With the advent of the 5G, networks and information and communication technologies have been continuously developed. In the fields of art galleries, virtual reality (VR) exhibitions that can be visited online have emerged, innovating the way of human-computer interaction and creating new artistic experiences for users. This study explores the three-dimensionality, clarity, and innovative interactions that users experience when viewing a VR exhibit, which affects the exhibit's presence. Besides, in terms of research method, the research sets spatial participation and immersion as dependent variables, with three-dimensionality (high versus low), clarity (high versus low), and innovation (high versus low) in a 2×2×2 design as the base, and explores their interaction effects. The results show that three-dimensionality and innovative interactions affect spatial participation. First of all, in groups with high innovation and low three-dimensionality, spatial participation presents a higher positive factor. Secondly, with regard to immersion, three-dimensionality, clarity and innovation present a tripartite interaction. Groups with low three-dimensionality and high clarity have a higher positive effect on immersion when the level of innovation is low. When the degree of innovation is high, the positive effect on immersion is higher in groups with high three-dimensionality and low clarity. The above results show that in the production of VR exhibitions, it is necessary to increase the three-dimensionality and clarity of exhibited image contents, while taking into account the user's perception and innovativeness. On the other hand, this study puts forward suggestions for the design, content and future development of VR exhibitions, which has important reference significance for the improvement and innovation of future VR exhibitions.

The Korean National Commission for Unesco has helped Korean Unesco Associated Schools undertake environmental studies within the framework of education for international understanding, cooperation and peace from 1991 - 1993. The environmental studies enjoyed participation by nine Associated Schools among 35 throughout the country, with each school on a different theme each year. Environmental studies by the Unesco Associated Schools are differentiated from those by the former continues to work on environmental or Provincial Boards of Education. The former continues to work on environmental education, longer than 1 - 2 years, and they can also capitalize on the international networks of the ASP, which may be instrumental to understanding the worldwide nature of the environmental issues these days. This paper contains a breif explanation of the cases of environmental studies by level of education from primary to teacher education level. It is argued that through the study, the students of Unesco Associated Schools well recognize the seriousness of environmental problems facing mankind and will have positive attitudes and values towards the preservation of our environment. It is also argued that the studies result in a variety of useful teaching/learning methods for environmental education: students visit to polluted areas. survey, composition of works with environmental themes such as posters, poems, organization of discussion by the students on environmental problems, exhibition, international correspondence, etc. The studies also have produced various helpful reaching/learning materials : photos, slides, scrapbooks of articles on environmental issues from newspapers, etc. However, several problems also emerged through the studies. A few of them are described here ; First, focus on the extra-curricula activity rather than regular curricula results in the neglect of the knowledge base of environmental education. Second, only a part of the all 35 Associated Schools have participated in the project. Third, primary and first secondary students have difficulty in using foreign language which is vital for international activities.

This study analyzes convention tourism destination brand slogans focusing on the international convention cities. Data were collected from official tourism web sites of 190 cities which hosts more than ten international meetings in 2013. One hundred and six destination brand slogans were identified. Specifically, the researchers attempt to carry out content analysis of the linguistic and visual expressions of the slogans. Results indicated that in terms of linguistic expressions, most of slogans adopted word or phrase patterns pursuing brevity. In the brand slogan spectrum, nearly half of slogans are common type which didn't express destinations' specific attributes and benefits properly. And the most frequently used key words in the slogans are 'visit' and 'city'. While in terms of visual expressions, about 70% of slogans adopted typography for explicitness and 60% of them utilized human and natural resources as visual signs for building up unique images. Based on the results, implications for creating effective convention tourism destination brand slogans were also discussed.

The purpose of this paper is to make research on the trend of the worldwide medical device market, the trend of the medical device market in the major foreign countries, the present status of the medical device industry in Korea and Gangwon area, the present status of export competitive power and the SWOT analysis of competitive power of the medical device industry in Gangwon area, and the strengthening methods of export competitive power of the medical device industry in Gangwon area. As the research method, the questionaire for the strengthening of export competitive power of the medical device industry in Gangwon area was carried out from August 13 to Otober 22, 2009. The worldwide medical device market in 2008 is estimated at USD 210.2 billion, with the United States being the largest market, followed closely by Japan and Western Europe. In 2006, the worldwide export amount of medical devices recorded USD 121.1 billion and the worldwide import amount of medical devices recorded USD 126.3 billion. As of the end of 2008, the number of Korea's medical device manufacturers expanded to 1,726. The production amount of Korea's medical device industry in 2008 recorded 2,525 billion won, and the domestic market volume of medical devices in 2008 recorded 3,618 billion won. Korea's export amount of medical devices in 2008 recorded USD 1,132 million and recorded a 9.67% growth compared to the previous year, and the import amount of medical devices recorded USD 2,123 million and recorded a 1.43% reduction compared to the previous year. As of the end of 2008, the number of Gangwon area's medical device manufacturers expanded to 81. The production amount of Gangwon area's medical industry in 2008 recorded 380 billion won, and Gangwon area's export amount of medical devices recorded USD 269 million and recorded a 0.25% reduction compared to the previous year, and the import amount of medical devices recorded USD 3 million and recorded a 39.63% reduction compared to the previous year. According to the result analysis of the questionaire for the strengthening of export competitive power of medical device industry in Gangwon area(August 13~October 22, 2009), the competing country of the export medical device is the United States being the highest ranking. Comparing to the collective competitive power level 100 of the competing country, the collective competitive level of the export medical device is 60 below and 70-80 below being the highest ranking. Comparing to the quality level 100 of the United States, EU and Japan, the quality level of the export medical device is 80-90 below being the highest ranking. Comparing to the design level 100 of the United States, EU and Japan, the design level of the export medical device is 90-100 below being the highest ranking. Comparing to the technology level 100 of the United States, EU and Japan, the technology level of the export medical device is 80-90 below being the highest ranking. According to the SWOT analysis of competitive power of medical device industry in Gangwon area, the strength is the abundant expert manpower of the medical device in Wonju area. The weakness is the fragility of the brand recognition of the medical device industry. The opportunity is the demand increase of the new medical device owing to the advanced age of population. The threat is the difficulty of entry into overseas market owing to the request of the new specification certification of the medical device. In order to strengthen the export competitive power of the medical device industry in Gangwon area, the following measures should be taken by the government, local self-government body, related organization and medical device industry : the development of new technology and design, the enhancement of brand recognition. the acquisition of the foreign specification certification, the building of overseas distribution channel and after sales service channel, the positive participation in overseas medical device exhibition and opening of medical device exhibition, the training of expert manpower, the strengthening of overseas marketing, and the application of FTA and the establishment of counter measures against FTA. In conclusion, the medical device industry in Gangwon area has the difficulty in the entry into the overseas market owing to the shortage of overseas marketing capability. Therefore, the government and local self-government body should make the intensive and systematical support for overseas marketing of the medical device industry. For the support of overseas marketing, the government and local self-government body should provide positively the support of expenses for the acquisition of foreign specification certification, the support of participation in the overseas medical device exhibition, the despatch of market development mission, the increase of the support amount for R&D investment fund, and the training of expert manpower of medical devices.

This thesis is focused on the visitors varied experiences of the current museum architecture. The current trend and periodical development of visitors experiences are discussed by analyzing the factors such as the external symbol scheme, the exhibition space scheme, and the visitors circulation scheme which are involved with a visitors experience and thus classifying the experiences related to each sample museum. Examining and providing logical descriptions on each of the schemes helps comprehend the visitors varied experiences. This research, which deals with thoroughly understanding a museum as an architecture followed by taking visitors experiences into account, is aimed to contribute to improving visitors experiences in the course of designing a museum. The above-mentioned types of combination applied to each museum chosen for the research help understand the following : National museums show predominance of specific visitors experiences. As for the external symbol scheme, most of national museums have adopted the temple type, whereas international museums have equally adopted with the temple type and the showroom type which are characterized by its dedication to function and being in balance between contents and formalities.

This study suggests the holding of the 2015 Busan Harbour Registration Exposition in order to activate port & logistics industry, motivate Busan regional development and set up the long-term goal of local people. The SWOT analysis shows that the given conditions of Busan is competitive to attract the 2015 Busan Harbour Registration Exposition, which might be further strengthened for the competitiveness of the Port of Busan. The way to maximize the holding possibility of the EXPO, then, should be more emphasized for the successful implementation of the Pre-Expos periodically and successively by developing and planning perfectly logicality, differentiated subject and concept of the EXPO which accepted in the inside and outside of country.

Presidential records are produced and collected with regard to Presidents' performance of his duties. Presidential libraries provide the users with open reading, exhibition, education, and promotion services. To maximize utilization of Presidential records as knowledge and information contents, it is most important to build educational programs as active services available. In this context, this study conducts investigation of the current status of education programs of Korea and US Presidential libraries. And this study also examines and analyzes distinguishing programs of 13 Presidential libraries in the US in order to bring up necessity for active educational programs and suggest various possible education programs. The findings of this study can be utilized as the basic reference materials to use in the process of building and pursuing plans for educational programs of Presidential libraries or individual record centers.

A new experimental technique was developed on the plate-inserted welded tubular joints of spatial grid structures. In the experimental technique, a microcomputer controlling instrument of moire intervention (MCIMI) was adopted. A test was designed on the plate-inserted welded tubular joints of spatial grid structures to show the effectiveness of the MCIMI technique. Both traditional electrical measuring technique and MCIMI technique were employed in the test. The test results showed that the MCIMI technique was feasible in the case of the complicated tests on steel structures. The MCIMI technique not only implemented the limitation of traditional electrical measuring technique, but also improved the accuracy of the test. According to the test results, we further examined the plate-inserted welded tubular joints in the cable-stayed spatial grids of the Binhai International Convention & Exhibition in Tianjin, China. The analysis showed the joints are safely designed with adequate conservatism. The research provided a new application of MCIMI in the field of large-scale structure engineering.

The city of 'G' has been made a number of achievements with its science program as a part of public library's cultural program during the last 5 years. Recently, the national science centre has been established in the same city, the debate is now needed whether the science program in the public library have reasons to be maintained or to be reduced. The aim of this research is on the operating strategies of the science program in the public library. The research methods include case studies of operational strategies in domestic and foreign science centre, the level of satisfaction of local citizen on the science program, the vision of science program in the advancement of public library in the $21^{st}$ century. In results, the research proposes that the science program in public library should be maintained, but with locally characterised programs. In addition, the study also advised on the provision of scientific information, the strengthened search functions, and the development of user-centred services for those in science fields.
