모듈형 관군 열교환기에서의 관 형상에 따른 열전달 및 압력강하 특성에 관한 연구 (Heat Transfer and Pressure Drop Characteristics for Various Tube Geometries in Modular Tube Bundle Heat Exchanger)

  • A numerical study has been performed to obtain the heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics for shell-and-tube heat exchanger with various shapes of tubes. The Tubes have variation of Aspect Ratio, Pitch and Rotation. Results are presented as plots of Colburn j factor and friction factor f against Aspect Ratio, Pitch and Rotation. As Aspect Ratio increases, j factor and f factor decreases. As Pitch increases, j factor decreases. j/f have optimized Pitch for each Aspect Ratio. Accordingly, there is fitness of Aspect Ratio and Pitch fur most effective cases. The Rotation of tubes are of no meaning for both heat transfer and pressure drop.

휜의 피치 및 배열 방식에 따른 프리히터의 전열 성능에 관한 연구 (A Numerical Study on the Effect of Fin Pitch and Fin Array on the Heat Transfer Performance of a Pre-heater)

  • In this paper, a numerical study was performed to investigate the performance characteristics of a pre-heater. The effects of fin pitch and fin array type(in-line, staggered, leaned array) were reported in terms of Colburn j-factor and Fanning friction factor f, as a function of Re. Three-dimensional numerical simulation has been performed by using flow analysis program, FLUENT 13.0. The results show that Colburn j-factor decreases with the decrease of fin pitch attached in the annular tube. But the fin pitch has little effect on f-factor. The staggered array and leaned array show improved heat transfer performance compared with in-line array, so that Colburn j-factor was increased. It also shows that the f-factor of leaned array is the highest in the studied range of Reynolds number.

  • The comparison of $J_{Rice}$-resistance considering a few strength ratio in Rice J-integral formula and $J_{\delta}$-resistance curves converted from experimental CTOD using appropriate strength chosen according to strain hardening level, n=10.6 (A533B steel) and n=8.1 (BS4360 steel) is carried out. The optimal dimensionless strength ratio like the factor of revision, (see full text)reflecting strain hardening level in Rice\`s experimental formula is found out and the reliability of appropriate reference strength chosen according to strain hardening level in different materials is investigated through doing that CTOD is transformed from $J_{\delta}$-integral using relationship between J-integral and CTOD. The results are as follows; 1) The optimal factor of revision is when m equals to 3 in (see full text) for Rice's and the above optimal factor of revision multiplies by coefficient, η in Rice's experimental formula instead of n=2, 2) and the pertinent reference strength for high strain hardening material like BS4360 steel is ultimate strength, $\sigma_{u}$ and for material like A533B steel is ultimate-flow strength, $\sigma_{u-f}$. The incompatible of the behavior of both experimental J-resistance curves using Rice's formula and CTOD-resistance curves for A533B and BS4360 steel by Gordon, et al., could be corrected using the optimal factor of revision in Rice\`s and the pertinent reference strength in J=$m_{j}$${\times}$$\sigma_{i}$${\times}$CTOD.

  • k-factor법은 합성교량의 설계에서 부정정 응력을 산정하는 방법으로 널리 사용되고 있다. 이 방법의 적정성을 평가하기 위하여 2경간 연속 강합성거더에 대하여 등가하중법과 비교하였다. k-factor법은 크리프에 대해서는 강재응력을 과소평가하고, 부모멘트 구간에서는 응력의 방향을 반대로 산정하며, 건조수축이나 온도차에 대해서는 단면변화를 고려하지 못하는 것을 확인하였다. 이 논문에서는 k-factor법의 정확성을 개선하면서, 계산의 편리성은 유지할 수 있는 j-factor법을 제안하였고, 그 효과를 2경간 연속 강합성거더에 적용하여 검증하였다.

안굴절계를 이용한 백내장 수술전후의 굴절이상 분석 (Analysis of Refractive Errors of the before and after Cataract Surgery by Auto-refractor)

  • 백내장이 있는 45~85세 총 119명의 백내장 수술 전후의 굴절이상 변화도를 알아보기 위하여 굴절이상과 각막굴절력을 power vector에 의하여 M, $J_0$, $J_{45}$ 3가지 성분으로 분석하였다. 등가구면 굴절력인 M 성분은 백내장 수술 전 $-0.29{\pm}2.38D$에서 수술 후 $-0.18{\pm}0.69D$로, $J_0$성분은 $-0.34{\pm}0.68D$에서 $-0.05{\pm}0.42D$로, $J_{45}$성분은 $0.11{\pm}0.45$에서 수술 후 $0.02{\pm}0.17$로 변화하였다. 각막평균 굴절력은 백내장 수술 전 $44.11{\pm}1.61D$에서, 백내장 수술 후 $44.20{\pm}1.58D$로, $J_0$성분은 $0.01{\pm}0.50D$에서, $0.08{\pm}0.49D$$J_{45}$성분은 $0.02{\pm}0.29$에서, $0.08{\pm}0.49$로 변화하였다. 굴절이상에 대한 수술 전후 상관관계는 $J_0$성분이 가장 높은 상관성이 있는 것으로 나타났고, 각막굴절 성분에 대한 상관관계는 평균 각막굴절력이 가장 높은 상관성이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 각막굴절력 성분이 굴절이상 성분보다 더 높은 상관관계를 나타냈다.

외기 온도 변화가 핀-관 열교환기의 공기측 열전달계수와 마찰계수에 미치는 영향에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Effect of the Air Temperature on the Air-Side Heat-Transfer Coefficient and the Friction Factor of a Fin-and-Tube Heat Exchanger)

  • In general, the air-side j and f factors of evaporators or condensers are obtained through single-design tests performed under air-dry and wet-bulb temperatures. Considering that the indoor or outdoor air temperatures vary significantly during the operation of an air conditioner, it is necessary to confirm that the experimentally-obtained j and f factors are widely applicable under variable air conditions. In this study, a series of tests were conducted on a two-row slit-finned heat exchanger to confirm the applicability. The results showed that, for the dry-surface condition, the changes of the tube-side water temperature, water-flow rate, and air temperature had virtually no effect on the air-side j and f factors. For the wet condition, however, the f factor was significantly affected by these changes; contrarily, the j factor is relatively independent regarding this change. The formulation of the possible reasoning is in consideration of the condensation behavior underneath the tube. The wet-surface j and f factors are larger than those of the dry surface, with a larger amount for the f factor.

A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS ON EFFICIENCY AND TOTAL FACTOR PRODUCTIVITY IN CONSTRUCTION FIRMS BETWEEN KOREA AND JAPAN

  • The aim of this study is to compare efficiency and Total Factor Productivity(TFP) between Korean and Japanese construction firms in Korea and Japan over the period of 2005-2011. The results of this study are as follows. Efficiency scores of Korean construction firms are 0.797, and Japanese construction firms are 0.921. Second, annual total factor productivity growth of Korean construction firms is 0.5% and technical progress do much for TFP decrease. However Japanese construction firms marked annual increasing of 2.5% of TFP. Third, technical progress contributed in TFP increase of construction firms in Korea. Korean construction firms, however, relatively lagged behind Japanese construction firms in technical progress. Therefore, Korean construction firms need strategies to achieve technical advances including adopting new technology or process innovation to maintain competitiveness, survive, and develop in the future competition with Japan.

핀-관 열교환기의 난방운전 시 공기측 열전달 및 마찰특성 (Air-side Heat Transfer and Friction Characteristics of Fined-tube Heat Exchangers under Heating Condition)

  • 본 연구에서는 핀-관 열교환기의 공기측 열전달 및 마찰특성을 조사하기 위하여 8종의 열교환기에 대하여 난방조건에서 실험을 수행하였다. 핀-관 열교환기의 성능 비교평가를 위하여 공기엔탈피식 칼로리미터를 이용하였다. 실험에 사용된 핀은 슬릿, 루버, 평판형이며, 관경은 7.0 mm, 열수는 1, 2, 3열 그리고 4종의 관회로에 대해 j 계수와 마찰계수를 획득하였다. 실험을 통해서 핀형상, 핀피치, 열수 그리고 관회로의 변화에 대한 핀-관 열교환기의 공기측 열전달 및 마찰거동을 조사하였다. 실험결과는 관회로의 구성이 열교환기의 열전달과 마찰과 관련이 있음을 보여주었다. 동일 핀피치의 열교환기의 경우에 저 Re 수에서는 1열의 열전달성능이 우수하나 Re 수가 증가할수록 j 계수의 거동은 역전함을 보였다. 그리고 2열의 열교환기에서 핀종류에 따라 공기측 열전달성능과 마찰계수가 다르게 나타남을 확인하였다.
