열 이온화 질량분석기를 이용한 Ru 동위원소 측정 및 동중원소 영향 보정 (The isobaric effect correction and measurement of the Ru isotopes by thermal ionization mass spectrometry)

  • 열 이온화 질량분석을 이용한 루테늄(Ru) 동위원소 비 측정은 루테늄의 이온화 포텐셜이 높고 산화상태로 휘발이 일어나 시료가 쉽게 소모되어 안정된 이온피크를 얻기가 어렵다. 따라서 이온화 효율을 높이고 안정적 이온생성을 위한 실험과 질량분석에 사용되는 레늄(Re) 필라멘트에 함유된 불순물들에 의한 동중원소 영향을 검토하였다. 질량분석에서 double filament를 사용하는 것 보다는 single filament를 사용하는 것이 더 안정적 이온 피크를 얻을 수 있었을 뿐만 아니라 몰리브데넘(Mo)에 의한 동중원소 영향도 작았다. 또한 필라멘트 온도를 필요이상 높이면 높일수록 동중원소 영향이 큼을 알 수 있었다. 즉, 불순물로 함유된 Mo이 Ru 동위원소 비 측정에 큰 영향을 주었다. 특히 필라멘트 온도를 일정한 시간 간격을 두고 서서히 올려주는 것이 안정된 피크를 얻는데 매우 중요함을 알 수 있었다. Mo으로부터 오는 동중원소 영향을 $^{94}Mo/^{99}Ru$ 비를 측정하여 보정함으로써 Ru 동위원소 비를 정확히 측정할 수 있었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 193nm의 ArF excimer laser 광원과 0.65의 NA를 갖는 광학계에서 기본 선폭이 $0.1{\mu}m$이고 duty ratio 가 1:1인 dense line & space(LS) 패턴에 대하여 여러사입사 조명 조건에 따른 초점심도(Depth of Focus; DOF)와 cutoff intensity를 확인하고 기본 capacitor 패턴에서 광학적 근접효과 보정을 위한 hammer head형 보조 패턴의 크기와 여러사입사 조건에 다른 DOF와 cutoff intensity의 변화에 대하여 알아보았다. 그결과 0.1$\mu$m급의 dense 패턴 구현을 위해서는 전형적인 X자형 사구 조명보다는 십자(+)형 사구 조명이나 환형조명이 보다 효과적인 것을 알수 있었다. 이와 더불어 보조 패턴의 크기가 약간 변한다 하더라도 일정한 초점심도와 cutoff intensity를 유지하는 경향을 보이는 특정한 조명 조건이 존재함을 밝히고 그에 따라 최적의 조명 조건과 보조 패턴의 크기에 대하여 알아보았다.

  • 본 논문에서는 홀로그래픽 데이터 저장시스템에서 발생되는 공간적 빔 세기의 불 균일성 때문에 발생되는 에러를 줄이기 위한 수정된 패리티 코딩기법들을 소개한다. 일반적인 패리티 코딩과 수정된 패리티 코딩 기법들에 대한 인코딩과 디코딩 방법에 대해 설명하였으며, 실험결과로부터 패리티 코딩과 수정된 패리티 코딩기법들의 bit-error-rate(BER)성능을 비교하였다.

Cs-137 점선원을 이용한 감쇠보정기법들에 대한 평가 (Assessment of Attenuation Correction Algorithms With a $^{137}$Cs Point Source)

  • 본 연구는 전신 GSO PET 스캐너를 사용하여 Cs-137 투과 선원을 이용한 감쇠보정기법들을 평가하는 것이다. 이를 위하여, 4개의 모양이 다른 팬텀들을 사용하여 감쇠보정기법들을 검사하였다. 뇌영상을 위하여 256 mm의 시야가 사용되었고, 약 110MBq의 F-18 선원이 팬텀실험을 위해 사용되었다. 감쇠를 보정하기위해서, 방출선원이 팬텀에 주입된 후, Cs-137점선원의 투과 스캔 데이터가 획득되었다. 방출선원 데이터는 산란보정을 하였고, 4가지 종류의 감쇠보정기법을 이용하여 감쇠보정을 하였다. 재구성된 팬텀 영상들이 비교평가되었고, 임상 뇌영상은 핵의학 의사들이 평가를 하였다. 결과적으로 균일성 평가를 위한 원형팬텀의 영상에서, 측정감쇠보정기법을 이용시 가운데 부분이 떨어져 보였으나, 나머지 감쇠보정 기법들에서는 균일하게 보였다. 임상 뇌 데이터의 경우, 두개골에 대한 감쇠 효과를 볼 수 있었고, 두개골에 대한 감쇠보정이 적용되지 않은 영상에서는 인공산물이 발생하는 것을 보여주었다. 결론적으로, 정량적 뇌영상에 대한 정확도를 높이기 위해서, 두개골에 대한 감쇠보정이 적용된 개선된 감쇠보정 방법이 요구되어진다. 본 연구는 앞으로 Cs-137 점선원을 이용한 감쇠보정기법이 포함된 뇌 PET 영상 장치를 개선하는데 유용할 것으로 사료된다.

  • Time-of-flight(ToF) cameras deliver intensity data as well as range information of the objects of the scene. However, systematic problems during the acquisition lead to distorted values in both distance and amplitude. In this paper we propose a method to acquire reliable distance information over the entire scene correcting each information based on the other data. The amplitude image is enhanced based on the depth values and this leads depth correction especially for far pixels.

Eletromyographic Activities of Trunk and Lower Extremity Muscles During Bridging Exercise in Whole Body Vibration and Swiss Ball Condition in Elderly Women

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the trunk and lower extremity muscle activity induced by six different conditions floor, intensity 0, 1, 3, 5 of whole body vibration (WBV), and Swiss ball during bridging exercise. Surface electromyography (EMG) was used to measure trunk and lower extremity muscles activity. Ten elderly women were recruited from Hong-sung Senior Citizen Welfare Center. The collected EMG data were normalized using reference contraction (during floor bridging) and expressed as a percentage of reference voluntary contraction (%RVC). To analyze the differences in EMG data, the repeated one-way analysis of variance was used. A Bonferroni's correction was used for multiple comparisons. The study showed that EMG activity of the rectus abdominis, external oblique, internal oblique, erector spinae and rectus abdominis muscles were not significantly different between six different conditions of during bridging exercise (p>.05). However, there were significantly increased EMG activity of the rectus femoris (p=.034) in the WBV intensity 0, 1, 3, and 5 conditions compared with the floor bridging condition. EMG activity of the medial gastrocnemius were significantly increased in the WBV intensity 0, 1, 3, 5 and Swiss ball conditions compared with the floor bridging condition. Future studies are required the dynamic instability condition such as one leg lifting in bridging.

제어체적 복사열정산을 위한 구분종좌표보간법의 오차 및 보정방안 (Error and Correction Schemes of Control Volume Radiative Energy with the Discrete Ordinates Interpolation Method)

  • The discrete ordinates interpolation method (DOIM) has shown good accuracy and versatile applicability for the radiation $problems^{(1,2)}$. The DOIM is a nonconservative method in that the intensity and temperature are computed only at grid points without considering control volumes. However, when the DOIM is used together with a finite volume algorithm such as $SIMPLER^{(3)}$, intensities at the control surfaces need to be calculated. For this reason, a 'quadratic' and a 'decoration' schemes are proposed and examined. They are applied to two kinds of radiation problem in one-dimensional geometries. In one problem, the intensity and temperature are calculated while the radiative heat source is given, and in the other, the intensity and the radiative heat source are computed with a given temperature field. The quadratic and the decoration schemes show very successful results. The quadratic scheme gives especially accurate results so that further decoration may not be needed. It is recommended that the quadratic and the decoration schemes may be used together, or, one of them may be applied for control volume radiative energy balance.

봉추나요법과 한방치료를 병행한 후하방장골 변위 교정 3예 (Effect of Bong Chuna Manual Treatment Combined with Oriental Medical Treatment on Posterior Inferior Ilium Deviation ; 3 Cases Report)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to observe the effect of Bong (a type of stick which is called bong) Chuna manual therapy (CMT) on the correction of posterior inferior (PI) ilium deviation, and evaluate changes of pain intensity and Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) for the treatment of low back pain. Methods : We measured leg length inequality (LLI), as an indicator of correction of PI ilium, before and after the Bong CMT twice immediately, and also checked the change of LLI in the course of 10 times of treatment. Ten times of Bong CMT with oriental medical treatment, such as acupuncture and bee venom pharmacopuncture, were performed not only to correct the PI ilium deviation but also to alleviate pain. Visual Analog Scale (VAS) and Oswetry Low-back Pain Disability Index (ODI) score were scored to evaluate the pain and function of low back. Results : In this study, LLI was decreased in general while we performed correction of PI ilium deviation immediately, also effectively decreased comparing between before and after 10 times of Bong CMT, Bong CMT with oriental medical treatment improved pain and function of low back. Conclusions : These results suggest that Bong CMT may be an effective method for the correction of PI ilium deviation. However more rigorous study should be followed because of small cases report.

공동주택에서의 소음보정계수에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Noise Correction Factor in Apartment Complex)

  • Road traffic noise has increasing broader effects on urban areas as well as rural areas because of rapidly increasing traffic volume and newly-constructed roads. 10 sites in building development areas were selected and the noise level were measured by the apartment floors and by the various block plans of apartment complex. Analysis result, about correction factor, in the case of right angle arrangement, apply - 2.5dB(A). In the case of apartment house correlation of each floor apply 1st floors 0dB(A), 2st floors 1.2dB(A), 3st floors 2.1dB(A), 4st floors 2.6dB(A), 5st floors 2.7dB(A), 6st floors 2.7dB(A), 7st floors 2.4dB(A), 8st floors 2.0dB(A), 9st floors 1.6dB(A), 10st floors 1.1dB(A), 13st floors 0.2dB(A), 15st floors 0.5dB(A). The level of road traffic noise in the arrangement construction of right angle was about 3.0dB(A) at N-4 point and 2.1dB(A) at N-6 point lower than that of a plan figure, respectively. The results suggested that application of correction coefficient obtained by the apartment floor and by the arrangement construction can be improved in road traffic noise. Intra-Rater and Inter-Rater Reliability of Brain Surface Intensity Model (BSIM)-Based Cortical Thickness Analysis Using 3T MRI

  • Purpose: Brain surface intensity model (BSIM)-based cortical thickness analysis does not require complicated 3D segmentation of brain gray/white matters. Instead, this technique uses the local intensity profile to compute cortical thickness. The aim of the present study was to evaluate intra-rater and inter-rater reliability of BSIM-based cortical thickness analysis using images from elderly participants. Materials and Methods: Fifteen healthy elderly participants (ages, 55-84 years) were included in this study. High-resolution 3D T1-spoiled gradient recalled-echo (SPGR) images were obtained using 3T MRI. BSIM-based processing steps included an inhomogeneity correction, intensity normalization, skull stripping, atlas registration, extraction of intensity profiles, and calculation of cortical thickness. Processing steps were automatic, with the exception of semiautomatic skull stripping. Individual cortical thicknesses were compared to a database indicating mean cortical thickness of healthy adults, in order to produce Z-score thinning maps. Intra-class correlation coefficients (ICCs) were calculated in order to evaluate inter-rater and intra-rater reliabilities. Results: ICCs for intra-rater reliability were excellent, ranging from 0.751-0.940 in brain regions except the right occipital, left anterior cingulate, and left and right cerebellum (ICCs = 0.65-0.741). Although ICCs for inter-rater reliability were fair to excellent in most regions, poor inter-rater correlations were observed for the cingulate and occipital regions. Processing time, including manual skull stripping, was $17.07{\pm}3.43min$. Z-score maps for all participants indicated that cortical thicknesses were not significantly different from those in the comparison databases of healthy adults. Conclusion: BSIM-based cortical thickness measurements provide acceptable intra-rater and inter-rater reliability. We therefore suggest BSIM-based cortical thickness analysis as an adjunct clinical tool to detect cortical atrophy.
