In Client/Server environments, an employee should be able to access only applications which were assigned to him/her. That makes it difficult to share information among employees. The development of intranet system made it possible to share more information and to access broader information. In this paper, we present a parts management system developed by using Intrabuilder which is an intranet development tool. We intend to suggest a prototype which can guide the development of more delicate and complete parts management systems in the future.

The restaurant franchise industry is one that could benefit significantly from the use of intranet technology, from its potential for improving communications between franchisors and franchisees, to providing easier inventory and ordering processes. However, there is a level of trepidation among potential users about whether the technology would improve their work performance. This study sought to examine the relationships between perceived uncertainty and perceived usefulness of intranet technology in the restaurant franchise industry. Through a review of available literature, 10 sub-dimensions of perceived uncertainty (Duncan, 1972) and six sub-dimensions of perceived usefulness (Davis, 1989) were derived. Canonical correlation analysis was used to examine the relationships between these concepts using data collected from 163 franchising restaurant managers in South Korea. Findings from the data analysis demonstrates two negative factors and one positive factor in perceived uncertainty that influence perceived usefulness, thus offering some implications of what to consider when implementing an intranet system in a restaurant franchise.

본 논문에서는 인터넷/인트라넷 환경에 사용할 수 있으며 인터넷 방송 기능을 제공하는 푸시 시스템을 개발하면서 다수 사용자를 수용하기 위한 방안을 연구하였다. 특히 사용자 접속에 따른 푸시서버의 부하량 증가와 접속빈도에 의한 푸시서버의 분산효과를 분석하였다. 분산된 상태에서 채널을 공유하기 위한 방법으로 공통채널과 지역채널로 구분하여 푸시서버마다 공통채널을 복제하는 방식으로 대규모 사용자를 분산 수용하면서 정보 취득에 어려움이 없도록 하였으며 분산 푸시서버에서 채널연동을 효과적으로 수행하기 위한 알고리즘을 고안하게 되었다.

하이퍼미디어 기반 인터넷서비스의 확산으로 월드와이드웹(WWW)은 대중적으로 널리 알려지게 되었고 이런 하이퍼미디어 어플리케이션의 응용분야로서 인터넷 프로토콜인 TCP/IP와 HTTP를 이용하여 기업내부업무를 처리하고자 하는 인트라넷 어플리케이션도 점차 대두되고 있다. 인트라넷 어플리케이션은 단순한 정보획득 뿐만 아니라, 정보의 생산, 수정 및 삭제 등을 하이퍼미디어 형식으로 수행해야 되기 때문에 정보의 획득에만 비중을 둔 기존의 하이퍼미디어 어플리케이션 개발방법론을 그대로 적용하기엔 부적당하다고 볼 수 있다. 본 논문은 객체지향 방법론을 이용하여 인트라넷 환경에 맞게 적용하기엔 부적당하다고 볼 수 있다. 본 논문은 객체지향 방법론을 이용하여 인트라넷 환경에 맞게 적용한 객체지향 인트라넷 어플리케이션 개발방법론(OOIDM)을 제안한다. 그리고 설계정보의 재사용을 위해 인트라넷 영역에서 사용될 숙 있는 설계패턴을 제안하고, 이를 OOIDM에 적용한 사례연구도 제시하였다. 인트라넷 영역에서 설계패턴의 적용은 많은 잇점을 가져다 주었다. 설계패턴은 성공적인 설계정보와 그 구조의 재사용을 용이하게 해주었고, 이에 따른 설계결정(design decision)을 감소시켜 주었다.

인터넷의 발달과 함께 인터넷 기술을 기반으로 하는 인트라넷이 널리 보급되고 있다. 인트라넷은 기업, 연구소, 학교 등 같은 목적을 가지는 조직의 정보 공유를 위하여 사용되는 일종의 사설 네트워크이다. 인트라넷 사용의 증가와 함께 인트라넷 환경은 여러 인트라넷이 연관 관계를 가지는 익스트라넷 환경으로 발전하고 있다. 현재 이러한 인트라넷 및 익스트라넷 환경에서는 상호간 정보 공유에 있어 발생 할 수 있는 보안 문제를 해결하는 것이 무엇보다도 중요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 인트라넷 및 익스트라넷에서 사용자의 편리성 향상을 위한 단일 인증과 권한 부여 기능을 제공하는 단일 인증 시스템을 제안하고, 제안한 모델을 PKI(Public Key Infrastructure) 기반의 상호 연동을 통해 다중 도메인간에 상호 인증이 가능함 모델로 확장한다.

동시공학적 개념을 선박의 설계에 적용하기 위하여 동시공학 지원 시스템을 구축하는 방법을 제시함이 이 연구의 목적이다. Intranet기술의 개방성과 경제성을 이용한 시스템 개발은 조선 산업의 특성에 맞는 지원체계를 구축하는데 합리적인 대안으로 여겨진다. 그간의 동시공학 적용노력인 단위 시스템의 개발을 통한 방식에서 벗어나 정보시스템과 통합을 가능하게 하는 Intranet 방식은 설계와 생산, Life-cycle정보의 통합을 가능하게 해주는 Framework을 제공해 줄 수 있다. 동시공학 지원 시스템의 주요기능의 파악과 필요한 요소기술들의 경향분석을 이 연구의 주내용으로 하고 있다. 가상 설계의 기능, 동시공학 팀의 Workflow, 의사소통 지원, 데이타베이스 검색, 관리, 타시스템 연계, 설계 데이타 view등이 주요 필요 기능으로 여겨진다.

Intranet 환경에 다수의 유휴 호스트를 이용하여 많은 계산량을 지닌 응용 문제를 분산시켜 병렬 수행함으로써 효율성의 향상이 기대된다. 하지만 유휴 호스트를 이용하는데 있어서 이질성과 가변성 및 자율성으로 인해 요청에 대한 신뢰성을 예측하기가 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 태스크 할당 및 호스트 관리에 있어서 부하 균등을 위한 동적 분산 병렬 스킴인 적응적 태스크 재할당 기법을 제시한다. 또한, 이미지 랜더링 생성과 프랙탈 이미지 처리와 같은 많은 연산량을 지닌 응용 문제를 PDSWeb 시스템에 적용하여 제안 알고리즘의 성능을 분석하고 평가한다.

In this paper, we present implemetnations of subcontract management system using intranet. Subcontract management is including the support functions such as process control, official documents exchange, and transmission of subcontract management policy carried out by a big companys subcontract management department. By the use of the developed system, both big company and subcontract company are expected to have benefits from a consistent management of information and a strong access function through the internet. Also, it will reduce time lag ocurred a legacy management between two companies in the past.

Individual adoption and sustained usage of information technology(IT) are crucial prerequisites for exploiting IT as integral components of organizational work. Previous studies on technology adoption in workplace suggest that acceptance behavior is influenced by a variety of factors such as individual differences, social influences, beliefs, attitudes, and situational influences. In this paper, we introduce a research model to predict the usage behavior of intranet in workplace and also explain the causal relationships among variables. Based on the survey of 333 intranet users, this study uses structural equation model with LISREL 8.12. This study suggests several major results from surveys and analysis from them. Perceived use is influenced by intranet experience, task equivocality, organizational support, and perceived ease of use, Experience and organizational support determine perceived ease of use. Task equivocality, task interdependence, and organizational support have positive effects on subjective norm. On the other hand, present usage, which is a dependent variable in this model, is influenced by perceived use, experience, task interdependence, and organizational support.

본 논문에서는 INMARSAT-C 단말기의 사용이 증가함에 따라, INMARSAT-C와 육상의 인트라넷 (Intranet)의 개념을 더하여 사용자 간 메시지나 파일을 편리하게 주고받기 위한 방안을 제시한다. 한대의 서버 컴퓨터를 중심으로 예전부터 사용되고 있는 선박 내의 텔렉스, 프린터 둥의 장비들과 데이터베이스를 포함하여 LAN(Local Area Network)을 구축하고, INMARSAT-C 단말기와 서버 간 RS-232C 링크 기능을 구현하여 DTE/DCE 역할을 하게 한다. 또한 인터넷 죕 메일시스템으로 선박과 육상간의 통신에서 전자우편(E-Mail)을 이용함으로서 선박 내의 PC 환경을 더욱 효율적으로 구성한다.
