The Design of Proxy Peer Algorithm based on DHT for Effective Resource Searching on JXTA Network Environments (JXTA 네트워크 환경에서 효율적인 자원 검색을 위한 DHT 기반프락시 피어 알고리즘 설계)

  • Searching distributed resources efficiently is very important in distributed computing environments like P2P. But distributed resource searching may have system overheads and take a lot of time in proportion to the searching number, because distributed resource searching has to circuit many peers for searching information. In this paper, we design a proxy peer algorithm based on DHT(Distributed Hash Table) for efficient distributed resource searching in JXTA network environments. By containing the rendezvous information in proxy peer and searching a rendezvous peer firstly which has higher hit ratio, we can reduce the searching number and minimize system overheads.

  • Protein structure comparison is a task that requires a lot of computing resources because many atoms in proteins need to be processed. To address the issue, Grid computing environment has been employed for processing time-consuming jobs in a distributed manner. However, controling the Grid computing environment may not be easy for non-experts. In this paper, we present a JXTA-based system for protein structure comparison that can be easily controled by non-experts. To search proteins similar to a query protein, the geometric hashing algorithm that consists of preprocessing and recognition was employed. Experimental results indicate that the system can find the correct protein structure for a given query protein structure and the proposed system can be easily extended to solve the protein docking problem. It is expected that the proposed system can be useful for non-experts, especially users who do not have sophisticated knowledge of distributed systems in general such as college students who major in biology or chemistry.

  • This Paper presents an SOA framework that enables smooth provision of service to ordinary users while also replacing the current B2B environment-oriented SOA framework. To that end, the proposed SOA will be reviewed for its concept, characteristics, and components. Key to its design is that it will be implemented using the prospective next-generation P2P platform known as JXTA. The proposed framework includes all the basic functions of other SOA frameworks, and will make Provision and use of services more easy compared with other frameworks. Under this service, data and applications controlling these data are provided in an enabling format, thereby addressing security problems. Another advantage of this proposed framework is that each peer is able to play all roles of a service provider, service client, and service registry.

  • In the traditional Server/Client architecture, the client connects to the known servers and gets information through web searching. However, nowadays, diverse internet devices providing services (get) working on internet easily. The update interval of the services or information provided by the devices is relatively short. And also they tend to be both a server and a client. In this situation, the way of the traditional information searching such as web searching is not appropriate. In this paper we propose a service push model, where it pushes its service profiles to all the other network devices by broadcasting them on the network. When a device connects to the network newly, it can get all service profiles in the network and it gets service profiles newly pushed by service providers in prompt. Also it can call any service among the service profiles within itself. We implemented a prototype system for the service push model on the JXTA platform based on P2P network. Also we measured the service profile pushing delay, the service discovery time, and the response time of service execution by running test applications written on the prototype system.

  • 전자상거래 환경에서 기업들은 고객들과 자신의 시스템을 통합하여 확장하려고 노력하고 있다. 이러한 통합은 반드시 상호작용성 측면에서 고려되어야 만다. 즉 XML을 이용한 웹 서비스 측면에서 메세징 서비스가 적용되어야만 의미 시는 솔루션을 얻을 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 P2P 네트워크 영역과 같은 분산 컴퓨팅 문제를 해결할 수 있는 JXTA 기법을 활용하여 효율적인 메세징이 가능한 전자상거래 프레임워크를 제안한다. 특히 규칙 기반 메세징 기법을 이용하여 변화에 적절히 대응할 수 있도록 한다. 또한 제시하는 프레임워크에서는 현재 인터넷 비즈니스 관련 업계 표준으로 각광받고 있는 ebXML과의 연계방안을 즉시한다.

  • 최근 MP3 저작권에 대한 찬반 논란이 계속 되면서, 기존의 클라이언트-서버가 아닌 Peer-To-Peer(P2P) 기반의 데이터 검색 시스템에 관한 여러 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 하지만. 검색 방법에 있어서는 단순히 파일이름을 이용한 데이터 검색 방법이 주류를 이루고 있는데 본 논문에서는 검색을 위한 문서 정보를 XML 형태로 저장하고, 구조적인 검색을 용이하게 하기 위해 DOM(Document Object Model)을 이용하여 XML 문서를 트리 형태로 구성한 후 P2P 네트워킹 플랫폼인 JXTA를 기반으로 XPath 질의를 수행함으로써 P2P 네트워크 기반에서 구조적 검색이 가능한 시스템을 구현하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 유무선 통합 망에서 미디어 파일과 같은 자원들을 효율적으로 공유하기 위해, 이동 에이전트 기능을 사용하여 P2P 플랫폼을 설계하였다. 현재 대다수의 P2P 애플리케이션들은 유선망을 기반으로, 서로 다른 API를 사용하고 있어, 플랫폼에 종속적이며, 다양한 네트워크 환경과 디바이스 등을 포함하지 않는다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 오픈 소스 프로젝트인 썬의 JXTA를 이용하여 전체 시스템을 설계하였으며, 기존의 JXTA 프로토콜의 문제점을 모바일 에이전트를 이용해 개선하고자 한다.

A Locality based Resource Management Scheme for Hierarchical P2P Overlay Network in Ubiquitous Computing (계층적 P2P에서의 근거리 기반 효율적 자원관리 기법)

  • Many peer-to-peer (p2p) systems have been studied in distributed, ubiquitous computing environments. Distributed hash table (DHT)-based p2p systems can improve load-balancing even though locality utilization and user mobility are not guaranteed. We propose a mobile locality-based hierarchical p2p overlay network (MLH-Net) to address locality problems without any other services. MLH-Net utilizes mobility features in a mobile environment. MLH-Net is constructed as two layers, an upper layer formed with super-nodes and a lower layer formed with normal-nodes. The simulation results demonstrate that MLH-Net can decrease discovery routing hops by 13% compared with JXTA and 69% compared with Chord. It can decrease the discovery routing distance by 17% compared with JXTA and 83% compared with Chord depending on the environment.

  • P2P systems have been studied by many researchers in universities and commercial firms in recent years. In this study. we design and implement a system that makes UP for shortcomings of currently available P2P systems. Gnutella and Napster. The study also includes an efficiency analysis scheme conducted through a series of experimental data. The data sharing system of the study demonstrated duality of roles(client, service) of peers. But, their roles were separated from the existing client-server systems. Also, the study implements mechanism that shows the redundancy of data to communicate efficiently among peers for transferring data. The results of performance measure of the system shows that the amount of information shared by peers increases as the amount of peers increases but with no significant increase in response time. This constant response time is far more stable and faster than current file sharing systems. such as Gnutella and Napster. Business applications such as knowledge management, enterprise information portal management and transfer of data are done by use of supercomputers. They need to extend their systems to equip with more capacity and throughput as the number of clients increases. Moreover, they will face with more complicated problems if integration with new systems exists. If this JDSS is introduced to these business applications. it would easily augment scalability of the system with high performance at less expense.

The important module of the designed Data exchange system an interworking between the P2P system which it is made we used API and the each other different protocol the possible data for replacement Data exchange system were designed this kind of a feature was to the utmost utilized may account for the XML Parser Component(XPC) which we use it parses the or about a request and the generated request, and the structure of the XML Making Component(XMC) which we use in generating the inappropriate a request and response.
