This study is focused on evaluating the computer-integrated just-in-time (CI-JIT) production system of a semi-conductor manufacturing firm in Korea. Approaching the mid-1980s, the emphasis was on low price, low-cost operations, and quality, especially in USA. American companies have shifted output to low-wage countries like the Philippines, Korea, Japan, Malaysia and allied countries that can make quality products at low prices. Korea and other Asian countries forego short-term profits to gain a solid foothold in a product market, recognizing that larger market share leads to lower cost and higher profit in the long run. They bring manufacturers and suppliers together to improve material management and operation management, using project teams that investigate topics, such as Just-In-Time(JIT)manufacturing, among others. The "Kanban" word means "card" in Japanese, and is used to indicate the desired final delivery schedule. The operation for a particular item produced is scheduled for a specific time. The same process is extended to the external suppliers. More recently, the cards are gradually being replaced by electronic procedures that follow the same concept. Its capacity must be capable of handling the various transactions required by the JIT coverage as well as some allowances for expanded applications.

According to alternation of Digital Information Environment. users require more complicated and variable services. This study refined theoretically definition, concept, and materiality of Information Commons which is introduced and diffused throughout U.S. Universities' libraries. Information Commons is not simple facilities and spaces of library, but it is a united service model that is designed to fulfill variable information requirements of users with offering cooperative services, coalition of human resources, physical spaces, and facilities of redefinitions. In order to successful introduction and construction of Information Commons, it should be preceded that approaching digital information resources, offering continual services, and integration of resources that focus on the users.

In this study, a simulation system was developed to verify autonomous navigation algorithm in complex maritime traffic areas. In particular, real-world maritime traffic scenario was applied by considering near real-time maritime traffic information provided by Korean e-Navigation service. For this, a navigation simulation system of Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) was integrated with an e-Navigation equipment, called Electronic Chart System (ECS). To verify autonomous navigation algorithm in the simulation system, initial conditions including initial position of an own ship and a set of paths for the ship to follow are assigned by an operator. Then, considering real-world maritime traffic information obtained from the service, the simulation is implemented in which the ship repeatedly travels by avoiding surrounding obstacles (e.g., approaching ships). In this paper, the developed simulation system and its application on verification of the autonomous navigation algorithm in complex maritime traffic areas are introduced.

The poultry plays a crucial role in the animal industry, providing humans with efficient, high-quality animal protein. The rapid growth and short generational intervals of broilers offer significant benefits compared to other economic animals. This growth and increased muscle mass in modern commercial broilers result from advancements in breeding. However, the high productivity of contemporary broilers indicates they are approaching their physiological limits, with excessive fat accumulation becoming a significant industry issue. This not only reduces lean meat yield and feed efficiency but also negatively impacts consumers, especially due to problematic abdominal fat, which consumes more energy than lean meat production. Laying hens, reared for extended periods, maintain high productivity, producing a substantial number of eggs. This productivity in laying hens, akin to broilers, stems from genetic selection and breeding. For egg production, laying hens require physiological support for necessary nutrients. In this context, yolk fat accumulation is a critical physiological process. Lipoproteins, essential in avian lipid metabolism, are vital for yolk and body fat accumulation. Understanding these lipoproteins and their metabolism is key to developing healthier, more productive animals, offering economic benefits to farmers and improved nutritional quality to consumers. This review focuses on the physiological aspects of dietary fat transport, fatty acid biosynthesis in the liver, fat accumulation in the abdomen and muscles, and lipid deposition in egg yolks in chickens. It also highlights recent research trends in the regulation of fat metabolism in poultry.

While the 7th national education curriculum is gradually proceeding, science education tries various teaching-learning method for integration in science education. The first purpose of this study is to investigate Earth Systems Education(ESE), which is approaching method to integrate science education, especially in its focus on planet Earth. Also, the second purpose is to know what the reactions of students are obtained after 'The Global Climate Game' in ESE active learning program is applied to the field. The results of this study are as follows; ESE is to propose the integrated approaching method of searching for natures and ESE teaching-learning method is to try to overcome fixed conventional teaching-learning method focus on the text book, and practical application of ESE teaching-learning method is that we can develope the student-emphasized instructional program through the discussional cooperation-teaming models, role-play instructional models. In this study, 'The Global Climate Game' found that was suitable of understanding about relating of atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere and biosphere composing Earth System. Reaction of most students for ESE was showed a positive change of aspect affective region and ESE active learning program is more efficient to improve schoolwork achivement and students positive attitude toward science subject than conventional teaching-learning method. Thus if ESE active learning program is applied for a long time, the general positive attitude of students concerning science will be increased, and then the students is expected to extend the ability of application of science in their life.

Currently, unmanned military vehicles under development in Korea have more devices to carry out various missions, and interface cables between them are also increasing. In addition, due to a small space problem inside the unmanned vehicle, devices are required to be miniaturized and integrated. For two reasons, connectors also need to be selected, which makes them vulnerable to noise due to the closer distance between the pins. In this paper, we analyzed how much the magnetic field produced by noise at the connector pin where cable twist is released affects the surrounding pin and presented the guide for optimal pin placement. First, the effect of magnetic field is greater than the crosstalk between pin and pin. Second, the magnetic field on both sides between + and - is strong when approaching one step with noise source. Third, the magnetic field strength is improved when setting the ground pin as the ground pin between the noise and the original signal when approaching the A noise source and the two steps. Fourth, in the case of a differential mode communication, the optimal placement area of the sensitive signal was presented according to positions Tx± and Rx±.

The past and present time are consistent thinking process system which composed of single concept not separated concept. It's common concept for interior designer to how to realize the thinking process system in actual present day. So this paper was focused on purpose of establishing for procedural process theory by approaching typological process system in interior design process. Interior design being composed of typological thinking process system has been headed as a critical issue to how to transplant well between the design and typological objects. Also we have to be needed to know for the process of visual expression and verbal ability to be able to extract the designer's elements from it. Through the process of visual expression and verbal ability to be able to extract the designer's elements from it. Through the process of visual transformation and analysis we have to extract concepts with united design objects. From these process it should be followed adequate adjudgment on the extracted fragments' assembly and dissociation methods through physical limitation of elements functionality and feasibility's measurements. Therefore from the morphological designed results reflected to typological concepts finished material detail and texture we should be able to take the integrated thinking process system. Lastly interior designer should be able to check whether it was best choice from the consistent design feedback process to ask whether it contains the conceptual design process and new typological objects without non-conformity between past and present days in interior space. Now we should be asked for development of practical design process to be able to realize above assumptions called "Development and Suceeding of Cultural Value System'. Additionally, we have to continue to develop for our true meaning of interior design process, not repetition of past's imitation.tion.

In the past, design has been recognized as a means to determine colors, shapes, and functions Recently, however, it has been accepted in a wider sense, namely designing the entire service, including product and user experience design. In this way, in addition to creativity and expressive power that designers have as their main competence, according to the expansion of this design object, designers are required to have comprehensive abilities in related fields and accompanying technical professional abilities. If designing as a technology application as a direction toward this situation, design education can be carried out by approaching technology as a method of expression or design subject. It can also be an effective alternative towards improving the understanding of technology. Meanwhile, many small microcontroller board products with advanced functions and multi-functional specialized programming integrated development environments (IDEs) are becoming widespread due to their open source, low cost, and scalable features. However, students in the design department who lack the basic knowledge of science and engineering have difficulties learning, which requires considerable time and is required for practical use. From this point of view, we have made advancements in the technical understanding of design education by conducting fundamental research to the effectiveness of microcontroller-based prototyping tools as means of expression. We also conducted basic education of microcontroller boards for a certain period of time on students who majored in design in conjunction with the basic survey and investigated the obstacle factors using a questionnaire. Through these surveys, we have confirmed the necessity of designing microcontroller boards of low difficulty, which simplify the coding process that can act as a barrier in difficulty for design students to apply smoothly in design education. In addition, we intend to carry out a basic study on the guideline of microcontroller design for design education and composition of education programs.

A house in the traditional Korean living had a shape without shape containing all the acts, emotions, and reason of a human being and was an integrated whole creating a life by involving in all the diverse acts. In this vein, a good house for the Asian people should emotion to make the residents healthy rather than comfortable and have its own life constantly changing, exercising, and creating and circulating ch'i(氣). This study presents a house design plan with the focus on the circulation of ch'i(氣) in order to create a space for a healthy body and free spirit. By approaching ch'i from the two aspects of spirit and body, the ways were examined to make a house be full of ch'i and breathe itself as if it were alive along with humans. And the case of Jungam's design process was illustrated.

Modern corporations are changing their strategies from 4P-based marketing strategies which have been used for logic-based consumers in the past to perception-based marketing strategies which will be performed for current emotion-based consumers. Therefore, the importance of emotional marketing, which means the integrated strategies approaching consumers by combining logic-based marketing strategies and emotion-based design strategies, has been increased. However, existing researches have not tried to suggest the essence and research scope of design marketing and verify the applicability of each research sectors but only tried to apply some marketing tools in design process. Regarding this, this study suggests that the essence of design marketing has to be defined first then various and systematic academic reviews have been performed on each research sectors of it before design marketing tools are applied in design practices. In addition, this study suggests 3 research categories of design marketing based on traditional marketing. They are first, understanding consumer's decision making precess for design and next, introducing and applying various research tools ant last, applying various strategic tools for strategy-making based on situation understanding. Finally, this study suggests future research directions on 3 research categories mentioned above.
