In this paper, I analyzed on the differnce of thinking for SW education of SW education research schools' students in 2016 according to background variables - school level, period of SW education and time of internet using. Also, I analyzed the corelation between student's thinking for SW education and background variables. As a result, I found the lower school level and the longer period of SW education, the more positive thinking for SW education is. Also, I found that when time of student's internet using are 1 hour or 2 hour, student's thinking for SW education is the most positive. But I confirmed that the period of SW education and time of student's internet using didn't give any influence to student's think for SW education. Based on result of analysis, I proposed necessities for research of method that method middle school student feel interesting on SW education and method that student keep interesting on long-term SW education.

In this paper, we design a programming education model that uses emotional intelligence and apply the model to programming education in elementary school. In our previous work, we found that there is a meaningful correlation between emotional intelligence and programming ability. In this paper, as a follow-up study, we design a programming education model based on a storytelling model and emotional intelligence. In order to test the performance of the proposed model, we applied our proposed model to the 5th grade elementary school students who have no programming experience. Based on extensive survey work and statistical analysis, we found that the experimental group by the programming education using the emotional intelligence got a statistically significant higher achievement than the comparative group by the traditional programming education. We hope that our model will be helpful in programming education in schools.

This study aims to explore how the degree of education related to information systems and the Internet literacy affect perceived security risk and how these three variables affect online transaction intention based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Since using smartphone to purchase necessary products is increasing, the study provided two different cases of using the existing Internet and smartphone to buy products. As a result of an empirical test, the degree of information system education, internet literacy, and perceived security risk had significant effects on online transaction intention mediating perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Unlike the expectation, the more people have education related to information systems, the more they have knowledge about hacking or cases of privacy infringement, leading to even more concerns about security, thereby believing the Internet transactions require much effort. The more the education about information system, the more we have concerns about security; therefore, perceived security risk have a positive(+) effect on perceived usefulness not a negative(-) effect. Lastly, while the degree of education related to information systems has relations with the recognition of the usefulness of the Internet transaction, the study showed that there are no relations of recognizing the usefulness and the ease of use of smartphone.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects on obesity of nurse education using the short message service (SMS) of cellular phones and wire Internet. Method: Forty patients in an experimental group, which was assessed pre- and post intervention, completed this study. The patients were divided into two groups according to degree of obesity. The goal of the intervention was to keep blood glucose concentrations close to the normal range. The intervention was applied weekly for 3 months. Participants were requested to input the blood glucose level everyday at http://www.biodang.com by cellular phone or wire internet. The researcher sent optimal recommendations to each patient using SMS of cellular phones and wire Internet. The plasma glucose levels and serum lipids were measured before and after the intervention. Results: After 3 months of education, Glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc) decreased by 1.4% in non-obese patients and 0.7% in obese patients. Fasting plasma glucose (FPG) decreased 22.6mg/dl in non-obese patients and 22.3mg/dl in obese patients. Two-hour plasma glucose (2HPG) decreased 97.0mg/dl in non-obese patients and 67.8mg/dl in obese patients. Conclusion: These results indicate that a nurse SMS intervention would improve HbAlc, FPG, and 2HPG in both non-obese and obese patients.
The purpose of this study is to examine children's/adolescents' motives for playing internet games and adaptation to school in accordance with their frequency levels of playing internet games. Participants were 236 children from grades 4, 5, and 6 in two elementary schools and 237 adolescents from grades 1, 2, and 3 in one middle school. They were measured on frequency levels of playing internet games, motives for playing internet games, and adaptation to school. Collected data were analyzed by SPSS WIN 12.0 for reliability, frequency, Chi-square test, t-test, Pearson's correlation, and one way ANOVA. Major findings of the research are as follows: First, children's/adolescents' frequency levels of playing internet games differed by their gender. The male ratio was much higher than the female ratio in the potential risk group and the high risk poop. In contrast, no grade differences on the frequency levels of playing internet games were found. Second, children's/adolescents' motives for playing internet games differed by their gender. Especially, among the motives the greatest difference between male and female was marked for 'Social Relationship'. Third, children's/adolescents' motives for playing internet games differed by their frequency levels of playing internet games. For 'Conformity,' the low risk group differed from the high risk group. For 'Spending Time', 'Benefit', 'Competition', and 'Social Relationship', the low risk group differed from the potential risk group and also from the high risk poop. Fourth, children's/adolescents' adaptation to school differed by their frequency levels of playing internet games. The high risk group exhibited a low level of adaptation in 'Academic Activities', 'a subcategory of adaptation to school.
This study investigated the purpose of internet usage among high-school seniors and how their psychological, behavioral, and interpersonal adjustment levels were affected by the amount of lime spent on the internet. The subjects were 572 high-school seniors who participated in the first panel of Korean Education Empolyment Panel (KEEP). The participants were divided into 2 groups: low use group using the internet for less than 30 minutes a day and high un group using the internet for more than 3 hours a day. The adjustment levels of these two groups were compared. The findings were as follows. First, the high use group used the internet to enjoy games, whereas the low use group used the internet to seek schoolwork-related information. Second, the high use group had more negative self-concepts and experienced more stress regarding economic hardship than the low use group. Finally, the high use group watched T.V. longer, studied less, and had more experiences of deviant behaviors, such as bullying, smoking, drinking, and sexual relations.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine effects of an empowerment education program (EEP) on internet games addiction, empowerment, and stress in middle school students. Methods: The EEP used in this study was based on the Freire' Empowerment Education Model. The research design of this study was a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design for 48 middle school students, who were conveniently assigned to an experimental group or a control group. The data were collected from May 29 to June 19, 2005. Data were analyzed using SPSS/PC program with frequencies, $\chi^2$-test, Fisher exact test, t-test, mean, standard deviation and ANCOVA. Results: 1) The first hypothesis that, "the experimental group would have higher empowerment scores than the control group. "was supported. 2) The second hypothesis that, "the experimental group would have lower internet games addiction scores than the control group."was supported. 3) The third hypothesis that, "the experimental group would have lower stress scores than the control group." was supported. Conclusion: We suggest, therefore, that the EEP should be used with adolescent to help them control their stress, internet games addiction and to increase their empowerment.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether the effect of the Internet diabetic education on plasma glucose in people with hyperglycemic diabetes. Method: A randomized design with control and experimental groups being assessed pre- and post-intervention was used. Twenty-two patients were randomly assigned to an intervention group and 21 to a control group. Participants were requested to input the blood glucose level weekly in http://www.biodang.com by cellular phone or wire Internet for 3 months. The researcher sends optimal recommendations to each patient using short message service(SMS) of cellular phone and wire Internet weekly. Results: Patients in the intervention group had a mean decrease of 1.3% in glycosylated haemoglobin ($HbA_1c$) levels and those in the control group had no significant difference. There was a significant mean change in 2-hour postprandial blood glucose(2HPPG) for the intervention group, with a mean change of-75.2mg/dl. The mean change in the control group was, however, not significant. Conclusion: These findings indicated that a web-based intervention using SMS of cellular phone improved $HbA_1c$ and 2HPPG.
