances. Fourth, the dances enable many dancers to make association, that is, Association for Preservation of Traditional Dances,for the transmitting the dances, and to distribute the dances and get many dancers to transmit the dances. Furthermore, as new performance repertories, they give another pleasure to the audience. In addition to the above, as a base for expansion of Korean creative dances, Han's dances have other values such as the following: First, in searching for a new methodology for creation, he played an important role in rediscovering the foundation in the tradition, and tried to discover nationalidentity by employing the traditional dances for expression of theme. Second, he contributed to drastically dissolving the genres by expanding the gesture language from motion factors of traditional dances, which can be compared to the modern dance. Third, he tried new challenging approaches to re-create the tradition, and contributed to pursuing the simple elements of our traditional dances as traditional aesthetics. While the dances of Jaein line have such values as the above, there are also some problems around the dances, such as the confusion in the process of transmission resulted from different transmission forms and transmitters, which we must no longer leave as it is. Furthermore, it is urgent that the rest of Jaein line dances be recovered and designated as intangible cultural assets for the sound transmission of the traditional dances.

This study aims to analyze geomorphologically Jaein Falls in Hantangang Lava Plateau for the landform structure, landform classification, falls dissection and recession. The height and recession length of the Falls are approximately 18m and 340m. after dissection valley arrive at area of the Jijangbong Volcanic Rock Complex of Mesozoic era, the fall will disappear. The structure of the dissection valley shows totally well vertical columnar joint near falls and plunge pool, colluvial talus deposits toward lower reach by the freezing-thawing and wet-dry activities, and alluvial cone and delta in estuary to Hantangang River. The Falls' age date and recession rate in the valley maybe relate to the age of the lava plateau. The estimated recession rate of the fall should be 8.75m/ka to 2.3m/ka, depending on the age 500ka to 40ka in lava plateau.

태양전지는 태양광을 직접 전기로 변환하는 소자로서, 무공해 신재생 에너지로 각광받고 있다. 이러한 태양전지의 상용화를 위하여 발전효율과 경제성을 높이기 위한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있으며, 특히 도심형 건물의 외장재를 태양전지로 활용하는 건물통합형 태양광 발전 (BIPV : building integrated photovoltaics)등에 대한 연구가 활발하다. 따라서, 본 조사 연구에서는 태양전지 기판소재의 요구특성을 조사하고, BIPV용으로 적용 가능한 유연한 금속기판의 개발을 위한 기술적 방법을 제시하고자 하였다. 현재 태양전지의 기판은 비정질 혹은 결정질 실리콘 기판과 라임유리 기판이 주로 사용되고 있으며, 특수용도로 고가의 폴리이미드 고분자 필름이 사용되고 있다. 그러나 BIPV의 다양한 응용을 위해서는 저가의 유연한 기판이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 스테인레스 금속박판은 인성 및 강도가 우수하고, 유연하여 다양한 형태로 가공이 가능하며, 가격이 저렴하고, 다양한 표면개질기술이 적용될 수 있다.

Recently, Hashtag is widely used in SNS like Facebook, Twitter and personal blogs. However, the efficiency of tag search system is poor due to the indiscriminate use of hashtags. To enhance the accuracy of tag search system, we proposed a tag search system using the keyword extraction and similarity evaluation. The experimental results show that the proposed system provides the higher accuracy on tag search results.

It is general knowledge that knee joint pain can be attributed to trauma and degenerative change around the knee joint. However most patients who have suffered from pain or limited range of motion of the knee joint show no definite pathology on X-ray or laboratory examination. We examined 242 patients with knee joint pain and found compression or entrapment of the articular nerve fiber by the tissue around the knee joint resulted in pain in almost all cases. Conclusion: by relieving the compression of the articular nerve fiber with just physical therapy and LASER stimulation on the identified trigger points, in conjunction with NSAIDs, muscle relaxants, were found to be very effective in the treatment of knee joint pain.

Diesel engine injector is used for spraying the fuel into the cylinder chamber. Complex phenomenon like cavitation occurs from small scale domain, highly pressurized condition and rapid injection. Flow inside the nozzle affects the whole engine performance including combustion and exhaust, therefore understanding the flow inside the injector nozzle is very important. In this paper, cylindrical and convergent-divergent nozzles are suggested for nozzle types and their influences on nozzle internal flow and nozzle outlet characteristics will be analyzed by changing their outlet diameters.

We examine the effects of the sea surface temperature (SST) distribution on heavy snowfall over the Yellow Sea using high-resolution SST products and WRF (Weather Research and Forecasting) model simulations in 30 December 2010. First, we evaluate the model by comparing the simulated and observed fresh snowfall over the Korean peninsula (Ho-Nam province). The comparison shows that the model reproduces the distributions and magnitudes of the observed snowfall. We then conduct sensitivity model simulations where SST perturbations by ${\pm}1.1^{\circ}C$ relative to baseline SST values (averaged SST for $5{\sim}15^{\circ}C$) are uniformly specified over the region of interest. Results show that ${\pm}1.1^{\circ}C$ SST perturbation simulations result in changes of air temperature by $+0.37/-0.38^{\circ}C$, and by ${\pm}0.31^{\circ}C$ hPa for sea level pressure, respectively, relative to the baseline simulation. Atmospheric responses to SST perturbations are found to be relatively linear. The changes in SST appear to perturb precipitation variability accounting for 10% of snow and graupel, and 18% of snowfall over the Yellow Sea and Ho- Nam province, respectively. We find that anomalies of air temperature, pressure, and hydrometeors due to SST perturbation propagate to the upper part of cloud top up to 500 hPa and show symmetric responses with respect to SST changes.

The possibility of establishing the committee was increased because of the pledge of the President Moon Jaein for the national education committee. Thus, the purpose of this study was to discuss about its necessity and the meaning of legislation. The study method was to analyze existing studies (concept establishment, overseas cases, and legal research), media materials, and internet materials. It also suggested positive and negative functions in establishing the national education committee. Its positive functions are; first, stability of policy, second, political neutrality, third, seeking the nature of education, and fourth, improvement of possibility. Negative functions are; first, establishing the committee could be poison, second, argument in position and role, third, issue of agreement, and fourth, populism policy oriented.

Cell reprogramming has been considered a powerful technique in the regenerative medicine field. In addition to diverse its strengths, cell reprogramming technology also has several drawbacks generated during the process of reprogramming. Telomere shortening caused by the cell reprogramming process impedes the efficiency of cell reprogramming. Transcription factors used for reprogramming alter genomic contents and result in genetic mutations. Additionally, defective mitochondria functioning such as excessive mitochondrial fission leads to the limitation of pluripotency and ultimately reduces the efficiency of reprogramming. These problems including genomic instability and impaired mitochondrial dynamics should be resolved to apply cell reprograming in clinical research and to address efficiency and safety concerns. Sirtuin (NAD+-dependent histone deacetylase) has been known to control the chromatin state of the telomere and influence mitochondria function in cells. Recently, several studies reported that Sirtuins could control for genomic instability in cell reprogramming. Here, we review recent findings regarding the role of Sirtuins in cell reprogramming. And we propose that the manipulation of Sirtuins may improve defects that result from the steps of cell reprogramming.
