"Interactivity refers to the possibility of an audience actively participating in the control of an artwork or representation." Andy Cameron, Dissimulations Interaction can be described as a way or function that improves the participation of audiences/viewers to being immersed into the medium itself. Until now, however, in terms of interactive cinema, interaction has not shown a sufficient participation for audiences. Specifically, audiences/viewers described that the structure of storytelling has failed to satisfy their requirements, in order to participate in the structure of storytelling. The aim of the research itself, therefore, began to ask and wonder why audiences/viewers criticised the participation which audiences/viewers are able to control storytelling, in interactive cinema, could not satisfied them in order to control and follow a storyline of interaction. In general idea, in interactive cinema, the function which allows audiences/viewers to be immersed into the storylines, must allow the immediacies of interaction. Audiences/viewers must therefore be able to satisfy the general idea of interactive cinema through controlling the directions of every choice offered. They must also be able to be immersed in the interactive storylines. Which of the prime causes can be improved or re-considered, to satisfy the participation requirements of audiences/viewers? The intention of this research also began to investigate a suitable method of storytelling within a narrative structure of interactive medium (interactive cinema). Through questioning the matter (it will be described in a later chapter), this research will be focused on the relationship between narrative structured interaction and audiences/viewers, which is of prime importance in relation to interaction. To further the research, Pilot study (experiment with the basic interactive narrative structure) was offered in order to understand and maintain a suitable method of storytelling within a narrative structure of interactive cinema and it also was explored to understand how the aim of the research would be maintained for further qualitative research.
Functional prediction of unannotated proteins is one of the most important tasks in yeast genomics. Analysis of a protein-protein interaction network leads to a better understanding of the functions of unannotated proteins. A number of researches have been performed for the functional prediction of unannotated proteins from a protein-protein interaction network. A chi-square method is one of the existing methods for the functional prediction of unannotated proteins from a protein-protein interaction network. But, the method does not consider the topology of network. In this paper, we propose a novel method that is able to predict specific molecular functions for unannotated proteins from a protein-protein interaction network. To do this, we investigated all protein interaction DBs of yeast in the public sites such as MIPS, DIP, and SGD. For the prediction of unannotated proteins, we employed a modified chi-square measure based on neighborhood counting and we assess the prediction accuracy of protein function from a protein-protein interaction network.
An efficient and accurate algorithm is proposed to evaluate the reliability of cable-stayed bridges accounting for soil-pile interaction. The proposed algorithm integrates the finite-element method and the response surface method. The finite-element method is used to model the cable-stayed bridge including soil-pile interaction. The reliability index is evaluated based on the response surface method. Uncertainties in the superstructure, the substructure and load parameters are incorporated in the proposed algorithm. A long span steel cable-stayed bridge with a main span length of 1088 m built in China is considered as an illustrative example. The reliability of the bridge is evaluated for the strength and serviceability performance functions. Results of the study show that when strength limit states for both girder and tower are considered, soil-pile interaction has significant effects on the reliability of steel cable-stayed bridges. Further, a detailed sensitivity study shows that the modulus of subgrade reaction is the most important soil-pile interaction-related parameter influencing the reliability of steel cable-stayed bridges.

The purpose of this study was to characterize the genetic contribution to endothelial adaptation to exercise training. Vasoreactivity was assessed in aortas from four inbred mouse strains (129S1, B6, NON, and SJL) after 4 weeks of moderate intensity continuous exercise training (MOD), high intensity interval training (HIT) or in sedentary controls (SED). Intrinsic variations in endothelium-dependent vasorelaxation (EDR) to acetylcholine (ACh) as well as vasocontractile responses were observed across SED groups. For responses to exercise training, there was a significant interaction between mouse strain and training intensity on EDR. Exercise training had no effect on EDR in aortas from 129S1 and B6 mice. In NON, EDR was improved in aortas from MOD and HIT compared with respective SED, accompanied by diminished responses to PE in those groups. Interestingly, EDR was impaired in aorta from SJL HIT compared with SED. The transcriptional activation of endothelial genes was also influenced by the interaction between mouse strain and training intensity. The number of genes altered by HIT was greater than MOD, and there was little overlap between genes altered by HIT and MOD. HIT was associated with gene pathways for inflammatory responses. NON MOD genes showed enrichment for vessel growth pathways. These findings indicate that exercise training has non-uniform effects on endothelial function and transcriptional activation of endothelial genes depending on the interaction between genetic background and training intensity.
Using the steady state gains, an appropriate criterion used for the interaction analysis among variables and the loop pairing is suggested. Based upon the suggested criterion derived from the derivative relation of implicit function, the SISO pairing which has minimum interaction among control system variables and good control performance can be determined. The relative effect among diagonal gains and off-diagona gains, which was not considered in other criteria, can be explained deterministically Also, the criterion can be easily applied to partial MIMO pairing. This criterion was applied to several examples to illustrate its usefulness in finding the feasible SISO pairing and MIMO pairing
Testis brain RNA-binding protein (TB-RBP) is a DNA/RNA binding protein. TB-RBP is mainly expressed in testis and brain and highly conserved protein with several functions, including chromosomal translocations, DNA repair, mitotic cell division, and mRNA transport, stabilization, and storage. In our previous study, we identified TB-RBP as an interacting partner for the catalytic subunit $(C{\alpha})$ of protein kinase A(PKA) and verified their interaction with several biochemical analyses. Here, we confirmed interaction between $C{\alpha}$. and TB-RBP in mammalian cells and determined the effect of $C{\alpha}$. on the function of TB-RBP. The activation of $C{\alpha}$. increased the TB-RBP function as a DNA-binding protein. These results suggest that the function of TB-RBP can be modulated by PKA and provide insights into the diverse role of PKA.
The transported probability density function(PDF) model has been applied to simulate the turbulent nonpremixed piloted jet flame. To realistically account for the mixture fraction PDF informations on the turbulent non-premixed jet flame, the present Lagrangian PDF transport approach is based on the joint velocity-composition-turbulence frequency PDF formulation. The fluctuating velocity of stochastic fields is modeled by simplified Langevin model(SLM), turbulence frequency of stochastic fields is modeled by Jayesh-Pope model and effects of molecular diffusion are represented by the interaction by exchange with the mean (IEM) mixing model. To validate the present approach, the numerical results obtained by the joint velocity-composition-turbulence frequency PDF model are compared with experimental data in terms of the unconditional and conditional means of mixture fraction, temperature and species and PDFs.

We manipulate properly the partition function of the surface system to evaluate an adsorption isotherm. We explain the dependence of strong interaction on the surface phase transition via analysis of the derived adsorption isotherm. Our theoritical results for adsorption well reflect to the experiments.
The natural convection heat transfer in a vertical plate with discrete heat sources was studied experimentally. The particular interest was the thermal interaction of the heat sources. In this study, the radiative and conductive heat transfer were considered as heat loss, Thus, the net convective heat transfer rate was presented as adiabatic temperature and thermal wake function. As a results, for non-uniform heating condition, heat input ratio(q1/q2) was most dominant parameter for the thermal wake function. The convective heat transfer rate is decreased with the increasing of channel ratio. For the range of $7.50{\times}10^5<Rac<8.66{\times}10^6$, a useful correlation was proposed as a function of channel Rayleigh number.
The aim of this study was to examine the effect of a brisk walking intervention for 8weeks on isokinetic muscular function factor(strength, power, endurance). The following results were found from the current study: First, Isokinetic muscle function(strength, power, endurance) on $60^{\circ}/sec$ in extension and flexion was significant exercise group and interaction in left knee flexion and right knee extension(P<.00l). Secondly, Isokinetic muscle function(strength, power, endurance) on $120^{\circ}/sec$ in extension and flexion was significant exercise group and interaction in left knee flexion and right knee extension(P<.001). Thirdly, Isokinetic muscle function(strength, power, endurance) on $180^{\circ}/sec$ in extension and flexion was significant exercise group and interaction in left knee flexion and right knee extension(P<.001). Considering the above result of the study the brisk walking had more improvement knee flexor and extensor muscular power. Therefore the brisk walking in the study can be proposed as effective plan to prevention hurt from a sarcopenia and to raise quality in life.
