센서 네트워크에서 센싱 반경 교차점 기반 홀 복구 기법 (A Sensing Radius Intersection Based Coverage Hole Recovery Method in Wireless Sensor Network)

  • Since the sensor nodes are randomly arranged in the region of interest, it may happen that the sensor network area is separated or there is no sensor node in some area. In addition, after the sensor nodes are deployed in the sensor network, a coverage hole may occur due to the exhaustion of energy or physical destruction of the sensor nodes. The coverage hole can greatly affect the overall performance of the sensor network, such as reducing the data reliability of the sensor network, changing the network topology, disconnecting the data link, and worsening the transmission load. Therefore, sensor network coverage hole recovery has been studied. Existing coverage hole recovery studies present very complex geometric methods and procedures in the two-step process of finding a coverage hole and recovering a coverage hole. This study proposes a method for discovering and recovering a coverage hole in a sensor network, discovering that the sensor node is a boundary node by itself, and determining the location of a mobile node to be added. The proposed method is expected to have better efficiency in terms of complexity and message transmission compared to previous methods.

강구조상세부의 피로저항능력 개선을 위한 응력완화홀 적용성 평가 (Evaluation on Applicability of Stress Relief Hole for Improvement of Fatigue Stress Capacity of Steel Structural Details)

  • 강교량에는 외력에 대해 저항하는 부재의 좌굴 등의 변형을 구속시키기 위한 여러 상세부들이 존재한다. 이들 상세부는 상호 교차하는 부재들로 구성되고 제작의 용이성, 용접결함의 원천적 배제 및 응력집중을 완화시키기 위해 스켈럽을 이용해 왔다. 본 연구에서는 교차부에 발생되는 응력집중으로 상세범주 D등급 이하를 갖게 되는 강교량 상세부의 피로저항 능력을 상세범주 C등급 이상으로 개선시키는 방안으로 응력완화홀(SRH)을 제안하였다. 적절한 크기 및 위치의 SRH 효과를 확인하고 이를 강바닥판교의 U-rib와 가로보 교차부에 작용시켜 SRH에 의한 피로저항능력 개선 가능성을 확인하였다.

  • Aluminum/Aramid Fiber Reinforced Plastic(Al/AFRP) laminates are applied to the fuselage-wing intersection. The main objective of this study was to evaluate the delamination zone behavior of Al/AFRP with a saw-cut and circular hole using average stress criterion and the effect of notch geometry. Mechanical tests were carried out to determine the cyclic-bending moment and delamination zone observed ultrasonic C-scan pictures. In case of Al/AFRP containing saw-cut specimen, the shape and size of the delamination zone formed along the fatigue crack. However, in case of Al/AFRP containing circular hole specimen, the shape and size of delamination zone formed two types. first type, delamination zone formed along the fatigue crack. Second type, not observed fatigue crack. Therefore, delamination zone was formed dependently of the circular hole shape.

A Robotic Vision System for Turbine Blade Cooling Hole Detection

  • Gas turbines are extensively used in flight propulsion, electrical power generation, and other industrial applications. During its life span, a turbine blade is taken out periodically for repair and maintenance. This includes re-coating the blade surface and re-drilling the cooling holes/channels. A successful laser re-drilling requires the measurement of a hole within the accuracy of ${\pm}0.15mm$ in position and ${\pm}3^{\circ}$ in orientation. Detection of gas turbine blade/vane cooling hole position and orientation thus becomes a very important step for the vane/blade repair process. The industry is in urgent need of an automated system to fulfill the above task. This paper proposes approaches and algorithms to detect the cooling hole position and orientation by using a vision system mounted on a robot arm. The channel orientation is determined based on the alignment of the vision system with the channel axis. The opening position of the channel is the intersection between the channel axis and the surface around the channel opening. Experimental results have indicated that the concept of cooling hole identification is feasible. It has been shown that the reproducible detection of cooling channel position is with +/- 0.15mm accuracy and cooling channel orientation is with +/$-\;3^{\circ}$ with the current test conditions. Average processing time to search and identify channel position and orientation is less than 1 minute.

분해모델과 구멍 메움 알고리즘을 이용한 냉장고 내부 용적의 자동 계산 (Automatic Calculation of Interior Volume of Refrigerator by Hole Filling Algorithm)

  • Internal capacity of a refrigerator is an important indicator for design and purchasing criteria. The components facing the internal space may have holes or gaps between parts. In traditional way, design engineers manually remodeled the parts to fill the holes and the gaps for enclosed boundary of the internal space. Then they calculated internal volume by subtracting the assembly of parts from its enclosing volume. However, filling holes and gaps is not an automated process requiring a plenty of labor and time. In this research, we have developed a voxel-based method to estimate the internal volume of a refrigerator automatically. It starts transforming all components facing the interior space into voxels and fills all holes and gaps automatically by the developed hole-filling algorithm to form a completely closed boundary of the assembly. Then, it identifies the boundary voxels that are facing to the internal voxels with any part of the component. After getting the intersection points between the boundary voxels and the surfaces of components, it generates the boundary surface of triangular facets with the intersection points. Finally, it estimates the internal volume by adding volume of each tetrahedron composed of a triangle of boundary surface and an arbitrary point.

새로운 디버링 공구를 이용한 드릴링 버의 효율적 제거를 위한 가공조건 선정 (Determination of Cutting Conditions for an Efficient Deburring Process Using a New Deburring Tool)

  • For efficient deburring of burrs that form inside mechanical parts after drilling, new special deburring tool was developed specifically for the burr found at intersecting holes. In this paper, the process for finding ideal cutting conditions has been carried out to identify the efficient performance of deburring using a new tool. The burrs at the entrance and exit surface were analyzed for efficient removal. The surface roughness after deburring was also reviewed for better performance. In addition, the influence of the feed rate on deburring quality was analyzed for improved productivity. Through this process, a new deburring tool can be applied effectively to remove burrs formed at intersecting holes.

  • Purpose - By filling the existing research hole and supplying a whole evaluation, this test wants to offer actionable insights for stakeholders navigating the intersection of sustainability and financial prosperity. Ultimately, this study contributes to the evolving speak on ESG, fostering a deeper comprehension of its implications for fostering sustainable economic increase. Research design, data, and methodology - Based on the numerous prior literature, the current study adopts a rigorous and systematic approach to discover the connection between Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance and its effect on a financial boom. The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) method is the guiding framework for systematically accumulating and analyzing earlier research studies. Result: The finding of this study indicates that using ESG-pushed innovation, practitioners can force technological advancements inside their respective industries. By combining sustainability with research and improvement tasks, corporations can be leaders in selling economic boom through current, green solutions. Conclusion - In summary, this study concludes that embracing those findings in this study allows practitioners and managers to enhance their organization's easy regular, well-known traditional regular standard overall performance and undoubtedly contribute to a broader financial boom via leveraging the transformative strength of ESG necessities.

화장암반내 단층지역에 위치한 지하 방사성폐기물 처분장 구조거동연구 (A Study on the Structural Behavior of an Underground Radwaste Repository within a Granitic Rock Mass with a Fault Passing through the Cavern Roof)

  • 지하 500 m의 화강암반내 단층지역에 위치한 지하 방사성폐기물 처분장의 구조거동을 이해하기 위하여 수치 해석을 수행하였다. 해석에는 2차원 해석코드인 UDEC을 사용하였다. 해석모델은 화강암반, 처분공내의 압축 벤토나이트로 둘러싸인 PWR 사용후 핵연료 처분용기 및 처분동굴내에 채워진 혼합 벤토나이트를 포함한다. 한 개의 단층이 처분동굴의 지붕과 벽이 만나는 지점을 33, 45, 및 $58^{\circ}$의 각도로 관통하는 세가지 다른 경우게 대한 구조거동을 비교, 분석하였다. 그리고 $45^{\circ}$단층의 경우에 대해서는 수리역학적, 열역학적, 및 열수리역학적 상호작용 거동을 해석하고 비교, 분석하였다. PWR 사용후 핵연료내의 방사성 물질로부터 나오는 시간의존 방사성 붕괴열에 의한 영향을 해석하였다. 지하수위는 지표면 아래 10 m로 가정하였고, 지하수해석은 정류 알고리즘을 사용하였다.
