  • I developed a computer program that can be used in studying the human anatomy. The program not only displays anatomical images, but also it gives some questions about the name of organs in the human body and evaluates tile answers. The program helps students scrutinize the detailed human anatomy by providing a way of interactive zooming anatomical images. To make the program more useful, better anatomical images need to be collected, and a context-sensitive search-and-view facility should be equipped with.

  • The spreadsheet Microsoft Excel is the most widely used mathematical tool in today's workplace. Moreover, it is also an outstanding means for developing a surprisingly wide range of creative and innovative educational uses within such areas as mathematical modeling, visualization, and instruction. The spreadsheet's format provides us with a tool that closely parallels the way in which we naturally carry out problem solving, while the spreadsheet creation process itself illuminates the underlying mathematical concepts. In addition, the spreadsheet's visual layout allows us to introduce a broad variety of challenging and interesting topics, and to design creative demonstrations through eye-catching animated graphics. The material presented comes from actual classroom mathematics teaching experience in both industrially advanced and developing nations. A series of highly visual interactive illustrations from mathematics, the natural and social sciences, computing, engineering, and the arts provide a number of usable examples. The material discussed is applicable at diverse levels, ranging from schools and universities through adult education and in-service teacher development programs.

  • With progress of informationalization, education has been transformed from traditional uni-direction education to bi-directional and consumer-oriented education, which is performed by learner's self study and interactive education of multiple dimension between a learner and contents, between a learner and a teacher, and between a learner and a learner irrespective of space-time. According to this trend, a new education method has been required. Therefore, in this paper, we will propose real-time consumer-oriented distance education system of making interaction maximum using WBI. In this system, a learner can participate in an individual study case by multiple interaction with a learner's designing and plaining study, and also participate in group study case by way of discussion and conversation among participants.

  • Smart Education began with the smart generation. But It did not activated and stopped Provisionally. Because Digital contents for smart education are low quality, and education devices are expensive. In this paper, we analyze compatibility and usability of essential digital textbook and device in smart education. Through this paper to indicate the optimum effectiveness in using a limited budget. To activate the smart education spread again. To enhance its position as the home of Smart Education. Improve the quality of education and to contribute to the future development of the nation.

  • Undergraduate thesis contains overall results that students has acquired to express their ability during four university years. Undergraduate thesis includes an ability to apply knowledge of engineering, communicate engineering logic and thinking effectively, and use the techniques, skills for engineering practice. In terms of an assessment tool for program outcomes, undergraduate thesis provides the results of the student with authentic, reflective, interactive and individuals features. Also undergraduate thesis provides an opportunity of improvement about curriculum and engineering program. To apply the excellency of undergraduate thesis, the principle of undergraduate thesis should be understood well and reflected the real state of engineering education. The basic concept of undergraduate thesis as a assessment tool of engineering program outcomes has been introduced. The rubrics for measuring of a specific outcome was also suggested.

  • To improve the accuracy and realism of the virtual surgical simulation system, this paper proposes an optimized mass-spring model with shape restoration ability based on volume conservation to simulate soft tissue deformation. The proposed method constructs a soft tissue surface model that adopts a new flexion spring for resisting bending and incorporates it into the mass-spring model (MSM) to restore the original shape. Then, we employ the particle swarm optimization algorithm to achieve the optimal solution of the model parameters. Besides, the volume conservation constraint is applied to the position-based dynamics (PBD) approach to maintain the volume of the deformable object for constructing the soft tissue volumetric model base on tetrahedrons. Finally, we built a simulation system on the PHANTOM OMNI force tactile interaction device to realize the deformation simulation of the virtual liver. Experimental results show that the proposed model has a good shape restoration ability and incompressibility, which can enhance the deformation accuracy and interactive realism.

  • In this study, the newly designed course related to creative problem solving is introduced. According to the characteristics of multimedia engineering, the Alice, which is well known as an effective 3D interactive authoring tool, is adopted as the supporting tool to validate the accomplishment of study goals set up for software design. Each creative problem solving phase could be clearly implemented and its expected performance could be evaluated efficiently by using Alice. The result of curricular implementation and performance evaluation is shown.

  • There have been great advances in communication and networking in recent times. It is necessary to take advantage of this information infrastructure for the purpose of developing an engineering education system. But the networking system was expensive and hard to develop. The current international netwoking is converging to the use of the World Wide Web system. It has become a new standard for global network communication. But there are not a great number of applications which take full advantage of this environment. In this paper, an interactive virtual electrical machine lab system using the World Wide Web will be presented. This can be used as a supplementary kit for engineering experiment of transformer, induction motor, direct current motor, and synchronous motor. The system is developed using JAVA and can be accessed using Web browsers.

  • Computer-based learning with the access to World Wide Web has become a fundamental base for adopting beneficial education. It provides significant facilities such as animation and interactive processes that are not possible with textbooks. Web/Internet-enabled applications which is fully controlled and monitored from remote locations are extensively used by a number of Universities, national laboratories and companies for different kinds of applications all over the world. Continuous advances in computers and electronics coupled with drooping prices of hardware have made Web/Internet-based technologies less costly than before, particularly for educational organizations. Thus, it is more affordable to invest in these technologies that are essential for both expanding education over Web and further improving and advancing such technologies the application of remote virtual instruments will be demonstrated in this context along with experiments that can be adopted to be educational experimental lab for Engineering Education students.

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop simulations that can be used for virtual education in dentistry. This development goal is to allow dental students to learn the necessary surgical techniques at the point of their choice, not going into the operating room, away from time, space, and physical limits. In this paper configuration, the optimization method is applied convergent, and when the operation of the VR contents is performed, the content data is extracted from the interaction analysis formed in the VR engine, and the data is processed by the content algorithm. It also computes events and dental operations generated within the 3D engine programming and generates corresponding events through data processing according to the input signal. The visualization information is output to the HMD using the rendering information. In addition, the operating room environment was constructed by studying lighting and material for actual operating room environment. We applied the ratio of actual space to virtual space and the ratio between character and actual person to create a spatial composition at a similar rate to actual space.
