A Design and Evaluation of WBI based on Agent considering Emotional Experience (감성체험을 고려한 에이전트 기반 WBI 설계 및 평가)

  • It is difficult to let computer express feelings because of the ambiguity and nonlinearity. But it is said that expressing emotions is very important for high quality data processing and improvement of interactivity in WBI. In this paper, I surveyed emotion models from the view point of psychology. Next, I proposed WBI(Web Based Instruction) based on character agent considering emotional experience. By experimental result, the proposed model shows that has more user's preference than other existing WBI.

  • 상거래와 통신을 위한 주된 매개체로써 등장한 인터넷 뿐 아니라 새로이 대두되는 다양한 유무선 네트워크 환경, 그리고 정보 저장에 있어서 암호화 알고리즘은 보안의 중요한 요소로 자리잡고 있다. 본 논문에서는 대칭 및 비대칭 암호화 알고리즘을 가속시키기 위한 암호화 프로세서의 명령어와 해당 Functional Unit 을 제안하였다. 현재 암호화 알고리즘을 가속시키기 위한 방법으로 사용되는 주문형 반도체(ASIC)는 알고리즘 가속 속도는 빠르지만, 새로운 암호화 알고리즘을 지원할 수가 없고, 지원하는 알고리즘을 사용하지 않는 경우 비효율성을 야기한다. 또한 범용프로세서는 다양하고 새로운 암호화 알고리즘을 지원할 수 있지만 암/복호화 가속속도가 느리다. 이는 암호화 알고리즘이 범용 프로세서에서는 지원하지 연산을 주로 사용하기 때문이다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 대칭 및 비대칭 암호화 알고리즘의 주된 연산을 분석하고, 각각의 연산을 가속시키기 위한 명령어 집합, 그리고 해당하는 Functional Unit을 제안하여 Programmable 한 암호화 프로세서를 설계하기 위한 토대를 마련한다.

  • WBI provides new opportunities to realize the flexible learning environment based on hypermedia and to support distance learning with a diverse interaction. The instructors or learners in WBI claim to be able to resolve reluctant fluctuations such as disorientation and cognitive overload. To overcome these phenomena, a supplementary tool able to manage learning space organized by the instructor's or learner's own way and offer effective navigation techniques is presented in this paper. A learning space management and navigation tool called HyperMap dynamically represents the learning space in the form of a two-dimensional labeled graph. This HyperMap also can be used for an instruction design tool, learner's portfolio for the exchange of learning experiences. and the assessment of WBI.

The Effect of Problem Posing Oriented Calculus-II Instruction on Academic Success

  • There are concepts in calculus which are difficult to teach and learn. One of these concepts is integration. However, problem posing has not yet received the attention it deserves from the mathematics education community. There is no systematic study that deals with teaching of calculus concepts by problem posing oriented teaching strategy. In this respect this study investigated the effect of problem posing on students' (prospective teachers') academic success when problem posing oriented approach is used to teach the integral concept in Calculus-II (Mathematics-II) course to first grade prospective teachers who are enrolled to the Primary Science Teaching Program of Education Faculty. The study used intervention-posttest experimental design. Quantitative research techniques were employed to gather, analyze and interpret the data. The sample comprised 79 elementary prospective science teachers. The results indicate that problem posing approach effects academic success in a positive way and at significant level.

Have excellence characteristic that follow in order instruction value exactly stationary state as well as transient state. Half bridge converter that apply this control principle can know that have stabilize and excellence characteristic. This technique is verified through an experiment, and know that experiment result and theory agree well.

Integrating Case-Based Reasoning with DSS (DSS와 사례기반 추론의 결합)

  • Case- based reasoning(CBR) offers a new approach for developing knowledge based systems. Unlike the rule-based paradigm, in which domain knowledge is encoded in the form of production rules, in the case-based approach the problem solving experience of the domain expert is encoded in the form of cases stored in a casebase(CB). CBR allows a reasoner (1) to propose solutions in domains that are not completely understood by the reasoner, (2) to evaluate solutions when no algorithmic method is available for evaluation, and (3) to interprete open-ended and ill-defined concepts. CBR also helps reasoner (4) take actions to avoid repeating past mistakes, and (5) focus its reasoning on important parts of a problem. Owing to the above advantages, CBR has successfully been applied to many kinds of problems such as design, planning, diagnosis and instruction. In this paper, I propose case-based DSS(CBDSS). CBDSS is an intelligent DSS using CBR technique. CBDSS consists of interface, case-based reasoner, maintainer, casebase management system, domain dependent CB, domain independent CB, and so on.

  • Periodontitis is the major concern of oral disease to human, and begins in the interdental area. The aim of this study is to discuss the clinical application method and the meaning of interdental brush. It is very difficult to change oral health behaviors, because patients believe that it is enough that the reason of tooth brushing is to remove food debris, not dental biofilm. Moreover, there are several barriers for using interdental brush. For the better oral health and maintenance of dental prosthesis, it is very important to motivate the use of the interdental brush well, and teach the desirable design of the interdental brush and the clinical meaning to patients.

A Study of an Approach to the Development of Web-Based Culinary Practice Education Materials (웹 기반 조리실습 교육자료 개발 연구)

  • This study describes the beginning and further development of a collection web-based materials for an efficient approach to culinary practice education. A database was created using a five-step process of analysis, design, development, operation and evaluation. The menu for the web-based culinary practice educational materials included cooking basics, the real status of cooking, cooking related knowledge, performance evaluation, a data room and a bulletin board. As at 30 July, 2010, the datadase of educational materials, contained a total of 571 items. These comprised 139 cooking pictures, 33 recipes, 22 cooking videos, 74 cooking animations, 57 collections of basic knowledge, 14 evaluation reports, 21 supplementary textbooks, and 211 sets of other related information. The webbased materials are adequate for culinary education purposes, and their use is expected to be very highly valued.

  • Over the past few years, training professionals have become more pragmatic in their approach to technology-based media by using it to augment traditional forms of training delivery, such as classroom instruction and text-based materials. This trend has led to the rise of the term blended learning. Blended learning, an environment of e-learning, is a powerful learning solution created through a mixture of face-to-face and online learning delivered through a mix of media and superior learning experiences. In this article we design and implement an e-learning environment for blended learning. The environment focused on following factors: learning activity and participation of learners, and real time feedback of instructor.

  • In this paper, we have designed and implemented Web-based realtime distant education system by using multimedia CAI and Java technology. The proposed system can provide not only Web-based courseware but also text-based text lecture and distant OHP in real time. The Courseware provides computer basic education and has been developed by using Authorware. The Client/server program of Text lecture and distant OHP for a realtime distant education has been developed by using Java applet and application. Java servlet has been used to construct CGI programs.
