The aim of this study is to examine the reliability of Inyoung-Chongu pulse diagnosis by analyzing Inyoung-Chongu pulse measured on normal people. I measure the size of Inyoung & Chongu pulse, ratio of Inyoung to Chongu, and ratio of Chongu to Inyoung on 50 normal people. Inyoung pulse of normal people is $6.44{\pm}1.62$ volt and Chongu pulse of normal people is $6.81{\pm}1.70$ volt. The ratio of Inyoun to Chongu is $1.03{\pm}0.50$ and that of Chongu to Inyoung is $1.12{\pm}0.41$. Through this experiment, I conclude that the Inyoung-Chongu pulse diagnosis is reproducible on normal people and can develop pulse diagnosis device through comparison between Inyoung and Chongu pulse.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship of Inyoung-Chongu pulse, body mass index (BMI) and Sasang constitution using pulse diagnosis device in college women. We measured the amplitude of Inyoung pulse, Chongu pulse, ratio of Inyoung to Chongu and ratio of Chongu to Inyoung on 69 college women. The data was analyzed by ANOVA and Pearson's correlation coefficient using SAS program. The results were as follow. There was no significant difference in Inyoung pulse, Chongu pulse, Inyoung to Chongu ratio and Chongu to Inyoung ratio according to BMI and Sasang constitution. There was significant difference in BMI among Sasang constitution. BMI was significantly high in Taeeumin than in Soyangin and Soeumin. We concluded that there was no relation among Inyoung-Chongu pulse, BMI and Sasang constitution. Therefore, we need to expand the sample size for in depth study.

This study was done to identify correlates of carotid artery ultrasonography's measurement and Inyoung pulse in college students. We measured the amplitude of Inyoung pulse, Chongu pulse, ratio of Inyoung to Chongu and ratio of Chongu to Inyoung on 30 college students. Also, We measured the Distance, Diameter), RI(resistivity index), S/D(systolic, diastolic ratio), PI(pulsatility index), PSV(peak systolic velocity), EDV(End diastolic velocity), Vmean using carotid artery ultrasonography. The data was analyzed by Pearson's correlation coefficient using SAS program. The results were as follow. Results showed a positive correlation between Inyoung pulse and diameter by carotid artery. It showed a positive correlation between Inyoung pulse and S/D. Also, It showed a positive correlation between Inyoung pulse and PSV. As a result, the strength of Inyoung pulse related with the diameter of carotid artery and blood flow velocity.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to examine the hemodynamic characteristics of pulse point. Methods : The computational analysis algorithms of arterial tree system was derived. In order to investigate the effect of internal organ on the pulse point, the diameter of celiac artery was reduced by half. Results : The sensitivity of flow change at the Inyoung(Renying) is better than that of the Chongu(Cunkou). but the Inyoung was worse than the Chongu in the point of the left and right symmetry. The pressure changes at the Inyoung and the Chongu were in the similar range. Conclusions : It was found from the result that the Chongu shows the more symmetrical hemodynamic characteristics than the Inyoung.

This paper describes research about the realization of a diagnosis system for the surgical operation of the acupuncture. The system consists of the Munjin, Bokjin and Makjin software. The Munjin system diagnoses the pain spots or each Kyoungnats of the hands, root and neck. The Bokjin system diagnoses pressure-pain spots of the twelve Kyoungnak at chest and abdomen by following the displayed positions on the monitor in sequentially. The Maekjin system diagnoses radial pulse or inyoung and chongu according to the Inyoung-Chongu comparison in ethod. Compound diagnosis verifies the results which obtained from each diagnosis routine by the interface rule. This developed system contains the database which for the paitents diagnosis and treatment process recoding.
