  • In this paper, a mathematical model of Brushless DC machine fed by pwm inverter is developed. Dynamic and steady state characteristics of Brushless DC motor is simulated and analyzed: electromagnetic torque, speed, phase voltage, and current. In mathematical modeling, the shaft transformation referencing rotor frame from to "a,b,c" three phase frame to "d,g" two phase frame is described.

  • In many applications of the bridge type PWM converters as like inverters. AC/DC PWM converters or active power filters, it is necessary to control the input/output current. This paper presents a new current control switching strategy for the bridge type PWM converters. And variable speed motor control applications fed by current controlled inverter, PWM AC/DC converter applications. active power filter applications and class-D amplifier applications using the proposed new current control switching method are shown.

  • This paper describes a moving mesh technique for dynamic characteristics analysis of permanent magnet linear synchronous motor with the secondary aluminium sheet. The moving mesh technique applied to the linear induction motor can be used to analyze the linear synchronous motor with the rectangular permanent magnet. But in case of the permanent magnet with taper, the shape of the permanent magnet is presented. The time-stepped finite element method is used for the dynamic characteristics simulation of the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor, The results of application example(hysteresis current controlled inverter fed control) such as thrust, current and flux plots are shown.

  • In this paper, a mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) fed by inverter with Direct Torque Control (DTC) Dynamic and steady state characteristics of PMSM is simulated and analyzed: electro-magnetic torque response, speed response, locus of the stator flux linkage. It is mathematically proven that the increase of electromagnetic torque in a permanent magnet motor is proportional the increase of the angle between the stator and rotor flux linkages, and, therefore, the fast torque response can be obtained by adjusting the rotating speed of the stator flux linkage as fast as possible. The simulation results verify the proposed control and also show that the torque response under DTC is much faster than the PWM current controlled drive.

  • The Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) Inverter plays an important role in express locomotive. Especially after traction motors are fed by fast switching inverters, the interturn insulation is destroyed more heavily. However, a new type of polyimide corona resistant film is developed and used in insulation of traction motors. In order to investigate the service life of this kind of traction motor, the mechanism and characteristics of dielectric breakdown of polyimide corona resistant are studied in the paper. Experiments have been carried out on specimen according to the condition of traction motor. The breakdown point of tested sample film is analyzed through energy spectrum analysis and electron microscopic photograph. At last, it is presented that the characteristics and mechanism of breakdown of polyimide corona resistance film.

  • Parallel three-phase voltage source inverters in a direct connection configuration are widely used to increase system power ratings. A zero-sequence circulating current can be generated according to the switching method; however, the zero-sequence circulating current not only distorts current, but also reduces the system reliability and efficiency. In this paper, a model predictive control scheme is proposed for parallel inverters to drive an interior permanent magnet synchronous motor with zero-sequence circulating current suppression. The voltage vector of the parallel inverters is derived to predict and control the torque and stator flux components. In addition, the zero-sequence circulating current is suppressed by designing the cost function without an additional current sensor and high-impedance inductor. Simulation and experimental results are presented to verify the proposed control scheme.

  • 선형 유도 전동기 구동 인버터의 스위치 결함에 대한 신뢰성 향상을 위해, 실제 온라인 기반의 고장 및 고장점 검출에 대한 연구가 활발하다. 인버터에서 스위치 고장이 발생하면, 일반적으로 전압, 전류에 고조파가 발생되고 토크의 리플이 증가하게 된다. 또한, 인버터 스위치 고장의 경우 과전류가 발생하며 다른 전자 부품에 2차 피해를 일으킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 센서를 통해 얻은 전류의 정보를 이용하여 고장 및 고장 스위치를 검출하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 한 개 또는 두 개의 스위치 고장을 4개의 faulty group으로 구별하여 고장 검출이 이루어지며 제안된 알고리즘을 입증하기 위해 Matlab-Simulink을 이용한 시뮬레이션 결과와 실험 결과가 제시된다.

  • This paper is derived a solutions for an analytical model of an induction motor and the formula of regenerative power, based on spiral vector. The torque is controlled linearity through variations of the slip angular velocity, based on the field acceleration method (FAM). And also PWM inverter fed induction motor drives is schemed to be easily a regenerative power. The experimental tests verify the performance of the FAM, proving that good behavior of the drive is achieved in the transient and steady state operating condition. and are discussed to shave the power that regenerative power is measured at the operating acceleration or deceleration of servo system.

  • This paper presents the dynamic characteristics of a linear brushless DC(BLDC) motor with permanent magnet excitation for the precision conveyor according to the load condition. In order to investigate the accurate dynamic performance of tile linear BLDC motor driving with 6 step inverter- fed, finite element techniques coupling with external circuit models, together with the simultaneous simulation of motion of the mover system, arc proposed. The results of finite element analysis arc compared to the experimental ones.

  • In this paper, control algorithm for torque ripple compensation in DFIG wind power generation system is proposed. A simple PI controller is designed for the negative sequence voltage cancellation using negative sequence currents in the grid-side converter. As a result, the stator voltage contains only the positive sequence components and the torque pulsation of the generator is effectively compensated. Propose algorithm is confirmed with PSCAD simulation model.
