Increasing affectability of high-speed Internet and convenient access devices has made the Internet a major source of information search and sharing. As the provision of information has rapidly becomes an important and viable business model, the objective utility and marketability of information contents have become a focus of interest among many academicians and managers. Researchers have traditionally focused on the design of the interface, availability of resources, network accessibility, the format of web sites and their underlying systems. However, the usefulness of contents has been left as a little explored issue. To correctly diagnose and pursue the viability of contents provision business a shift of perspective is required : a shift from technology-oriented perspective toward user-oriented perspective, and a shift from form and design focus toward content focus. This research attempted to analyze consumer-oriented information quality in a more systematic way by focusing on a limited domain travel-related information contents. We proposed a relationship among consumers'behavior, characteristics of information, and the values of information measured by users. An empirical examination of the model was performed using a survey on Internet users in Korea. Implications are drawn for managers responsible for creating marketable contents.

On the matter in line with NCW(Network Centric Warfare) and information age, the military is on an efficient-expanding trend as sharing with status and information promptly through the various and complex exchange of messages and the voice communication between operators, using a highly efficient operating console. The recording devices that record an operational situation to plan a new operation through the mission analysis and result reviews after finishing military operation or training are developed and operated. Recording method is classified into two groups. one is the direct recording of video data for screen, another is the recording of an exchange of data. This study proposes the new data-oriented recording method to reduce the readiness time for replay and the improvement scheme.

High performance net재rking is one of key factors to provide support for data intensive applications in the Internet. Extended frame size has a major impact on end to-end performance with increasing effective TCP throughput and decreasing system overhead. Most of the research about extended frames has focused on local area network performance and the impact that extended frame size has on the system elements including memory, network interface card and so forth. In the paper, we analyse the effects of the extended frames to the other traffic flows sharing Internet paths for the wide area performance of TCP by conducting various network simulations. Results show that securing available bandwidth in no loss and low delay networks is indispensable to exploit the efficiency of extended frames.

This paper aims to not giving one time pleasure nor curiosity, but applying and sharing philosophical discourse for contemporary citizens with reflectivity in a realm of media art. This paper shows the result from the class which the author conducted with philosophical discourse, case analysis, ideation and progress into practical works. Through the process of doing ideation and realization of media art work with students, this paper shows that theory and practice can be harmonized and penetrated into deeper level with diverse interface experiments.

This study aims to reflect experts' opinions in analyzing a design thinking as foundation of multidisciplinary education. For this purpose, a delphi survey was conducted with 20 experts in three sessions from May 1 to June 25, 2012. To analyze the collected data, descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, the mean, and standard deviation were implemented, and internal reliability test on the survey instrument was carried out for statistical processing. The main results are as follows : First, the delphi analysis on intuitive thinking of design thinking suggested 7 items(to pursue the possibility of outside, to pursue the possibility of applying new forms of technology, content planning, facing a complex real-world phenomena etc.). Second, the delphi analysis on logical thinking of design thinking suggested 7 items(executed repeatedly, reasoning and verification, artificial intelligence, a decision support system etc.) Third, the delphi analysis on subjective thinking of design thinking suggested 9 items(user experience measuring, user satisfaction ratings, user requirements analysis, user interface design, behavioral responses of the human etc.). Fourth, the delphi analysis on objective information of design thinking suggested 8 items(information management system, simulation, production process, information exchange and sharing etc.). According to the results of the delphi analysis, design thinking can be seen as the foundation of multidisciplinary education. Suggestions were made for discussion about the main results and further researches.

It is very important to share tactical information such as video, images, and text messages among soldiers for situational awareness. Under the wireless environment of the battlefield, the available bandwidth varies dynamically and is insufficient to transmit high quality images, so it is necessary to minimize the distortion of the area of interests such as targets. A natural operating method for soldiers is also required considering the difficulty in handling while moving. In this paper, we propose a natural ROI(region of interest) setting and image compression method for effective image sharing among soldiers. We verify the proposed method through prototype system design and implementation of eye gaze detection and ROI-based image compression.

Recently, security incidents are growing rapidly in which internal employees let the drawing leak out to competitors or other countries. This type of security incidents has a characteristic that it occurs less frequently than other types of security incidents such as network or server security incident, but the damage is a lot more serious. The existing information security technologies to prevent internal information from being leaked out are only applicable to general documents(office documents, web pages and image files in which data are encrypted one by one). However, architectural drawings made up of collection of files with various formats(extensions) have problems with the process speed of en(de) cryption and accuracy, so the developments of security technologies by new methods are required. In this study, we design and develop a security technology based on work area with which users can protect the leakage of critical information in the kernel level while maintaining their work environment when they have to use sharing information that cannot be managed by the unit of file. As a result, we developed the "Virtual Secure Disk" which allows only authorized users and applications to have an access to drawings, and have verified its security by applying it to the actual company.

The paper combines two distinct parts. First the behavior of welded headed studs with small diameters of 10 and 13 mm acting as shear connectors (which are not embraced in current standards) is studied. Based on standard push tests the load-slip relationships and strengths are evaluated. While the current standard (Eurocode 4 and AISC) formulas used for such studs give reasonable but too conservative strengths, less conservative and full load-slip rigidities are evaluated and recommended for a subsequent investigation or design. In the second part of the paper the partially encased beams under bending are analyzed. Following former experiments showing rather indistinct role of studs used for shear connection in such beams their role is studied. Numerical model employing ANSYS software is presented and validated using former experimental data. Subsequent parametric studies investigate the longitudinal shear between steel and concrete parts of the beams with respect to friction at the steel and concrete interface and contribution of studs with small diameters required predominantly for assembly stages (concreting). Substantial influence of the friction and effect of concrete confinement was observed with rather less noticeable contribution of the studs. Distribution of the longitudinal shear and its sharing between friction and studs is presented with concluding remarks.

Next Generation Weapon system from the center of the platform to share information in real-time Network Centric Warfare(NCW: Network Centric Warfare) has been changed. Data link system is defined as a network. That is, all in real-time battlefield information is to enable sharing. Data link system is classified as a precision strike, Monitoring/control, control of a Patriot missile battery systems. These systems are most effective in a Joint warfare and precision strike. Data Link Systems(Data Communications) implementation is accomplished by using the KDLM(Korean Data Link Modem) and Radio Transceiver. KDLM is operated in conjunction with the legacy Radios(re-using fielded HF/VHF/UHF radio systems). In this paper, we describe in terms of KDLM system design. In this paper, the proposed design structure is how to effectively interact with legacy various radio. First, The results provide an analysis of that Dynamic TDMA system and apply modem structure. Radio characteristics data are necessary for an effective TDMA system design. This article analyzes the test results and describes the structure to improve the receive performance.

계산과학공학은 사용자에게 다양한 계산 공학 문제의 해결을 위한 수치적 해석을 컴퓨터 자원을 이용하여 해셕 결과를 도출해 내는 과정이다.현재 EDISON 서비스의 시뮬레이션 환경은 통합적인 하나의 소프트웨어로 구성되어 있지 않고 각 모듈 별로 서비스를 연계하고 데이터를 공유할 수 있도록 시스템 플랫폼을 구축하고 있는 중이다. 하나의 계산과학공학 시뮬레이션 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 각 모듈간의 유기적인 서비스 공유가 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 각 모듈간의 서비스 공유 및 시스템 리소스 사용을 위해 모듈간의 커뮤니케이션을 위한 인터페이스를 설계하고, 각 시스템 모듈을 등록하여 플랫폼 내 시뮬레이션 시스템을 구축하였다.
