This study aims to discuss the location characteristics and present distribution of facilities in the rural community. The purpose of this study is to suggest the basic data of the planning of facilities corresponding to the living sphere in community. The circumstances, location and distribution of the rural area facilities was analyzed through field investigation and interview. lt is necessary for ameliorating the income of inhabitants and the status of living environment to make a general local plan in developing rural area. That will be a solution to tackle the decreasement of population in the rural area. The survey's result is observed different by the feature of rural area, adjacence with near rural center, scale of rural center. So a standard of the various facility's arrangement plan must be established, and it must be enlarged in rural area.

본 연구의 목적은 과학기술정보서비스에 대한 고객만족도를 기반으로 하여 충성고객을 예측할 수 있는 모델을 구축하는 것이다. 이를 위해 정보서비스를 경험한 최근 1년이내 한국가과학기술전자도서관(NDSL : National Digital Science Library)사이트를 이용한 회원을 대상을 조사를 하였으며, 조사목적은 NDSL 서비스의 추천지수 측정을 통하여 추천, 비추천 사유를 파악하기 위함이다. 조사방법은 전화조사(Telephone Interview)로 진행하고 표본 수는 500명의 의사결정자를 대상으로 측정하였다. 고객충성도는 NPS(Net Promoter Score, 순고객추천지수) 이론에 근거하여 하였다. 연구결과 고객만족도 수준에 따라 비추천고객, 추천고객을 예측할 수 있는 모델을 구축하였다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 인터넷 등 정보의 발달로 고객의 긍정적 또는 부정적인 구전이 급속도로 노출되는 환경에서 고객의 만족도를 관리함으로써 충성고객을 확보하는데 사전 예측자료로 활용될 수 있다.

In order to manage technology transfer properly, it is important to judge whether the technology transfer is successful or not, and to find out the reason of the conclusion. The study aims to find out the relationship between successfulness of technology transfer and reasons or basis of the conclusion. Empirical investigation was carried out for Korean small and medium size firm in machinery and material field with statistical analysis on questionnaire and intensive interview. Result of the analysis is identified and compared with the other. It is shown that Korean firms feel their technology transfer is successful when it meet functional objectives and to get enough knowledge to further utilization from external source. Realization of benefit do not affect much the successfulness of technology transfer even though it is final objectives of technology transfer.

Bulk-type dryers which are widely used for drying special agricultural products such as tobaco leaf, red pepper, mushroom, ginseng, medicinal herb, etc, began to be distributed on a full scale since 1980 and the total number of dryers introduced to farms reached to about 36,600 units as of the end of 1986. In this study a survery was carried on the farmers cultivating special crops, dryer manufacturers and related administrative institutes and associations by means of on-the-spot investigation, mail or interview to collect data on scales and patterns of farming, utilization of bulk-type dryers, production and price streams of the special crops etc. Based on the analysis of the data surveyed predictions were made for the total demand on the bulk-type dryers and for annual demand over five-year span.

The purpose of this article is to suggest using portfolio for professional development of secondary pre-service mathematics teachers based on actual application case. To achieve this goal, 28 pre-service mathematics teachers developed their own portfolios in the regular study course for one semester under the pre-planned components of portfolio. Then they participated in the survey of their beliefs in mathematics and mathematics education and in the structured interview for drawing implications of using a pre-service mathematics teacher portfolio. According to the collected data, developing a pre-service mathematics teacher portfolio made a significant difference in beliefs of mathematics teachers' roles and showed the potential to improve the professional development of pre-service mathematics teachers as well as their learning. Continued investigation for more effective components of a pre-service mathematics teacher portfolio would be needed.

This study has systematically classified established the agricultural management risks from the agricultural company's position and analyzed their counterplan situation in order to seek measures to counteract this. The AHP & IPA technique were used as an analysis method concerning the evaluation results. The counterplan situation was deduced through an interview investigation of 112 farmers who produce cabbage, white radish, onion, garlic, chili, and 6 other such items in order to stereotype the risks. If the agricultural companies' management capacity is raised in accordance to the risk counterplan deduced from this study, and the risks of agricultural management activity are avoided ahead of time or counter means are activated, we can anticipate the stabilization of agricultural management.

People with visual impairments are difficult to go to education facility by themselves, because of their limited visual ability, orientation, and usability field, so they prefer dormitories. Those dormitories playa role in living space, education, communication and culture function. Therefore those facilities planned more user centered design, since they are influenced by user actability and their values. User centered designs that match between the user and space are understood as well as their characteristics and behavior. Especially for understanding their activity, observation is conducted about their behavior in dormitories. Thus the purpose of this study is suggested to be a basic source that planning about residential facility for people with visual impairments through interview and observation investigation by analysis that they resident in space motion and performance.

This paper aims to investigate the actual conditions of the fishing villages and the attitudes of fishery workers. In this study, field research, interview method, and survey research method are utilized. The regions of this research are 4 fishing villages of the Yellow Sea coast and the survey data are collected from 119 fishermen. The results show that the fishery industry has come to a crisis due to the staggering fish catches and fishery income, increasing expenditures am debt, continuous decrease in numbers of fishery workers, etc. In addition, the work morale of the fishermen appears to be very low. They take a dim view of fishery industry and their household financial status. They perceive that their qualities of life are very low as well. The implications of these findings far comprehensive development of fishing villages are then discussed.

This study aims to develop a rich understanding of user goals in user-empowering information technologies which have been dominating part in the information systems environment. A particular focus is on users' goals in a social network site (SNS) which is a typical example of user-empowering technologies. Users conduct various activities in order to achieve diverse goals in SNS. Thus, investigating what goals users pursue in SNS will give insights into understanding the users. We employed the laddering interview technique and means-end chain approach. Interviews of 50 Facebook users were analyzed to produce a hierarchical goal map showing users' goal structure. The map contains 18 goals, including self-reflection, psychological stability, belongingness, improving productivity, and amusement as ultimate goals in SNS. In the map, there are varied routes from activities to ultimate goals in SNS; that is, a complex assembly consisting of activities and goals. The findings call the information systems research community to have more interests in diverse goals and values users seek with technologies.

Environmental noise raises serious problems in our ciries. Noise reduces the preformance task, and occasionially causes the physiological problems such as nervous strain, headache etc. This study is to investigate the environmental noise of elementary school classrooms in attempt to probide the basis of appropriate sound performance standards. Field interview survey with a total of 369 subjects in 3 elementary schools and simultaneously measurements of noise level have been made. The results of study show that the A-weighted noise level is in excess of the criteria recommended by I.S.O. and 69% of the subjects are annoyed by the environmental noises : in particular traffic ; and market noises.
