This study empirically investigates the factors influencing the intention to accept mobile technology in Saudi healthcare service delivery using the extended unified theory of acceptance and use of technology model (UTAUT) with perceived reliability and price value. Accordingly, a conceptual model combining behavioral constructs with those linked to the technology acceptance model is developed. This model aims to identify factors that predict patients' acceptance of mobile technology healthcare service delivery. The developed model is examined using responses obtained from a survey on 545 participants receiving healthcare services in Saudi Arabia. Thus, we have conceptualized the developed model and validated seven hypotheses involving key constructs. Results suggest that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, price value, and perceived reliability are direct predictors of user behavior to accept mobile technology in healthcare service delivery. The results provide empirical evidence to the literature on the effect of facilitating conditions and effort expectancy on mobile health (mHealth) adoption. The results show that the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly increased the adoption of mHealth services in Saudi Arabia.

Public healthcare has recently become an issue of great importance due to the exponential growth in the human population, the increase in medical expenses, and the COVID-19 pandemic. Speed is one of the crucial factors in saving life, particularly in case of heart attack. Therefore, a healthcare device is needed to continuously monitor and follow up heart health conditions remotely without the need for the patient to attend a medical center. Therefore, this paper proposes a portable electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring system to improve healthcare for heart attack patients in both home and ambulance settings. The proposed system receives the ECG signals of the patient and sends the ECG values to a MySQL database on the IoT-cloud via Wi-Fi. The signals are displayed as an ECG data chart on a webpage that can be accessed by the patient's doctor based on the HTTP protocol that is employed in the IoT-cloud. The proposed system detects the ECG data of the patient to calculate the total number of heartbeats, number of normal heartbeats, and the number of abnormal heartbeats, which can help the doctor to evaluate the health status of the patient and decide on a suitable medical intervention. This system therefore has the potential to save time and life, but also cost. This paper highlights the five main advantages of the proposed ECG monitoring system and makes some recommendations to develop the system further.

Information technology plays an important role in healthcare. The cloud has several applications in the fields of education, social media and medicine. But the advantage of the cloud for medical reasons is very appropriate, especially given the large volume of data generated by healthcare organizations. As in increasingly health organizations adopting towards electronic health records in the cloud which can be accessed around the world for various health issues regarding references, healthcare educational research and etc. Cloud computing has many advantages, such as "flexibility, cost and energy savings, resource sharing and rapid deployment". However, despite the significant benefits of using the cloud computing for health IT, data security, privacy, reliability, integration and portability are some of the main challenges and obstacles for its implementation. Health data are highly confidential records that should not be made available to unauthorized persons to protect the security of patient information. In this paper, we discuss the privacy and security requirement of EHS as well as privacy and security issues of EHS and also focus on a comprehensive review of the current and existing literature on Electronic health that uses a variety of approaches and procedures to handle security and privacy issues. The strengths and weaknesses of some of these methods were mentioned. The significance of security issues in the cloud computing environment is a challenge.

Various kind of ubiquitous healthcare services have been developed and tried in patient care and health care fields. Due to technical restrictions and not enough application practices, the service systems have been developed somewhat in ad hoc way. This paper describes the requirements for ubiquitous healthcare service systems most of which need to have and presents a ubiquitous healthcare service system architecture with which various ubiquitous healthcare services can be developed. It also introduces an application system for ubiquitous benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) patient care which has been developed based on the architecture.

Blockchain technology has emerged as one of the most crucial solutions in numerous industries, including healthcare. The combination of blockchain technology and cloud computing results in improving access to high-quality telemedicine and healthcare services. In addition to developments in healthcare, the operational strategy outlined in Vision 2030 is extremely essential to the improvement of the standard of healthcare in Saudi Arabia. The purpose of this survey is to give a thorough analysis of the current state of healthcare technologies that are based on blockchain and cloud computing. We highlight some of the unanswered research questions in this rapidly expanding area and provide some context for them. Furthermore, we demonstrate how blockchain technology can completely alter the medical field and keep health records private; how medical jobs can detect the most critical, dangerous errors with blockchain industries. As it contributes to develop concerns about data manipulation and allows for a new kind of secure data storage pattern to be implemented in healthcare especially in telemedicine fields is discussed diagrammatically.
Purpose: To make a contribution to raising the quality of nursing and home healthcare services through reviewing the present state of home healthcare nurse specialist training institutions and education programs and creating concrete measures to establish high-quality education courses. Method: International comparative study of accreditation criteria and curriculum in home healthcare nurse specialist program. Result: The Authorization Standards of home healthcare nurse training institutions consists of 8 items, 23 evaluation criteria and 72 evaluation indexes. Proposal to develop a specialist training program: Curriculum. Modify and complement a present homecare nurse education program. Curriculum I. Designate two forms of certification. The first certification has been granted the authority to serve as a manager and open a home healthcare agency to nurses having masters degrees and clinical experience for five years. The second certification is allowed to perform general home healthcare after having completed a short term training course. Currculum 2. Backgrounds/Aims: Current literature presents limited data regarding outcomes following conversion at the time of minimally invasive pancreaticoduodenectomy (MI-PD). Methods: The National Cancer Database was queried for patients who underwent pancreaticoduodenectomy. Patients were stratified into three groups: MI-PD, converted to open pancreaticoduodenectomy (CO-PD), and open pancreaticoduodenectomy (O-PD). Multivariable modeling was applied to compare outcomes of MI-PD and CO-PD to those of O-PD. Results: Of 17,570 patients identified, 12.5%, 4.2%, and 83.4% underwent MI-PD, CO-PD, and O-PD, respectively. Robotic pancreaticoduodenectomy (R-PD) resulted in a higher lymph node yield (n = 23.2 ± 12.2) even when requiring conversion (n = 22.4 ± 13.2, p < 0.001). Margin positivity was higher in the CO-PD group (26.6%) than in the MI-PD group (21.3%) and the O-PD (22.6%) group (p = 0.017). Length of stay was shorter in the MI-PD group (laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy 10.4 ± 8.6, R-PD 10.6 ± 8.8) and the robotic converted to open group (10.7 ± 6.4) than in the laparoscopic converted to open group (11.2 ± 9) and the O-PD group (11.5 ± 8.9) (p < 0.001). After adjusting for patient and tumor characteristics, both MI-PD (odds ratio = 1.40; p < 0.001) and CO-PD (odds ratio = 1.24; p = 0.020) were significantly associated with an increased likelihood of long-term survival. Conclusions: CO-PD does not negatively impact perioperative or oncologic outcomes.
