Efficient Video Service Providing Methods for Mobile of Indoor AP Terminals (실내 AP간 단말 이동에 따른 효율적인 동영상 서비스 제공 방안)

  • The visual motivation between AP devices is NTP-based visual motivation through the access of the Internet through the internal wired LAN, but this has several seconds of visual difference in hundreds of milliseconds (msec) depending on the network. The frame for the output of the video will vary depending on the application, but usually 24 (image) frames are output to the screen in one second. Therefore, the visual synchronization between peripheral devices can be performed through the adjacent moving camera device, not the wired method. The programming method of generating API for synchronization command when creating an application for visual synchronization and delivering it to AP through MAC may differ from the time in synchronization command according to the environment of the operating system at the transmission side and the situation of the buffer queue of the MAC. Therefore, as a method to solve this problem, the renewal of visual information in the device driver terminal controlling MAC can be much more effective.

  • Recently the Internet and multimedia technique quickly, develops and to follow multimedia information which is many at the network it is quick and widely, it will be able to exchange. And the synchronization problem for the time and a space of the multimedia object which is various exists. In order to solve like this problem point SMIL where it puts a base in XML it will be able to compose the multimedia object expression which is various from W3C standard was proposed. About under integrating to express a multimedia data the individual multimedia object of the synchronization language for and chain with time it will be able to integrate with the multimedia presentation which has become motive anger space in order. In this thesis provides that uses various multimedia object and users integrate multimedia object with synchronization easily SMIL Authoring system that can presentation design and implemented.

  • Cyber-physical systems (CPSs) can solve real problems by utilizing closely connected resources in the cyber world. Most problems arise because the physical world is uncertain and unpredictable. To address this uncertainty, information pouring from numerous devices must be collected in real-time, and each interconnected device must share the information. At this time, CPS must meet timing-related techniques and strict timing constraints that can deliver accurate information within predefined deadlines in order to interact closely beyond simply connecting the cyber and physical worlds. Timing errors in safety-critical systems, such as automobiles, aviation, and medical systems, can lead to catastrophic disasters. In this paper, we classify timing problems into two types: real-time delay and synchronization problems. The results of this study can be used in the entire process of CPS system design, implementation, operation, verification, and maintenance. As a result, it can contribute to securing the safety and reliability of CPS.

  • In these days, the big-size and high resolution multimedia file is widely used through networks. To transfer and service effectively, the internet network technology is necessary to substitute broadcasting. Normally Content Delivery Network(CDN) is widely used in conventional internet for multimedia services. But it has a small bandwidth to service. So to solve this problems, many researchers have suggest the protocol for download, content distribution/saving, server synchronization, caching, pushing rate, and streaming etc. But all of these has some defects like low resolution, packets loss and delay, real application implementations etc. So, this paper suggests a new method of network protocol based on P2P collaboration and user's content using information. And it evaluated the performance of suggested method. As the results, it showed the effectiveness of 4 performances indices : download speed, decreasing rate of connected user in same time, adaptive hit ratio, traffic decreasing rate.

Energy Efficiency Enhancement of TICK -based Fuzzy Logic for Selecting Forwarding Nodes in WSNs

  • Communication cost is the most important factor in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), as exchanging control keying messages consumes a large amount of energy from the constituent sensor nodes. Time-based Dynamic Keying and En-Route Filtering (TICK) can reduce the communication costs by utilizing local time values of the en-route nodes to generate one-time dynamic keys that are used to encrypt reports in a manner that further avoids the regular keying or re-keying of messages. Although TICK is more energy efficient, it employs no re-encryption operation strategy that cannot determine whether a healthy report might be considered as malicious if the clock drift between the source node and the forwarding node is too large. Secure SOurce-BAsed Loose Synchronization (SOBAS) employs a selective encryption en-route in which fixed nodes are selected to re-encrypt the data. Therefore, the selection of encryption nodes is non-adaptive, and the dynamic network conditions (i.e., The residual energy of en-route nodes, hop count, and false positive rate) are also not focused in SOBAS. We propose an energy efficient selection of re-encryption nodes based on fuzzy logic. Simulation results indicate that the proposed method achieves better energy conservation at the en-route nodes along the path when compared to TICK and SOBAS.

  • In this paper, we present a new method for efficient mobility management in infrastructure-based ad hoc networks. This type of network inherently takes the tree topology model in which an Internet gateway (IG) becomes a root. Accordingly, the nodes near the IG process get much more number of messages, thereby causing a bottleneck phenomenon that degrades network performance. This problem is known as a funneling effect. We present a method to maximize message aggregation in which the nodes in the networks form tree topology and perform skewed time synchronization according to the depths of the nodes during the tree construction process. We proved by resorting to simulation that the funneling effect is alleviated and network performance is improved greatly.

  • With the recent development of the ubiquitous computing technology, there are increasing interest and research in technologies such as sensors and RFID related to information recognition and location positioning in various ubiquitous fields. Especially, RTLS (Real-Time Locating Services) dealing with spatio-temporal data is emerging as a promising technology. For these reasons, the ISO/IEC published RTLS standard specification for compatibility and interoperability in RTLS. Therefore, in this paper, we designed and implemented Spatio-temporal Query Processing Systems for efficiently managing and searching the incoming Spatio-temporal data stream of moving objects. Spatio-temporal Query Processing Systems's spatio-temporal middleware maintains interoperability among heterogeneous devices and guarantees data integrity in query processing through real time processing of unceasing spatio-temporal data streams and two way synchronization of spatio-temporal DBMSs. Web Server uses the SOAP(Simple Object Access Protocol) message between client and server for interoperability and translates client's SOAP message into CQL(Continuous Query Language) of the spatio-temporal middleware.

  • In this paper, we suggest a network game system that can support video game based on multi-platform for multi-user video game, Latency occurring from the load fluctuation in realtime network game is overcomed by using an initial delay buffering scheme on client, when a real-fire game is played, and shows that stable play for a game is achieved as the result of the scheme. Also, We suggest a retransmission algorithm based on the history of game commands, and this Algorithm supplement shortcomings for packet loss and pocket error on UDP communication.

  • The role of Internet of Things (IoT) has been evolving from connectivity to intelligent and autonomous functions. The increase in the number of connected things and the volume of data has revealed the limit of cloud-based intelligent IoT. Meanwhile, the development of microprocessors for the IoT has enabled their intelligent decision making and reactions without the intervention of the cloud; this phase is referred to as the "autonomous IoT era." However, intelligence is not the only function of the IoT. When a cyber physical system (CPS) is running on the cloud, the real-time synchronization between the real and virtual worlds cannot be guaranteed. If a CPS is running on the IoT, both the worlds can be synchronized closely enough for a zero- time gap, i.e., achieving the goals of autonomous IoT. ETRI implements intelligence into the role of IoT and collaborates their decision making and reactions without the intervention of humans. Then, we focus on the development of a new IoT computing paradigm that enables human-like discussions.

  • Recently, Internet users have an interest about Social Media Service in Web2.0 environment. We suggest the orchestra service as social media service to meet user satisfactions in changed web environment. We accept a concept of the MMMD (Multiple Media Multiple Devices). In other words, Internet users listen to the music not only one device but multiple devices. Each one of multiple devices can play a sound source under earmark instruments for providing users with actual feeling like an orchestra. To meet the purpose, we define 3 steps. First, we separate the sound source based on instrument information. Second, we exact the suitable sound source for play orchestra. In final step, the sound source transmits to each suitable playing device. We named the 3 step for AET process. Beside we suggest synchronization method using rest point in the MIDI file for control sound sources. Using the AET process and synchronization method we provide the orchestra service for meet user's satisfactions to users.
