원통형쉘 구조물의 점가진 입력파워 추정 (Input Power Estimation of Point Loaded Cylindrical Shell)

  • The power input to an infinite cylindrical shell excited by a point force is investigated. The circumferential direction and axial direction of the cylindrical shell is assumed as a two-dimensional unbounded medium, and the point force is replaced as a periodic array of imaginary sources. The spatial Fourier transform is taken from the equation of motion of the cylindrical shell, which is derived from the static model of Donell-Mushtari-Vlasov. The inverse Fourier transform is taken to derive the vibration responses. Mobility from out-of-plane forces and in-plane forces are derived from the obtained vibration responses. The theory is applied to a cylindrical shell excited by a normal direction of point force.

A Pilot Study on the Control Performance of Foot-Controlled Mouse Devices for the Nondisabled People

  • Objective: In this study, two types of foot-controlled mouse devices are compared with a hand mouse in the input tasks requiring repetitively switching between a keyboard and a mouse. Background: Foot-controlled mouse devices have been developed for persons with impairments in the mobility of their hands. However, some researchers insisted that the foot-controlled mouse devices could be effectively used by the persons with no limits to their hand mobility. There are needs to investigate the efficiency of the foot-controlled mouse devices, when they are used by the nondisabled people. Method: Participants conducted the input tasks, requiring repetitive switches between a keyboard and a computer mouse. The used computer mouse devices were two types of foot-controlled mouse and a typical hand mouse. Participants performed three types of input task for five days and three types of task performance were measured; the number of completed input tasks within a given practice time, subjective satisfaction level and the time wasted for the mouse control. Results: For five days, the performance of input tasks sharply increased in input tasks by foot-controlled mouse devices rather than a hand mouse. After five days, the level of satisfaction on the foot-controlled mouse devices approached to about 76% of a hand mouse satisfaction level. The control time of the foot-controlled mouse devices also approached to about 109% of a hand mouse control time. Conclusion: After only five-day practice, the input task performance by foot-controlled mouse devices approached to that of a hand mouse. This result may suggest that the foot-controlled mouse devices can be effectively used as an alternative input device for the nondisabled people, if input tasks are easy and enough practice time is provided. Application: The results of this study might help to design foot-controlled mouse devices and to expend the usage of them.

  • 최근 모바일 환경에서 고화질 멀티미디어 서비스 수요가 늘어감에 따라, 다중안테나(MIMO, Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) 시스템에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으며, 최신 무선 통신 시스템에 적용되고 있다. 이와 함께, 휴대폰, 테블릿 등 모바일 디바이스용 MIMO 시스템은 물리적 크기의 한계로 인하여 최대 2개의 송수신 안테나($2{\times}2$)를 고려하고 있으며, 따라서 본 논문에서도 $2{\times}2$ MIMO 시스템을 고려하여 모바일 디바이스용 다중안테나 시스템을 위한 저복잡도 특성을 갖는 심볼 검출 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 심볼 검출 기법은 비록 Modified-SQRD 알고리즘을 통해 검출된 1차원 상의 신호를 제안된 심볼 확장 기법을 통해 2차원 신호로 확장한 다음 연판정을 위한 LLR 연산이 가능하도록 제안하였다.

RAS 기법을 활용한 서울 스마트관광 모빌리티의 경제적 파급효과 분석 (Estimating the Economic Effects of Smart Tourism Mobility in Seoul: Using RAS Method)

  • 스마트관광 도시의 핵심 분야 중 하나인, 스마트 모빌리티는 개인형 교통수단인 공유 자전거, 공유 킥보드를 비롯해 공유 자동차 서비스, 스마트교통 인프라 등 ICT 기술을 기반으로 진보된 모든 수단과 서비스를 포함하며, 기존 교통수단의 한계를 극복하고 사람과 물자의 이동을 개선한다. 관광객에게는 관광지 간 이동 시 저렴하고 이용하기 쉬운 교통수단으로 활용될 뿐만 아니라, 관광 경험 그 자체가 되어 여행의 질을 향상시키는 역할도 한다. 이 연구는 스마트 모빌리티의 관광적 측면을 포함한 '스마트관광 모빌리티'를 '정보통신기술을 기반으로 뛰어난 연결성을 갖추고, 공익성을 가지고 있으며, 스마트관광 도시에서 거주민과 관광객 모두가 교통수단으로 사용함과 동시에 관광 경험 그 자체가 될 수 있는 모빌리티'로 정의하였다. 그리고 관련 산업의 범위를 전문가 델파이 조사를 기반으로 규명하고, 스마트관광도시에서 어떤 경제적 파급효과를 낳는지 파악하고자 했다. 구체적으로, RAS 기법과 입지계수법을 활용하여 산업연관표를 업데이트하고, 스마트관광 모빌리티에 대한 투자 증대가 서울시의 전 산업에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 2022년 한 해 동안 예정된 서울시의 스마트관광 모빌리티에 대한 약 28억 원 규모의 투자로 인해 전 산업에 걸쳐 약 41억 4천만 원 이상의 생산유발효과가 창출될 것으로 추정되었으며, 이로 인해 약 16억 6천만 원의 소득유발효과, 약 36억 1천만 원의 부가가치유발효과, 그리고 약 54명을 위한 일자리가 창출될 것으로 예상되었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 스마트관광 모빌리티가 첨단기술과 관광·운송 서비스의 단순한 결합이 아니며, 도시 내·외부의 다양한 산업과 이해관계를 연계하는 생태계적 관점에서 발전해야함을 강조한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 6자유도를 갖는 병렬형 기구의 출력 속도 공간에서 성능을 평가할 수 있는 지표를 제안하였다. Manipulability와 condition number에 기반을 둔 성능 지표가 단위계의 볼일치로 인한 물리적 의미의 결함이 없도록 출력공간을 병진속도 공간과 회전속도 공간으로 분리하는 방법을 제안하였다. 각 공간에서 단위 입력에 대용하는 mobility ellipsoid를 정의하여 이를 기반으로 병진운동 출력공간에서 두 종류 성능 지표와 회전운동 공간에서 두 종류의 성능 지표를 제안하였다.

궤도형 로외차량의 주행 및 견인 성능 예측 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 (Computer simulation for the Prediction of Mobility and Tractive Performance of Tracked Vehicles)

  • A computer program was developed for the simulation of mobility and tractive performance of tracked off-road vehicles. Input parameters for the simulation involve those characterizing track and power drive line of a vehicle and soil conditions upon which the vehicle operates. The simulation predicts tractive performance in terms of soil thrust and motion resistance of track device and mobility performance in terms of the maximum speed, time-distance and time-speed relation that a vehicle can obtain under the given soil conditions. It also determines whether or not the vehicle can move in those conditions. An example of performing simulation was presented and its results showed that the performance prediction was reasonably in a good agreement with the published data.

On Mobility-Supporting Transmit Beamforming in MISO FDD Wireless Systems

  • When operating in frequency-division duplex (FDD) mode, transmit beamforming in multiple-input single-output (MISO) wireless communication systems typically requires accurate knowledge of downlink channel state information (CSI) at the transmitter. In practical FDD systems, obtaining such downlink CSI at the transmitter is challenging, if not impractical. To circumvent such challenge and support user mobility, we present a new method for transmit beamforming based on simple beam-control commands (BCCs) in MISO FDD mobile systems. We then numerically evaluate the effects of BCC errors in terms of transmit power efficiency, system capacity, and outage probability.

다양한 연성 평판 진동에 대한 파워흐름해석법의 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study On Power Flow Analysis of Vibration of Various Coupled Plates)

  • The power flow analysis (PFA) can be effectively used to predict structural vibration in medium-to-high frequency ranges. In this paper, vibration experiments have been performed to observe the analytical characteristics of the power flow analysis of the vibration of various coupled plates. Those plates include two plates coupled with angles of $90^{\circ}$\;and\;30^{\circ}$, respectively. In the experiment, the loss factor and the input mobility at a source point on each coupled plate have been measured. The data for the loss factors have been used as the input data to predict the vibration of the coupled plates with PFA. The frequency response functions have been measured over the surface of the coupled plates. The comparison between the experimental results and the predicted PFA results for the frequency response functions has been performed.

Preparation of ITO Thin Films for Display Application with $O_2$ Gas Flow Ratio and Input Current by FTS (Facing Targets Sputtering) System

  • In this work, the ITO thin films were prepared by FTS (Facing Targets Sputtering) system under different sputtering conditions which were varying $O_2$ gas flow, input current at room temperature. As a function of sputtering conditions, electrical and optical properties of prepared ITO thin films were measured. The electrical, optical characteristics and surface roughness of prepared ITO thin films were measured. In the results, as increasing $O_2$ gas 0.1[sccm] to 0.7[sccm], resistivity of ITO thin film was increased with a decreasing carrier concentration, $O_2$ gas over 0.3[sccm] the carrier mobility have a similarly value. Transmittance of prepared ITO thin films were improved at increasing $O_2$ gas 0.1[sccm] to 0.7[sccm]. And transmittance of all of the prepared ITO thin films was over 80%. We could obtain resistivity $6.19{\times}10^{-4}[{\omega}{\cdot}cm]$, carrier mobility $22.9[cm^2/V{\cdot}sec]$, carrier concentration $4.41{\times}10^{20}[cm^{-3}]$ and transmittance over 80% of ITO thin film prepared at working pressure 1mTorr, input current 0.4A without any substrate heating.

자동차 도어 진동의 파워흐름해석에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Power Flow Analysis of Vibration of an Automobile Door)

  • The Power Flow Analysis(PFA) can be effectively used to predict structural vibration in medium-to-high frequency range. In this paper, Power Flow Finite Element Method (PFFEM) based on PFA has been used to predict the vibration of an automobile door. The predicted results for the frequency response function of the door have been compared with corresponding experimental results. In the experiment, the automobile door has been divided into several subsystems and the loss factor of each subsystem has been measured. The input mobility at a source point has been also measured. The data for the loss factors and the input mobility have been used as the input data to predict the vibration of the automobile door with PFFEM. The frequency response functions have been measured over the surface of the door. The comparison between the experimental results and the predicted results for the frequency response functions showed that PFFEM could be an effective tool to predict the structural vibration.
