Development of multi-colorimeter module for low-cost urinalysis strip readers (저가형 요분석 시스템의 다중 광 검출 모듈개발)

  • An optic module system is developed adopting multiple colorimetry units for the measurement of multi-pad urinalysis dipsticks. Multiple photometry system instead of moving mechanisms has the advantages of system reliability and simplicity as well as economic aspects due to the recent development of economic color light emitting diodes and stable photo sensors. An integration amplifier with programmable integration time, a current source circuit with selectable and stable current settings were connected through analog multiplexers to thirty light emitting diodes for illumination and ten photo transistors for reading each strip pad. All the circuits are controlled by a microprocessor through a simple set of serial communication commands. The detect ability is eighteen times better than the minimum color difference of the test grading which is 0.013 in urobilinogen in the color space defined in this paper.

  • This study was on electrode design for the realization of a solar cell that combines electrode formation and module integration process to overcome printing limitations. We used the passivated emitter rear contact (PERC) solar cell. Wafer size was 156.75 mm ×156.75 mm. The fabricated cell results showed that the open-circuit voltage of 649 mV, short-circuit current density of 36.15 mA/cm2, fill factor of 68.5%, and efficiency of 16.06% with electrode conditions the 24BBs with the width 190 ㎛ and 90FBs with the width 45 ㎛. For improving efficiency, the characteristics of the solar cell were checked according to the change in the number of BBs and FBs and the change in line fine width. It is confirmed that the efficiency of the solar cell will be improved by increasing the number of FBs from 90 to 120, and increasing the line width of the FBs by about 10 ㎛ compared to the manufacturing solar cells.

  • In this study, a smoke or a heat which occurs by a fire is perceived by wireless detector, this signal is transmitted to the receiving device by the wireless installation which is not the wire device and wire/wireless integration system which sends this signal to main server via wire system is proposed. In addition wireless heat/smoke detector, wireless module, firmware and wire/wireless integration controller were developed and for verifying regarding the efficiency and applicability of wire/wireless installation actual place application experiment was really accomplished with a transmission tower, a multipurpose building, and a station etc of the subway. The experimental result, it could operate the system which is proposed normally with all experimental object ones and, future actual place application possibility could verify.

Control of Flutter using ASTROS* with Smart Structures (지능구조물과 ASTROS*를 이용한 플러터 제어)

  • Recent development of a smart structures module and its successful integration with a multidisciplinary design optimization software $ASTROS^*$ and an Aeroservoelasticity module is presented. A modeled F-16 wing using piezoelectric actuators is used as an example to demonstrate the integrated software capability to design a flutter suppression system. For an active control design, neural network based controller is used for this study. A smart structures module is developed by modifying the existing thermal loads module in $ASTROS^*$ in order to include the effects of the induced strain due to piezoelectric actuation. The control surface/piezoelectric equivalence model principle is developed, which ensures the interchangeability between the control surface force input and the piezoelectric force input to the Aeroservoelasticity modules in $ASTROS^*$. The results show that the developed controller can increase the flutter speed.

  • Existing patterns and database search, string search unit search results for a lot of false positives, a simple search technique unreliable. In addition, the same conditions in addition to other search methods implemented due to wasted of resources and enforcement have been causing a waste of time. Therefore, regular expression and correlation analysis method by applying an integrated linkage information search module is to develop in this paper. From this, existing string search technique that has been noted as a problem by reducing the economic impact false positive and reliability to develop method that will information search secure.

Design of Asynchronous Non-Volatile Memory Module Using NAND Flash Memory and PSRAM (낸드 플래시 메모리와 PSRAM을 이용한 비동기용 불휘발성 메모리 모듈 설계)

  • In this paper, the design method of asynchronous nonvolatile memory module that can efficiently process and store large amounts of data without loss when the power turned off is proposed and implemented. PSRAM, which takes advantage of DRAM and SRAM, was used for data processing, and NAND flash memory was used for data storage and backup. The problem of a lot of signal interference due to the characteristics of memory devices was solved through PCB design using high-density integration technology. In addition, a boost circuit using the super capacitor of 0.47F was designed to supply sufficient power to the system during the time to back up data when the power is off. As a result, an asynchronous nonvolatile memory module was designed and implemented that guarantees reliability and stability and can semi-permanently store data for about 10 years. The proposed method solved the problem of frequent data loss in industrial sites and presented the possibility of commercialization by providing convenience to users and managers.

  • Today's manufacturing environment is becoming a distributed manufacturing process in which a unique and specialized technological background is required in specific domains rather than having a single company execute all the manufacturing processes. This phenomenon is especially true in the automotive industry, where the sharing of product data between companies is rampant; however, this kind of interoperability causes many problems. When each company has its own method of managing product data, the sharing of product data in a distributed environment is a major problem. A data translator module or a data mapping module had to be developed for the exchange of data in heterogeneous systems of product data management (PDM); moreover, this type of module must be continually changed and improved due to the fact that PDM systems change for many reasons. In addition, the growth in corporate partnerships deepens the burden of developing and maintaining this module and creates further data exchange problems due to the increasing complexity of the system. This paper introduces a way of exchanging product data among heterogeneous PDM systems through the use of OpenPDM, which is a kind of virtual data warehouse. The implementation of a PDM integrating system is also discussed with respect to the requirement for a logical integration of product data which are physically distributed.

  • With the development of the society, pure electric vehicles will be surely important of the future. Electric vehicle requires various technology like motor driving, battery management, operational efficiencies and so on. Battery management is indeed the most important to enhance battery's performance and life. This paper has deeply discussed and studied on the lithium-polymer battery management system of pure electric vehicle. First of all we have analyzed the characteristic of the lithium-polymer batteries and the factors influenced on the state of charge. Then a logical SOC measuring method has been raised, which is the combination of open circuit voltage and Ah integration. The next we will introduce the design of battery management system, the battery management system performs many functions, such as inspecting the whole process, when it's running cell equalization protecting and diagnosing the battery, estimating the state of charge. The module design style including microcontroller, data aquisition module, charging control module and serial communication module. To arrive at conclusions, the battery management system which this paper has introduced is reliable and economical.

  • In this paper, the design and implementation of the long-distance wireless transmission technology of high-definition video using domestic wireless communication technology for the existing wired-based CCTV surveillance system and IP camera system was evaluated for performance. The interworking test between the wireless multi-IP camera transmission terminal device and the wireless communication RF module, and the wireless multi-IP camera-based video transmission system integration interworking test confirm the module interworking suitability during video transmission.

  • In this paper, we implement a U-healthcare system that can be applied to a service integration system. This system consists of a wireless network system a sensor module, and a integration server. The wireless network system collects data and the sensor module measures body fat, blood pressure, quantity of exercise, and SPO2. The server integrates user certification, security service and VOD service and collects user health information in real-time, and sends the data in case of emergency to a doctor or guardian.
