Design of School Management Information System Based on the Indonesian National Education Standard

  • With a population of around 237,424,363 in 33 provinces, Indonesia is one developing countries that needs an excellent School Management Information System (SMIS) to accomplish its educational mission. To reach the goal, it is necessary to know the rules, culture of school and related data prior to building the SMIS. This study is focused on the Indonesian National Education Standards. It is has nine standards that are described by the Regulation of Education Ministry. To manage the schools' organization, this paper aims to develop a SMIS based on the Indonesian National Education Standards by using ARIS(Architecture of Integrated Information System) to help schools run efficiently. The new system will be built using UML(Unified Modeling Language), this new system conforms to the education rules of the government. Finally, the conclusion and future research are described.

  • The surveillance system for urban transit now adapt the newest IT technology. The Surveillance system analyzes the video information from various cameras intelligently and determines the critical status automatically. Other sensors, for example fire sensor and audio sensor are used in the surveillance system for increasing the correctness of surveillance. The surveillance system tries to increase the performance of surveillance by gathering lots of information for the current situation and analyzing them intelligently. IP-Based Integrated system needs the distributed computer system with location and functions. For correctly running this system, a distributed software is needed. In this paper, we study the distributed software for IP-based integrated surveillance system. The required functions, safety and extendability are suggested.

  • This paper deals with the network interface of research and observation instruments in the oceanographic research vessel with an establishment of related database for measured information. The system is implemented to integrated communication network system which allows to effective survey by using real time observation and GUI(Graphic User Interface). The system also consists of the LAN systems and serial interface to link chemical, physical, biological and environmental relations. And, other network service and vessel data service for data communication between vessel and earth station such as INMARSAT-B, WWW service, BBS, E-Mail etc., are needed for integrated communication network system.

  • This paper proposes an integrated lighting enabler system (ILES) based on standard machine-to-machine (M2M) platforms. This system provides common services of end-to-and M2M communication for smart lighting system. It is divided into two sub-systems, namely end-device system and server system. On the server side, the M2M platform OpenMTC is used to receive data from the sensors and send response for activating actuators. At the end-device system, a programmable smart lighting device is connected to the actuators and sensors for communicating their data to the server. Some experiments have been done to prove the system concept. The experiment results show that the proposed integrated lighting enabler system is effective to reduce the power consumption by 25.22% (in average). The proving of significance effect in reducing power consumption is measured by the Wilcoxon method.

  • The purpose of this paper is to propose an successful implementation plan for national R&D program integrated information system. First, we surveyed and analyzed the status and plan of the national R&D program information system in developed countries (especially, the United States and Japan) Second, we reviewed the implementation background, limitation and further plan of the information systems related to R&D program in Korea. Last, division of the work and an successful plan in implementing the national R&D program integrated information system are discussed.

  • In this paper, we propose to implement an integrated monitoring system using log data to reduce the load of analysis task of information security officer and to detect information leak in advance. To do this, we developed a transmission module between different model DBMS that transmits large amount of log data generated by the individual security system (MSSQL) to the integrated monitoring system (ORACLE), and the transmitted log data is digitized by individual and individual and researches about the continuous inspection and measures against malicious users when the information leakage symptom is detected by using the numerical data.

  • This study aims to suggest a classification system for integrated management and shared use of disaster and safety information, which is currently produced and managed separately in disaster-related organizations. The study conducted a survey with organizations in charge of disaster management to analyze existing disaster-related classification systems and developed the first draft of the classification system. Later, in-depth interviews were conducted with disaster experts and a review was made by library and information science professors for the final touch. As a facet classification system consisting of 7 facets, it will be effective in supporting disaster management tasks as well as representing the complex nature of disaster and safety information.

  • With labor shortage and high-wage, the construction cost is rising and the construction-business is dull, demanding the construction environment of Korea to raise profitability through major cost savings and rationalization of construction management. Therefore, in this study, to improve many problems found in calculating rebar quantity for capital expenditure programming which is considered the beginning stage of rebar work. and to improve problems such as no grasping of rebar loss due to lack of systematic management in order/purchase stage and construction management stage, a rebar information-management-system was found and preyed. The relation database was designed for the rebar information management system by analyzing work process of a rebar manufacturing plant, as the rebar information that is necessary in a rebar manufacturing plant if similar to that of a purchasing department of general construction company. The Proposed rebar information management system was implemented in two large rebar production plants. The implementation of the proposed system showed that the system increased work efficiency, reduced the management manpower, and improved the project-integrated management

  • This paper presents a statistical process control(SPC) system in the electronic parts manufacturing process. In this system, an SPC method is integrated into the automated inspection technology on a real time base. It shows how the collected data can be analyzed with the SPC to provide process information. also presented are stuided of subpixel image processing technology to improve the accuracy of parts mearements , and the cumulative-sum(CUSUM) control chart for fraction defectives.An application of the developed system to connector manufacturing process as a part of computer integrated manufacturing (CIM) is presented.
