Lots of applications that represent and utilize geographic information on the Web have emerged on the Web. In addition, personal electronic devices equipped with GPS function, which can record personal location information in real time, are being increasingly adopted by people. Such geographic information enables Internet business companies to provide users more useful services based on the location information. Most successful Internet business companies have adopted and utilized Web 2.0 technologies, which promote users' participation and emphasize openness and information sharing. Especially, using open APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) can reduce the costs of a program development. In this study, we design and develop a banner advertisement system based on geographic information using open APIs. We propose a business model using the advertisement system, and a prototype system has been illustrated in order to explain the proposed business model. Finally, we summarize the benefits of our system by describing factors generating values of the proposed business model. Hopefully, main ideas proposed in this paper can be applied to real industry sectors that use geographic information widely such as travel, real estate and so on.

Currently, the world has known many innovative technologies created to bring users to interact using the internet. The latest buzzword attracting attention both from industry and academia is the metaverse. The metaverse is a virtual environment in which people used virtual reality and augmented reality devices to carry out numerous virtual activities. At first, metaverse applications were mostly virtual games, but now with advances in research, many other applications and technologies are integrating the metaverse among which manufacturing, real estate, healthcare, military, and many others. The proper operation of these applications requires some technologies like blockchain and artificial intelligence. In this paper, we investigate the role of blockchain and AI in the metaverse. This work aims to present the eventual use cases of these technologies in the metaverse regardless of their application domain.
Rapid advances in science and technology with exponential development of smart mobile devices, workstations, supercomputers, smart gadgets and network servers has been witnessed over the past few years. The sudden increase in the Internet population and manifold growth in internet speeds has occasioned the generation of an enormous amount of data, now termed 'big data'. Given this scenario, storage of data on local servers or a personal computer is an issue, which can be resolved by utilizing cloud computing. At present, there are several cloud computing service providers available to resolve the big data issues. This paper establishes a framework that builds Hadoop clusters on the new single-board computer (SBC) Mobile Raspberry Pi. Moreover, these clusters offer facilities for storage as well as computing. Besides the fact that the regular data centers require large amounts of energy for operation, they also need cooling equipment and occupy prime real estate. However, this energy consumption scenario and the physical space constraints can be solved by employing a Mobile Raspberry Pi with Hadoop clusters that provides a cost-effective, low-power, high-speed solution along with micro-data center support for big data. Hadoop provides the required modules for the distributed processing of big data by deploying map-reduce programming approaches. In this work, the performance of SBC clusters and a single computer were compared. It can be observed from the experimental data that the SBC clusters exemplify superior performance to a single computer, by around 20%. Furthermore, the cluster processing speed for large volumes of data can be enhanced by escalating the number of SBC nodes. Data storage is accomplished by using a Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS), which offers more flexibility and greater scalability than a single computer system.
As more people share their opinions in online communities, such as Internet portals and social networking services, more opinions are manipulated for the benefit of particular individuals and groups. In particular, when manipulations occur for political purposes, they influence election results as well as government policies and the quality of life. This type of manipulation has targeted the general public, and their analysis and detection has also focused on such manipulation. However, to more efficiently spread propaganda, recent manipulations have targeted common interest groups(e.g., a group of those interested in real estate) and propagated information whose content and style are customized to those groups. This work characterizes such manipulations on common interest groups and proposes method to detect manipulations. To this end, we collected and analyzed opinions posted on 10 common interest groups before and after an election. As a result, we found that manipulations on common interest groups indeed occurred and were gradually increasing toward the election date. We also proposed a detection system that examines individual opinions, their authors, and their collaborators. Using the collected opinions, we demonstrated that the proposed system can accurately classify more than 90% of manipulated opinions and that many of these opinions were posted by multiple collaborators. We believe that regular audits of opinions using the proposed system can quickly isolate manipulations and decrease their impact. Moreover, the proposed features can be used to identify manipulations in domains other than politics.
Purpose Recently, there has been an increase in attempts to analyze social phenomena, consumption trends, and consumption behavior through a vast amount of customer data such as web search traffic information and social buzz information in various fields such as flu prediction and real estate price prediction. Internet portal service providers such as google and naver are disclosing web search traffic information of online users as services such as google trends and naver trends. Academic and industry are paying attention to research on information search behavior and utilization of online users based on the web search traffic information. Although there are many studies predicting social phenomena, consumption trends, political polls, etc. based on web search traffic information, it is hard to find the research to explain and predict tourism demand and establish tourism policy using it. In this study, we try to use web search traffic information to explain the tourism demand for major cities in Gangwon-do, the representative tourist area in Korea, and to develop a nowcasting model for the demand. Design/methodology/approach In the first step, the literature review on travel demand and web search traffic was conducted in parallel in two directions. In the second stage, we conducted a qualitative research to confirm the information retrieval behavior of the traveler. In the next step, we extracted the representative tourist cities of Gangwon-do and confirmed which keywords were used for the search. In the fourth step, we collected tourist demand data to be used as a dependent variable and collected web search traffic information of each keyword to be used as an independent variable. In the fifth step, we set up a time series benchmark model, and added the web search traffic information to this model to confirm whether the prediction model improved. In the last stage, we analyze the prediction models that are finally selected as optimal and confirm whether the influence of the keywords on the prediction of travel demand. Findings This study has developed a tourism demand forecasting model of Gangwon-do, a representative tourist destination in Korea, by expanding and applying web search traffic information to tourism demand forecasting. We compared the existing time series model with the benchmarking model and confirmed the superiority of the proposed model. In addition, this study also confirms that web search traffic information has a positive correlation with travel demand and precedes it by one or two months, thereby asserting its suitability as a prediction model. Furthermore, by deriving search keywords that have a significant effect on tourism demand forecast for each city, representative characteristics of each region can be selected.
The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the cadastral transformation process of Dokdo-ri based on the institutional concept of the cadastre, while presenting the cadastral characteristics of Dokdo-ri therefrom. For this purpose, both the literature search method and the Internet search method were used. As for the analysis method, descriptive analysis method and comparative analysis method were used. The findings support that the cadastral characteristics of Dokdo-ri is drawn as follows: First, from the physical point of view, the cadastral characteristics of Dokdo-ri shows that the territory is given by the smallest lot numbers in the country and that the territory is also given by the land lot number consisting of small size lots without continuing the ground for which the cadastral resurvey project was carried out for the first time. Second, in terms of the rights, the cadastral characteristics of Dokdo-ri shows that the entire area given by the lots is owned by a single owner and no ownership has been changed. Third, in terms of its value, the cadastral characteristics of Dokdo-ri shows that it is the only area given by the lots of which the officially assessed individual land price has never been decreased in the entire lots. Fourth, when it comes to presenting the cadastral characteristics of Dokdo-ri in terms of the use control/restriction, the consciousness of preserving Dokdo-ri and the consciousness of enhancing real territory are confronted but due to the Cultural Heritage Protection Act etc, the cadastre turned out to be a very passive cadastral work.

Personalization is user oriented dynamic method based on user preferences for easy access to what users want to view or get. It has become more important in mobile domain with rapid growth of wireless Internet and mobile phone market after success of web based market and therefore, it can be applied to service of spatial analysis result. In this paper, spatial analysis using user profile and notification service methods are proposed as one of personalized spatial data service methods for mobile users. A service system for spatial analysis with user profile is designed to prove possibility of spatial analysis based on user preferences and notification service is also designedto show generated output can be sent to user's mobile devices efficiently to make users informed of preferred information. Prototype system is implemented and it is applied to real estate data that has many selectable conditions by users. Information service based on user preferences can be applied to spatial data by using proposed system and it is efficient when cache module is used to shorten response time. Various user models for application domains and performance evaluation methods need to be developed in the future.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to predict the criminal patterns and risks of conflicts caused by inequality such as weakening regional ties and social exclusion caused by climate change and present basic policy data to solve them. Method: This study was mainly conducted through analysis of contents and cases through the use of media information such as the Internet and newspapers, and some literature research. Result: The crime patterns and characteristics of climate gentrification are as follows. First, rising sea levels caused by climate change will temporarily increase crimes related to real estate speculation. Second, social exclusion due to public service and environmental inequality will intensify, leading to terrorist crimes such as riots and hate crimes. Third, due to the weakening of regional ties, young people in poverty in the region will participate in organized violence crimes such as drugs and gangs or become crime victims. Conclusion: Therefore, it is necessary to prepare policy countermeasures through cooperation with institutions. In particular, it is necessary to explore ESG policy measures in police activities in consideration of environmental factors in the future.

The purpose of this study is to discuss the impact of unmanned aerial vehicle service and how to activate it. The discussion on the impact of the introduction of the unmanned aerial vehicle service was examined in terms of economic, environmental, and social acceptance, and a plan to revitalize the industry was presented. In terms of economic impact, if transportation services are increased using unmanned aerial vehicles in the future, road-based transportation cargo may decrease and road movement speed may increase due to reduced road congestion. This can have a positive effect on the increase in the value of land or real estate assets, and it also provides an impact on smart city design. In terms of environmental impact, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) generally move through electricity, so they emit less exhaust gas compared to other existing devices, such as vehicles and railroads, and thus have less environmental impact. However, noise can have a negative impact on the habitat in the presence of wild animals along their migration routes. In terms of social acceptability of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) technology, areas that are declining due to the emergence of new services may appear, and at the same time, organizations that create profits may appear, causing conflicts between industries. Therefore, it is essential to form a social consensus on the acceptance of emerging industries. The government should come up with various countermeasures to minimize the negative impact that reflects the characteristics of the unmanned aerial vehicle use service. Just as various systems such as road signs were introduced so that vehicles can be operated on the ground to secure air routes in the mid- to long-term for revitalization of unmanned-based industries, development and establishment of services that should be introduced and applied prior to constructing air routes I need this. In addition, the design and implementation of information collection and operation plans for unmanned air traffic management in Korea and a plan to secure a control system for each region should also be made. This study can contribute to providing ideas for mid- to long-term research on new areas with the development of the unmanned aerial vehicle industry.

This study aims to, looking from a standpoint of network, has investigated the shipping industry's B2B e-marketplace, the characteristics that can earn electronic trust from the users, and characteristics of the web-site. It has examined the mechanism whereby electronic trust be earned and how it affects web-site involvement and service transaction intention. Ultimately, The study attempts to make proposals whereby such trust can lead for a cooperative trading community in the shipping industry's B2B e-marketplace The Covalence structural equation modeling was designed and empirically tested for the shipping industry's B2B e-marketplace. The shipping industry employees were given questionnaires and data were analyzed. Except for perceived security of the three characteristic factors on the web-site, the perceived site quality and characteristics factors in operation only affected co-variables. Transaction Fairness was determined to be the most important factor among exogenous factors increasing electronic trust. With regards to transaction rules, if a transaction is beneficial only to one side, then no long term transaction will not take place. If the concerned parties properly recognize that transaction fairness is crucial to electronic transaction, then it will enormously contribute to successful operations of shipping e-marketplace. Also, Perceived efficiency in transaction also affects electronic trust. This reduces transaction costs and speeds up and simplifies the transaction process. It has reduced greater time and costs than existing off-line transaction, and would positively affect electronic trust. By making an open forum for participants to obtain information for transaction, they can gather useful information, and at the same time, the web-site operator can provide information, which, in turn, will increase electronic trust in electronic transaction. Furthermore, such formation of trust in electronic transaction influences shipping companies in such a way that they will want to continuously participate in the transaction, raising web-site involvement. The result of increased trust is that shipping companies in the future will do business with each other and form a foundation for continuous transactions amongst themselves. Consequently, the formation of trust in electronic transaction greatly influences web-site involvement and service transaction intention. The results of the study have again proved that in order to maintain continuous business relationship with the current clients, electronic trust in virtual space, which operates the shipping industry's B2B e-marketplace, is important for the interested parties.
