Characters also are uneducated people and have simple, negative. They are not complicated, very simple like all that they concerned are instinct and enjoy of that. The lowest class people don't have any deep thought about their miserable life, and don't appear any will to overcome their. We, readers can assume their poor life in a real way. Readres also can haver a strong view resistance against strong men and realize the social situatiin. Through these simple-mined characters, readers could have attachment about life cause these characters have lifes pain and energy of instinct in very difficult situation. These characters are not evil. They are just doing this because they have to survive.

This research has set up the fire protection and early suppression plan for Asan Oeam folk village which is composed of traditional wooden building instinct or complex. The results of this study are as follows. 1. The traditional wooden buildings require attentive considerations about the fire property of the Waga and the straw roofed house. Especially, as the straw roofed house has property that the transfer and development of the fire is fast. Therefore we studied on the transferring possibilities of the fire dangerous instinct through measuring the distance from of the eaves edge and trees in neighboring house. 2. This research proposes the tools for the priority protective building through consideration of fire risk and cultural priority because the fire prevention for all is impossible at the same time. 3. The most important thing is preserve the cultural identities of traditional folk village in establishing the fire hydrant and fire prevention facilities. Traditional folk village landscape should be considered.

The loss of book happens not only from natural disaster but from mostly humans improper intention to acquire without proper consideration of ethnic standards. We occasionally have difficulty in differentiating between stealing and toying books since it is often called the basic instinct to possess the books. It is however absolutely illegal to take books belong to others without permission due to one's pure love towards books, passion to possession, or innate instinct. In this study, we define the definition of book theft and classify the cases of historically well-known book theft. It then states the book plunder cases of Nazi with the abuse of public powers, Libri, and Blumberg in terms of quantity and methods as a history of library.

school. This study was carried out by literature review. Values of woodworking in extrinsic viewpoint were justified as well-balanced development between left brain and right brain, effective improvement of creative problem solving skill, formation of affirmative attitude toward woodworking, and obtaining method to use tools and equipment effectively. Values of woodworking in intrinsic viewpoint were justified as students' instinct liking of woodworking, psychological stability, and implanting self-confidence in students. In addition to these, woodworking has more educational values. Such values should be justified in the following studies.

Economic growth and complex urbanization due to modern rapid industrialization prompt us necessarily to require rests and civic entertainments. Various leisure activities appear to be the type of theme park which has compound natures, and now these are being developed to leisure cultures with new conception. Here, this study presents a desirable direction of new entertainment through virtual reality in the theme park type of the 21st century's alternative entertaining space that citizens are easily accessible, maximizes experiences and meets the entertainment instinct.

The purpose of this study was to understand the pattern of the pregnant women' attitude on breast feeding. The research had been proceeded as follows ; 1. Delineation of the Q-population the statements of Q-population had been derived from review of the related literature and a open-ended questionnaire filled by nurses, nursing students, general public, and the pregnant women. Total number of concourse collected was 105. 2. Selection of the Q-sample : Among 105 concourse, those which has obscure or overlapped were deleted. 38 concourse were selected finally. 3. Selection of the P-sample : by the convenient sampling technique, 28 subjects had been deter mined among the pregnant women who visited a hospital affiliated with university for the antenatal care, from March to August, 1993. 4. Q-sorting : based on 1 to 9 point scale (forced normal distribution), the selected P-sample rated their operant definition of breast feeding. 5. Determination of Q-type : with Q-sorts, PC-Quanal program identified the three Q-types. 6. Analysis of Q-type : the characteristics of three different attitude had been analyzed based on the typal array, extreme comments, and subject$\sim$s demographic information. The results revealed that there are three different altitudes nth regard to breast feeding : Instinct oriented attitude, Science oriented attitude, and Convenience oriented altitude. Mothers with Instinct oriented attitude and Science oriented altitude are thought to have high possibility to breastfeed their infant willingly, and mothers with Convenience oriented attitude to breast feed under the favorable conditions. These findings can be used as the information giving data for the education to encourage breast feeding.

The purpose of this study is to find the Korean women's view to pregnancy within the Korean cultural context, to help nurses understand psychosocioemotional schema of the pregnant women, and to contribute to theory-building on the meaning of pregnancy. The interviewees were 21 women in their twenties or thirties and they were selected by theoretical sampling technique. Thirteen women of the interviewees were single and others married. Data were collected by in-depth interviews from September November in 1994. Interviews were tape-recorded and transcribed. Data were analyzed by Van Kaam's phenomenological method. Results were as follows. Eighty two descriptive expression were found and they were grouped under fourteen common factors. These are 「to maintain family」, 「instinct」, 「obligation」, 「what one should do」, 「to make home」, 「to tie couple firmly」, 「means to overcome a period of lassitude」, 「token of love」, 「hope」, 「to avoid loneliness」, 「wanted to have a baby」, 「to provide for old ages」, 「to be a mother」, 「to achieve her desire through baby」. Finally, fourteen common factors were grouped under four higher categories. Five common factors, 「to maintain family」, 「instinct」, 「obligation」, 「what one should do」, 「to make home」 were grouped under〈custom〉. Three factors, 「to tie couple firmly」, 「means to overcome a period of lassitude」, 「token of love」 were grouped under 〈love between couple〉. Four factors, 「hope」, 「to avoid loneliness」, 「wanted to have a baby」, 「to provide for old ages」 were grouped under 〈pursuiting safety〉. Two factors, 「to be a mother」, 「to achieve her desire through baby」 were grouped under 〈self-fulfillment〉. At present, the most distinguishing motivation of childbearing was rooted in the cultural custom. Korean women thought that it was their duties to have children and children were necessary in life. But they were beginning to recognize that baby could tie couple more firmly and get rid of their loneliness. Korean women no longer considered their children as the one who would take care of them when they were old or who would satisfy their unmet needs. As pregnancy is not women's duty only, authors recommend further studies on men's view to pregnancy.

The aim of this study is to review the concepts of Jing(精) Qi(氣) Shen(神) Hun(魂) Po(魄) in the light of the Jungian psychology. According to the explanations of the Jungian psychology human beings have archetypes-a priori conditioning factors-in the collective unconscious. These archetyps are concerned with common concepts conceived by mankind about the fundamental elements which constitute the universe and the existence. The archetype is perceived in a symbol, hence Jing(精) Qi(氣) Shen(神) Hun(魂) Po(魄) also are these symbolic representations which had common background of mankind. The meaning of Jing(精) is emphasized as psychic and physical elements, and concerned with instinct. Qi(氣) corresponds to Jung's definition of libido as life energy. The concept of Shen(神) has the value of the self archetype as whole psyche's president principle. Hun(魂) and Po(魄) are intuitive notions of the Orient compared with Animus and Anima which are characteristic representations. However from a standpoint of autonomous energy as archetype the difference would be diminished. Considering each purpose of Hun(魂) and Po(魄) Hun(魂) has a intention of integrating the unconscious flux into consciousness while Po(魄) has a tendency toward instinct to secure a body. It is precious to recognize deeply that these concepts of jing(精) Qi(氣) Shen(神) Hun(魂) Po(魄) play an important part which mediate between the unconscious and consciousness, psyche and body as symbols.

In 1944 Hans Asperger reported odd bizzare 400 children who showed autism like clinical symptoms but had higher intelligence and relatively intact speech function. He named these child 'autistic psychopathy'. Since them there were many controversial views about this syndrome. Some regards Asperger syndrome as the high functioning autism variant or preschizophrenic childhood condition or childhood form of schizoid personality disorder. Though there were still many controversy, recently ICD-10, DSM-IV accepted Asperger's syndrome as a distinct subtype of pervasive developmental disorder. The authors reviewed the history and conceptual changes of Asperger syndrome and summarized the interesting recent research findings. In addition, the authors argue that this syndrome has some linkage with autism and schizoid personality disorder and proposed that these is disorders do have common defect in social instinctual development.

The purpose of this article is to propose an alternative viewpoint on medical education, known as the Erudition paradigm. This study aims to confirm the essence of erudition rather than teaching and learning through discussing the foundations of self-directed learning principles in medical education. By reactivating the meaning of self-directed learning, this study debates the proprieties of the erudition paradigm beyond pedagogy; that is to say, the school-oriented educational paradigm. After all, this study reveals that all humans are Homo Eruditio, born with an erudite instinct, and it is necessary to inspire his/her encouragement in erudition by using self-directed learning.
