For many companies, selling in an international market place is the ultimate challenge. One of the greatest problems facing exporters is the increasing insistence by importers that trade be conducted on open account terms. This often means that payment is received many weeks or even months after delivery. Unsurprisingly, many organisations find that giving buyers credit in this way can cause severe cash flow problems. Further problems can arise if the importer delays payment beyond originally agreed terms or makes no payment at all because of financial failure. In particular, many SMEs find it difficult to finance their production cycle, since after goods are delivered most buyers demand 30 to 90 days to pay. Therefore, International factoring for SME has been developing very rapidly in the world trade financing markets. Functions of international factoring as trade financing is a comprehensive financial service that includes credit protection, accounts receivable bookkeeping, collection services and financing. Factoring can be a powerful tool in providing financing to high-risk, informationally opaque sellers. International factoring is very helpful for international exporters to get competitiveness in the world markets. In Korea, a few banks are operating international factoring. But International factoring in Korea could not play a key roll as general trade supporting service. So, This study is to suggest importances of international factoring development for trade development and to investigate real operation situations and problems by way of interviews with operators in banks that are operating international factoring and suggest development strategies for international factoring in Korea.

Purpose : This study aimed to identify the educational effects of the International Development Cooperation and Healthcare course from 2018 to 2020. Methods : Changes in awareness of international development cooperation (understanding international development cooperation as well as government Official Development Assistance [ODA], thoughts on aid, and thoughts on government's aid scale) were analyzed using web-based surveys. The pre-course survey was conducted 1-2 weeks before the semester started, and the post-course survey was conducted 1-2 weeks after the semester ended. All data were analyzed using the SPSS 26.0 program, and statistical significance was set at p< .05. Results : A total of 314 people participated in the survey before taking the course, and 286 people participated in the survey after taking the course. Analysis of the changes in students' awareness of international development cooperation showed that all items (understanding international development cooperation and government ODA, as well as having thoughts on aid and government's aid scale) were improved. Regarding changes in awareness according to general characteristics, thoughts on aid were statistically significant according to all characteristics except for 2018. Regarding government's aid scale, awareness scores increased after taking the course in students who majored in healthcare, fine arts and athletics, broadcasting and media studies, and digital contents. Conclusion : This study showed that changes in awareness of international development cooperation were largest in second-year students. Compared to changes regarding international development cooperation, government ODA, and thoughts on aid, changes regarding thoughts on government's aid scale were minor. In the future, it is necessary to develop class content suitable for the first-year level and to supplement and operate content that can change the way of thinking on government's aid scale.

Economic globalization provides a good channel for the development of foreign trade around the world. Due to this background, this paper sets the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) countries as a sample to explore the importance of international logistics in foreign trade. An annual panel data from 2000 to 2017 will be used to conduct an empirical estimation under the panel unit root test and the fixed effect model. Foreign trade is treated as an explained variable and international logistics is treated as explanatory variables. The findings show that international logistics have a positive spillover effect on export trade and the speed of international logistics development has a regulatory effect on the relationship between both of them, which presents a U-shaped curve. When the speed of international logistics development is slow, an increase of it restrains the positive spillover effect of international logistics on export trade. However, when it rises to a certain extent, this increase releases the positive spillover effect of international logistics on export trade. As can be seen by the evidence that this paper provides, the impact of international logistics on foreign trade is dynamic. Moreover, this paper also puts forward some corresponding measures about the relationship between both of them.

Various extracts of roots, stems, and leaves of Phalaenopsis Sogo Yukidian 'V3' were evaluated for total phenolics, total flavonoids, and antioxidant capacity. The conjugate form of stem samples contained the highest total phenolics ($5.092{\pm}0.739mg$ gallic acid equivalent per g dry weight） and the highest total flavonoids ($2.218{\pm}0.021mg$ rutin equivalent per g dry weight) was found in the hexane extract of leaves. The ethyl acetate extract of roots showed the maximum antioxidant activity as compared to other extracts. Of which, the $IC_{50}$ value of this sample were 0.070 mg/mL and 0.450 mg/mL in the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical scavenging assay and reducing power, respectively, while the lipid peroxidation inhibition (LPI) value was as 94.2% by ${\beta}$-carotene bleaching method. Five phenolic compounds including caffeic acid, syringic acid, vanillin, ellagic acid, and cinnamic acid were quantified by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). It is suggested that roots of the hybrid Phalaenopsis Sogo Yukidian 'V3' can be explodited as an effective source of antioxidants.

In this study, we wanted to investigate and analyze the current status of international joint research conducted on researchers who have actually conducted or are doing international joint research and to identify difficulties in promoting international joint research based on this study and propose ways to promote future international joint research. As a result, autonomy of research subjects needs to be guaranteed for the revitalization of international joint research, establishment of international joint research guidelines and contract legal infrastructure, simplification and unification of administrative work system and supplementation of performance-related regulations will be necessary.

A country's participation in international technical standards development directly relates to its trade competitiveness. Many countries adopt international standards or influence their development process through the ISO/IEC. This study applies the ABCD Model to assess such activities through a constructed ITS index, not only in terms of 'level' of contribution but also in terms of 'process' participation that can give important implications related to the future potential influence of countries in standards development. Having examined seven countries, Korea showed the lowest score implying the need to enhance its performance in both 'international standards adoption' and 'internationalization of domestic standards'. Korea needs to more actively participate in currently on-going standards development processes, establish more offices that improve accuracy in the development, and consider participating in additional committees where domestic interests may potentially be at stake. Although KATS has improved greatly in regards to its relevant activities and database construction, a more active and specific plan must be made to allow its efforts to successfully influence Korea in international standards development. Confronted with strong challenges from directly competing countries in trade like China and Japan that showed better ITS scores, there is a need for Korea to step up its research and participation in this field.

On February 18, 2019, the Chinese government officially released the Outline of the Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, which will lead the country in a new round of reform and opening-up. The Greater Bay Area will become a dynamic world-class city cluster, an international scientific and technological innovation center with global influence, an important support for the development of the "One Belt And One Road", a demonstration area for in-depth cooperation between the mainland and Hong Kong and Macao, and a high-quality living area for living, working and traveling. Non-Pearl River Delta(Non-PRD) cities in Guangdong Province are adjacent to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, so it is of practical significance to promote the high-quality development of urban tourism from an international perspective. Based on the panel data released in Guangdong Yearbook 2019, this paper uses the envelopment data analysis (DEA) method to explore ways to promote the high-quality tourism development of Non-PRD cities in Guangdong Province based on the perspective of international development.

Recently, as the pandemic COVID-19 has been spread worldwide, international research cooperation has come to the fore to overcome the crisis and develop treatments. Currently, in Korea, with the support from the Ministry of Education and the Korea Research Foundation, the International Research Cooperation Information Center operates an online service system for international research cooperation as a venue for sharing results among international research cooperation researchers and invigorating such research. However, since Korea's performance in international research cooperation is still poor, actively pursuing measures to improve professionalism and diversity based on international cooperation is deemed necessary. Therefore, in this study, factors influencing the level of satisfaction with international research cooperation online service systems were identified, and measures to increase the satisfaction of international research cooperation online service were proposed based on the analysis results. Design of the system quality factors, accuracy and consistency of the information quality factors, and professionalism of the service quality factors were verified to have a significant effect on the satisfaction with international research cooperation online service systems. Accordingly, further strengthening the aspects of design, accuracy, consistency, and professionalism was proposed as a way to increase the satisfaction of international research cooperation online service systems.

Throughout the six decades evolution of the public diplomacy concept, international relations approaches have remained at the margins of the field. An important international relations theory that has been virtually non-existent in the public diplomacy literature is the English School of international relations. This theory has been the centerpiece of literature in diplomatic studies, but curiously, has not been applied to public diplomacy. In this editorial, I outline a public diplomacy framework for global governance issues that builds on the English School and Pamment's framework on the intersection of international development and public diplomacy.
