퍼지-뉴럴 알고리즘을 이용한 효과적인 용접제어스시템에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Efficient Welding Control System using Fuzzy-Neural Algorithm)

  • Generally, though we use the vision sensor or arc sensor in welding process, it is difficult to define the welding parameters which can be applied to the weld quality control. Especially, the important parameters is Arc Voltage, Welding Current, Welding Speed in arc welding process and they affect the decision of weld bead shape, the stability of welding process and the decision of weld quality. Therefore, it is difficult to determine the unique relationship between the weld bead geometry and the combination of various welding condition. Due to the various difficulties as mentioned, we intend to use Fuzzy Logic and Neural Network to solve these problems. Therefore, the combination of Fuzzy Logic and Neural network has an effect on removing the weld defects, improving the weld quality and turning the desired weld bead shape. Finally, this system can be used under what kind of welding process adequately and help us make an estimate of the weld bead shape and remove the weld defects.

  • Due to the law of use of sustainable alternative energy recently legislated, many public institutions are ordered to use renewable energy. So it gets people's eyes on Geothermal energy system among other suggested renewable energy. Since there is hardly existence of a volcanic region, Geothermal heat pump system is generally used most in Korea. However, the important technology and materials are not localized and further, with only our technical skills it is arduous to popularize and develop Geothermal energy because of lack of revitalization related to the law and the regime for locally suitable Data-base. Moreover, an access of renewable energy is too much hard because of people's low interests about Geothermal energy. But fortunately, the well-studied about Geothermal heat system started to be adopted in many other provinces. Therefore, we study this with intend to popularize and develop Geothermal energy.

수업지도안 분석을 통한 수학교사의 수업설계역량(Pedagogical Design Capacity) 탐색 (Exploring Teachers' Pedagogical Design Capacity: How Mathematics Teachers Plan and Design Their Mathematics Lessons)

  • This study aims to explore mathematics teachers' pedagogical design capacity. For this purpose, we googled and collected 327 lesson plans for middle-school mathematics and investigated how mathematics teachers plan and design their mathematics lessons through the format and structures, objectives and mathematical tasks, anticipation for students' thinking, and assessment and technology use. The findings from the data analysis suggest as follows: a) all the lesson plans are structured in a very similar way; b) the lesson plans seem to be based on the textbooks exclusively, that is, the mathematical tasks and flow is strictly followed and kept in the lesson plans in the way the textbooks suggested; c) the lesson plans do not include any evidence of what teachers anticipate for students' thinking and would do to resolve the students' issues; and d) the lesson plans do not contain any specific plans to assess students' thinking processes and reasoning qualitatively, and not intend to use technology in order to promote effective teaching and meaningful understanding.

  • Since histopathological examination was known to be the most sensitive evaluation for testicular toxicity, regulatory authorities have been published the guidelines on practical testicular assay approach. Those guidelines specified details of evaluation including fixation, embedding, stain-ing, histological examination and also seminiferous tubular staging methods. However, there have been confusing understanding among toxicologists and even pathologists on staging theory and its application on industrial testicular toxicity. Guidelines did not intend to conduct quantitative assay with staging but recommended the use of knowledge of staging. To count each tubular stage with statistical analysis is known to be time consuming and labor burdening work but the significance of toxicity has little value. It also has been pointed out that the application of staging theory for longer-term toxicity considered to be lacking of rationale. It could be recommended that qualitative assay with aware-ness of germ cell loss is more efficient method rather than quantitative counting of each tubular stage. Therefore it would be required that comprehensive understanding of testicular toxicity evaluation and the use of testicular staging method.

  • Shock focusing is related with explosive release of shock wave energy on a narrow spot in a short duration of time triggering a spontaneous high pressure near the focal point. It is well known that reflection of planar incident shock wave from the metallic concave mirror such as ellipsoidal, paraboloidal or hemispherical cavities will focus on a focal point. We intend to improve the computational results using a wave propagation algorithm and to resolve the mushroom-like structure. For computation of the concave cavity flow, it is not easy to use a single-block mesh because of the many singular points in geometry and coordinates. We have employed a uniform Cartesian-grid method for the wave propagation algorithm.

The Changes of Teachers' Verbal Feedback in Mathematics Classroom within Chinese Context during Ten Years

  • In the present study, the changes of mathematics teachers' verbal feedback between ten years ago and later were examined using a coding scheme on the types of teacher verbal feedback. Based on the analysis, it is found that teachers intend to use encouraging strategies to make responses to students ten years later. In addition, the duration used in communication between the teacher and individual student is being longer while the frequency of communication becomes less compared ten years ago. Meanwhile, the difference between good lesson ten years ago and common lesson ten years later is not so apparent. It can be inferred that the quality of teaching has being developed.

  • 진행파 슬롯 배열 안테나에서 반사파에 의한 부엽을 억제하기 위한 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 이 방법에서는 통상적으로 사용되는 정합부하 대신에 다단 도파관 계단구조가 사용되었다. 제안된 방법의 타당성을 보이기 위해 Ku-대역에서 동작하는 도파관 슬롯 안테나를 제작 시험하였다. 측정결과로부터 제안된 방법을 사용하여 반사파에 의한 부엽을 억제할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • Over the last years several studies have been carried out in the welfare facilities for the elderly in Japan. These have mainly focused on small scale projects, multi-functional houses and on the improvement of specifically designed equipments. This study examines the residents' life patterns and using patterns in group living having various space constitution and, does it for the purpose of looking for the formation of well state places, life patterns and the domains to use spaces for the aged who became independent. I intend to grasp their life patterns by physical space constitution and to show a direction of the house form that they can live in while feeling relieved in areas.

  • Butterfly valves installed on ships use valves with up to triple offset to improve tightness. However, the triple offset valve has structural problems such as disc deformation and seat separation. Accordingly, interest in quadruple offset butterfly valves with added offset is increasing. In this study, the structural safety of the quadruple offset butterfly valve was examined through numerical analysis. In addition, we intend to evaluate the performance of the valve through flow coefficient analysis.

  • 최근 COVID-19로 인하여 무인점포가 늘어나고 있는 추세이다. 무인 점포에는 주로 키오스크를 이용해서 결제를 하고 있는데, 일부 신체 장애를 가진 사람들이나 휠체어를 이용하는 장애인들은 그 사용이 쉽지 않다. 또한 어린아이들이나 노인들도 나이가 많아질수록 키오스크와 같은 새로운 기술을 사용하는 것에 어려움을 보이고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 보완하기 위해 사용자가 키오스크와 상호작용을 할 때 시각적인 요소 뿐만 아니라 음성인식 기능을 추가하여 음성으로 주문명령을 수행할 수 있는 시스템을 설계하였다.
