예비천연건조가 잣나무 중목구조부재의 고온저습건조 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Reserve Air-Drying of Korean Pine Heavy Timbers on High-temperature and Low-humidity Drying Characteristics)

  • 최종함수율은 예비천연건조를 수행한 시험재에서 더 균일하게 건조가 가능하였으며, 예비천연건조 후 고온저습건조시 최종함수율은 초기함수율에 영향을 받는 것으로 사료된다. 재면할렬 억제 효과는 예비천연건조를 수행한 시험재에서 더 효과적인 것으로 조사되었으나, 예비천연건조 중 발생된 재면할렬에 의한 영향이 크기 때문에 예비천연건조 중할렬발생 억제가 중요할 것으로 판단된다. 부분엔드코팅은 내부할렬, 표면경화율, 비틀림, 수축율에 미치는 영향이 없는 것으로 조사되었다. 예비천연건조는 고온저습건조 중 내층에 발생하는 인장응력을 감소시켜 내부할렬의 발생을 매우 효과적으로 억제하고 표면경화율을 감소시키는 것으로 조사되었다. 비틀림의 경우 함수율감소에 따른 수축으로 인하여 비틀림의 정도가 증가되었다.

돼지 유전체 염기서열을 이용한 내인성 리트로 바이러스 분석에 관한 연구 (In silico Analysis of PERVs Based on the Porcine Genomic Sequence Information)

  • 본 연구는 현재까지 발표된 돼지의 genomic sequence 정보를 이용하여 PERV들의 정확한 삽입 위치를 파악하고 그들의 특성을 분석하고자 실시하였으며 총 2.7 Gb인 돼지 genome 염기서열 중 4.2%인 114 Mb의 염기서열에서 PERV sequence를 확인한 결과 총 8개의 PERV sequence를 확인할 수 있었다. 확인된 PERV sequence중 7개는 유전자내에 deletion이 확인되었으며 나머지 한 개의 PERV도 gag와 env 유전자에 stop codon이 확인되어 정상적인 PERV로 발현되지 않을 것으로 추정되었다. 본 연구는 돼지를 이용한 이종장기이식과 관련하여 PERV를 제어하기 위한 중요한 기초 연구 자료를 제공할 것으로 사료된다.

중국의 해양전략 (China's Maritime Strategy)

  • After Chinese reforms and market opening, China actively started working on ways to attach importance to the ocean and it's maritime strategy has been developed and carried out by external and internal factors. We can take two things as external factors attributed to China's marine strategy. The first one is maritime environment change in the East Asian region and the second one is the strategic importance of Taiwanese Straits and the South China Sea. And we can take about national strategy, security strategy, and change of foreign policy as internal factors. China recognizes the ocean as a major step to achieve a goal of national development. The main goal of China's marine strategy in the 21st century is to secure marine transportation and marine resources and to make peaceful maritime environment in the ocean to keep up with their economic development by opening itself to the world. China has strengthened their defense abilities to act against threat of national security by modernizing sea forces and increased national power by building up the marine power. It is expected that China will continue to seek more aggressive maritime strategy on matters of national security as well as pour heir efforts into making economic development and obtaining energy resources. This will also be one factor making new dynamics between countries in and around the East Asian region.

Optimized Conditions for Making Tea from Camellia(Camellia japonica) Leaf and Flower and Sensory Evaluation

  • Before making of tea, the number of leaf, plant height and node length in young shoot were 5.2, 14.9cm and 1,9cm respectively. These contents caused problems in leaf rolling and uniformity. No significant difference in quality and comoposition of roasted and steamed were observed, external shape and internal quality, however, were good from 1st to 3rd leaf. Chemical nutrition consists of leaf position, Total nitrogen content of terminal leaf was 4.88%, total free amino acid 21.12%, and caffein 3%. Vitamin C content was increased with increasing of leaf age. Making of roasted tea was required long time because camellia leaf was very hard and smoothly. Products had lower water color, perfume and taste. Internal quality of steamed tea was good in water color and taste. The contents of total nitrogen, total free amino acid, catechin, caffeine and vitamin C were 4.24%, 1.01, 17.7%, 2.6% and 75.7mg/ml.(중략)

습부압착 방식이 종이의 내부구조에 미치는 영향 (Influences of Wet-Pressing Types on Internal Structure of Paper)

  • To Increase the productivity of a paper machine, the maximization of the machine speed is a kind of simple way As the machine speed increases, more intense wet pressing is required to persist the outlet consistency of press part and reduce the water removal of dryer part. With more intense pressing, there are concerns that the quality of paper will be affected. This study was carried out to evaluate the influence of wet-pressing on internal structure of paper, The nip pressure at the first and third nip in triple nip press was controlled. Paper structures, strength properties and pore properties were evaluated. As a result, first nip pressure more strongly influenced the paper structural properties than third nip pressure in triple nip pressing condition. Because of the high water content and low wet-web strength of paper web in first nip, increasing the first nip pressure induced the incipient crushing of wet-web and then caused a potential of web break during the following coating or printing processes.

  • As electronic commerce is growing to be a part of everyday business life for companies, enterprises are required to establish the appropriate strategy to effectively realize their business visions. The correct choice of strategy enables organizations to make efficient use of internal resources and adjust to the external environment, affecting their performance. The nature of the firms' strategy has been currently focused on the new business model such as e-commerce. In the beginning of e-commerce, the decreasing cost of business transactions was a major benefit affecting its success. However, e-commerce firms are currently facing new advanced information technology, various business models and serious competition. To deal with these new challenges, there is an increasing demand for right strategy direction to effectively and efficiently manage a corporation's internal resources and external environments that are related to electronic commerce. Moreover, it is necessary both to set up the feasible strategy direction and to evaluate its outcome. The purpose of this study attempts to provide appropriate e-commerce strategy, which is well matched with e-commerce performance, as the different strategies affect different results of e-commerce. On the basis of the results of this research, we can see that the strategies selected by e-commerce companies differ according to the e-commerce type and firm's size.

Genetic Variation of Rice Populations Estimated Using nrDNA ITS Region Sequence

  • The rice belonging to Oryza sativa is not only has significant economic importance, for it is the major source of nutrition for about 3 billion all around the world. But also plays a vital role as a model organism, because it has a number of advantages to be a model plant, such as efficient transformation system and small genome size. Many methods and techniques have been conducted to attempt to distinguish different Oryza sativa species, such as amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP), random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD), simple sequence repeat (SSR) and so on. However, studies using sequence analysis of internal transcribed spacer (ITS), a region of ribosomal RNA has not been reported until now. This study was undertaken with an aim to understand the phylogenetic relationships among sixteen isolates of Oryza sativa collected from abroad and fifteen isolates collected from Korea, using ribosomal RNA (rRNA) internal transcribed spacer (ITS) sequences to compare the phylogeny relationships among different Oryza sativa species. The size variation obtained among sequenced nuclear ribosomal DNA (nrDNA) ITS region ranged from 515bp to 1000bp. The highest interspecific genetic distance (GD) was found between Sfejare 45 (FR12) and Anapuruna (FR15). Taebong isolate showed the least dissimilarity of the ITS region sequence with other thirty isolates. This consequence will help us further understanding molecular diversification in intra-species population and their phylogenetic analysis.

Ten New Recorded Species of Macrofungi on Ulleung Island, Korea

  • Ulleung Island is a biodiversity hotspot in South Korea. During a survey of indigenous fungal species from Ulleung Island conducted from 2015 to 2016, we discovered 10 unrecorded macrofungi in Korea. These macrofungi were identified to the species level using morphological features and phylogenetic analysis based on the internal transcribed spacer region: Deconica phyllogena, Mycena zephirus, Phaeomarasmius proximans, Phlebia radiata, Pluteus semibulbosus, Postia alni, Resinicium pinicola, Scytinostroma portentosum, Tricholomopsis flammula, and Tyromyces kmetii. We also provide detailed morphological descriptions for these 10 species.

國內 微分炭 火力發電所에서 바닥재 再活用을 위한 乾式 바닥재 處理시스템 導入의 經濟性 分析 (Economic Analysis of Dry Bottom Ash Handling System in a Pulverized Coal Thermal Power Plant in Korea)

  • 국내 석탄화력발전에서 발생되는 바닥재 재활용의 경제성을 평가하고자 신설 500 MW${\times}$2기 유연탄 화력발전설비를 대상으로 바닥재 재활용이 가능한 건식처리시스템 도입의 경제성을 충수중력식 습식처리시스템과 비교하여 검토하였다. 신규발전설비에 건식처리시스템 도입 시 시설투자비는 습식처리시스템의 약 150% 수준으로 초기투자비는 더 소요되나, 바닥재 재활용을 통한 판매이익을 고려한 연간시설운영비는 습식처리시스템의 약 17%까지 절감되는 것으로 예측하였다. 이를 기초로 경제성 분석을 수행한 결과 건식처리시스템 도입 시 추가로 소요되는 초기투자비는 4.8년에 회수가 가능하며 투자이익률은 21.1%로 평가되었다.

기후내적변동성을 고려한 추계학적 할증률 산정 (Estimation of stochastic factor of changes considering climate internal variability)

  • 자연재해대책법에 따라 방재성능목표를 달성하기 위해 행안부 및 지자체는 방재성능목표강우량을 설정·운영하고 있다. 현재, 기후변화로 인한 할증률을 산정하여 방재성능목표강우량 산정에 포함하고 있으나, 기후의 내적변동성으로 인한 강수의 변화는 반영하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기후변화뿐만 아니라, 엘리뇨, 라니뇨, ENSO 등과 같이 지구의 내적인 원인들로 인해 변화하는 기후내적변동성(Climate Internal Variability, CIV)을 추가적으로 고려하여 할증률 개념을 확장하고자 한다. 외부의 Forcing 변화(즉 기후변화)가 없더라도 자연적으로 기후가 변동하는 현상을 모의하기 위해, 크게 3개 동역학적, 통계학적, 추계학적 방법들이 적용되어 기후내적 변동성을 정량화하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기후에 대한 일기를 추계학적으로 오랜 기간 동안 생성하고 생성된 시계열을 바탕으로 자연적인 변동성을 추출(Stochastic Approach)하는 방법을 사용하여 기후내적변동성을 추정할 것이다. 구체적으로, 생성된 앙상블 시계열에 Detrended 방법과Differenced 방법을 각각 적용하여 기후내적변동성의 크기를 정량화하고 상호 비교할 예정이다. 정량화된 기후내적변동성의 크기는 추계학적 할증률로 변환될 것이며 방재성능목표강우량 산정에 포함시켜 과거 기왕최대강우량을 갱신하는 지역에 대한 위험도를 추가로 제시할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
