  • The fuzzy set framework has a number of properties that make it suitable to formulize uncertain information in medical diagnosis. This study introduces a fuzzy diagnostic method based on the interval-valued interview chart and the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy weighted arithmetic average(IIFWAA) operator. An issue in the use of the IIFWAA operator is to determine the weights. In this study, we propose the occurrence information of symptoms as the weights. An illustrative example is provided to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness.

  • We are dealing with the preliminary diagnosis from the information of headache interview chart. We quantify the qualitative information based on the interview chart by dual scaling. Prototype of fuzzy diagnostic sets and the neural linear regression methods are established with these quantified data, These new methods can be used to classify new patient's tone of diseases with certain degrees of belief and its concerned symptoms. We call these procedures as neural Fuzzy Differential Diagnosis of Headache (NFDDH-1). Also we investigate three measures to medical diagnosis, where relations between symptoms and diseases are described by intutionistic fuzzy set (IFS) data. Two measures are described by nin-max and max-min IFS operators, respectively. Another measure is the similarity degree, i.e., IFS distance between patient's symptoms and prototypes of diseases. We consider some reasonable criteria for three measures in order to determine the label of headache, We will establish hree measures in NFDDH-2 and combine two packages as NFDDH

  • Headache is one of the most common reasons for neurological consultation. Headache as many causes and symptoms. Therefore, screening method using questionaire is helpful in diagnosis of headache. This paper is to propose a medical diagnostic method to grasp patient's diseases using the relations between symptoms and diseases. For this purpose, we develop an interview chart assigned IF(intuitionistic fuzzy) grade with the relation among symptoms and three labels of headache. The method can be used to classify patient's tone of diseases with certain degrees of belief and its concerned symptoms.

  • In medical diagnostic process we are dealing with the preliminary diagnosis based on the interview chart. We will quantify the qualitative information of a patient by dual scaling and establish both prototypes of fuzzy diagnostic sets and the fuzzy linear regressions. Its utility is shown in the diagnosis of headache and CAFDDH.

  • Nuclear power plant is a huge system with multidisciplinary technology. So, R & D prioritization is a not a simple task and the relative importance of each prioritization criterion is not well established. This study built a technology classification chart for nuclear power plant operation and maintenace, established the relative importance of prioritization criteria and assigned the relative importance of each technology at each level. Analytical Hierarchy Process was used for the prioritization and the result was validated with Consistency Index and outcomes of fields interview.

  • This study was carried out to assess the self-care ability of the adged diabetic patients. To achieve such a purpose, thirty cases of the adged patients were sampled the regular and' the irregular hospital visiting group respectively from 20th, Oct. to 29th, Oct. in 1985. The data were collected by means of personal & telephone interview, chart review, and home visiting, and analysed by use of percentage, t-test, $X^2-test$ and Pearson-correlation coefficient. The obtained results were as follows: the regular group scored more than the irregular one (1) on the knowledge of the D. M .. , (2) in expecting internal control on the Health Locus of Control, (3) on the self-care behaviors. The results show us that the self-care of the aged diabetic patient could and must be developed by the adequate nursing intervention.

  • This study analyzed the process of multimedia services and indexed the core quality characteristics through the tools employed in 'Define' and 'Measure' steps of the 6 Sigma DMAIC methodology. To achieve the goal, as a case study of 'S' University Central Library, first, brainstorming technique was used to tap the librarians, second, interview with the half-time student workers, third, user's opinion on homepage was analyzed and lastly, the interview with the users. This study also drew some potential causal factors which would likely to affect the multimedia service using Process Map and C&E Diagram. Those factors were prioritized using X-Y matrix and Pareto Chart. This study revealed 14 factors affecting multimedia services: 'presence/absence of the persons who are in charge of selection', 'cycle of selection materials', 'presence/absence of seperated multimedia room', 'materials arrangement method', 'notification of popular materials', 'notification of documents arrivals', 'methods of noticing new arrivals', 'methods of ordering materials', 'cycle of checking order status', 'types of persons requesting materials', 'methods of requesting materials', 'checking of the status of the returned materials', 'methods of noticing materials in housed', and 'methods of ways to return overdue materials'.

  • In this study, it is surveyed and analyzed under the condition of developing GPS receiver that the present status of use and the precision of GPS receiver installed in naval vessels. Throughout interview and questionnaire with the workers in naval vessels, reliability and utilization of GPS receiver are verified. In conclusion, it is suggested that the development of GPS receiver system as well as navigation methods in naval vessels. The result of this study is as follows. Though the workers in naval vessels regard the accuracy of GPS receiver position as the fix by geographical navigation method. However, it is confirmed that its practical usage is when it is difficult to obtain the fix by geographical navigation method or R/D position or for verification. The suggested plans to develop the navigation methods from naval vessels standpoint are designing a parallel systems and introducing the GPS receiver system that functions well and is linked to the electronic navigation chart.

  • This paper CTQ(Critical to Quality) to draw, aim to derive a key quality factor reflects the customer's requirements by utilizing the QFD technique for sparkling water purifier device that combines the new module. Tasting participants, consumers and New Module device intended for developers who develop and conduct a survey and FGI (Focus Group Interview) VOC(Voice of Customer) to draw, drawn by the EC through the developer VOC and EC (Engineering Characteristic) and charts the relationship between the phases was prepared HOQ(House of Quality). Sparkling water purifier through the HOQ chart certain taste, sound, running water, CO2 cylinder replacement cycle, we obtain results that element is an important quality factors such as ease of use. These factors are closely related to each component regulators and Module device (mixing) associated with the taste of water, booster pumps, and deliver results that the solenoid is considered the most critical part.
