In this paper, we propose the valuation frame of the IT(Information Technology) ventures using ROV(Real Options Valuation) model. Generally, ROV can comprises the traditional valuation method such as DCF(Discounted Cash Flow), which can measure only the tangible value of a firm from the expected future earnings, in that ROV can additionally measure the intangible value such as the strategic value of a firm in the uncertain environment. We set up the hypothetic IT venture future investment plan and assume that there are a growth option and a switching option consequently along the investment time horizon, which are caused by each characteristics of ventures and IT technologies, especially modularity. In the case that there are several embedded real options in the firm's investment plan in a row, we should apply the compound option pricing model as a real option valuation model in order to consider the value interaction between real options. In an addition, we present the results of optimal investment timing analysis using real options approach and compare them. with those of the original assumed investment timing.

Since 2005, POSCO has been conducting continuous innovation activities using its own innovation methodology, QSS + (Quick Six Sigma Plus). Recently, the effectiveness of QSS + has been decreased owing to the different needs and purposes for each group. The purpose of this study is to compare the weights of the QSS + factors using AHP analysis. QSS + factors consist of two levels. The high level consists of 7 items : 'Master Plan, Waste Zero Activity, Daily Improvement Activity, Talent Development, Project Activity, Initiative/Encouragement activity'. The low level consists of 3 items '5S, My Machine, My M&S' for Daily Improvement Activity. As a result, we found that there was a difference between the weights of the four groups. We suggest the effective QSS + directions to improve the quality of POSCO.

In recent, internal IT industries are suffering a severe pain due to stagnancy of business activities. Particularly, internal software industries are losing international competitiveness. As to solve this problems, the paper is studied about political plans for supporting internal software industries. The paper has two important topics which are enlarged plan of domestic demand and supplement of the expert personnel in internal software industries. The paper consists of three parts: one is plan which prevents for using illegal softwares, another is problems which is related to publication of expert programming books, and the other is If educations of governmental leading. The paper suggests realistic price of softwares, powerful inspection about illegal softwares as governmental leading, and continuous public relations for changing consumers'awareness.

Mega-Y project is very important for a company to gain a competitive advantage in markets or to achieve drastic change in the internal processes. It stems from the company strategy and annual management goals or key performance measures, and is proceeded by the cross-functional team. This paper presents the success factors and implementation process of the Mega-Y projects. The implementation process is presented in 5 steps, including project selection, cross-functional team building, establishment of the master plan, development and execution of sub-projects, and project completion. A case study on the cost reduction project of aircraft development is presented to help for the practitioners to deploy the implementation process introduced in this paper.

Four years have passed since Korea launched its intensive development plan for nanotechnology. Now, at the moment of transition moving to the second phase of nanotechnology development, it is very important to evaluate the results of government-driven nanotechnology development peformed for last four years. In the present study, the trends of R&D and commercialization in nanotechnology area were in-depth investigated in both Korea and other countries. And Korea's nanotechnology level was compared with those of other advanced countries. This study is useful for establishing the government policy for nanotechnology development and amending the second phase plan of nanotechnology development in Korea.

This study is aimed at development a plan to strengthen the competitiveness in technology of small and medium manufacturing enterprises, which can be assumed mainly by small and medium manufacturing companies, to improve the competitiveness of domestic industry. To remove these obstacles and strengthen the technological competitiveness, internally it is required to change the attitude of management about the development and innovation of technology first. Promotion of favorable atmosphere for the technological development and organized activity to acquire technological information are additional requirements. In conclusion, to survive the competition and to secure national industrial competitiveness, each individual company needs to endeavor for technological innovation and improvement in product quality and productivity.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to introduce the development trend of international standard in the innovative management system and propose the application method of the standard for SME certification system. Methods: This study is based on literature studies and case studies considering the initial stage of development of standards as well as lack of domestic and international research examples. In the literature review, we focused on the characteristics of the innovation management system standards at the national, regional and global level. We examined case studies of Spain and Portugal as case studies. Besides, the evaluation items and certification status of domestic innovative SMEs certification were also searched to find out how to introduce them in Korea. Results: The results of this study can be summarized in three major points. First, new international standards of innovation management are being developed under the ISO management system standard and are currently in the DIS stage. Second, in the case of Spain adopting the national innovation management system standard, it has been reported that the innovation management system standard has a significant effect on the innovation ability and management performance. Third, it was not easy to establish a standardized innovation process between the innovation based on creativity and the standardized based product. The Oslo manual was not enough to provide enough guidance in this area. Conclusion: Companies that want to strengthen their organizational innovation capabilities from a management system point of view and Policymakers that want to plan the upgrading and integrated certification operating system of the domestic innovation SME certification need to consider the ISO 50500 series as a global level standard other than the Oslo manual.

Korea has the plans to improve nation and corporate global competitiveness through reducing the logistics costs. Ministry of Knowledge Economy, as the government department of in charge of the plan, establish industrial logistics policies in 2002 and 2007 and it's about time to set up the third industrial logistics policy in 2012. There are new trends for the logistics environment in terms of environment-friendly logistics, logistics securities, win-win collaboration etc. This study propose some harmonious plans between logistic productivity and the new trends in the field of logistics. For the purpose of that, we have evaluated the second industrial logistics policy. We propose the vision and objectives of the new industrial logistics policy. The vision is entering the line of industrial logistics developed nations through the sustainable logistics innovation, and the objects are smart & green logistics, win-win collaboration, lead the new logistics trends etc. We also propose the set the system and rules to push promote the new plan. In addition, industrial logistics is the new terminology setting out use by Ministry of Knowledge Economy.

With the rapid growth of high-tech, the development of cultural and creative industries has gradually become the focus of national industrial development. With the proposal of China's "Belt and Road" strategy, the role of cultural and creative industries in the provinces and cities along the "Belt and Road" in the entire international trade is becoming increasingly critical. It is necessary to explore solutions to improve the competitiveness of China's cultural and creative industries, factoring the surrounding cities of the "Belt and Road" as an example. Thus, this paper proposes the six-element diamond model based on innovation capability and government support to render a comprehensive evaluation of the competitiveness of the cultural and creative industries in the 31 provinces and cities across the country. The results show that the overall competitiveness of the 18 provinces and cities along the "Belt and Road" cultural and creative industries is weak. Focusing on the 18 provinces and cities along the "Belt and Road", using the linear regression measurement model quantitative analysis, the four types of influencing factors affecting the development of the competitiveness of cultural and creative industries along the "Belt and Road" were obtained. Finally, according to the four types of influence, the competitiveness improvement plan is proposed from the four aspects: government role, consumption preference, industrial innovation ability, and the introduction of high-quality talent.

서비스 경쟁력의 중요성은 나날이 증대하고 있다. 국내 기업들은 서비스 경쟁력의 중요성을 인식하고 있지만, 그 대응은 미흡한 수준이다. 서비스는 생산과 소비가 동시에 발생하는 특징을 가지고 있어 그 자체가 프로세스라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 서비스 경쟁력 향상을 위한 방안으로 프로세스 혁신을 활용한다. 서비스 프로세스 혁신을 상품의 특성(유형과 무형)과 혁신 대상(신 프로세스 설계와 기존 프로세스 개선)에 따라 4가지 타입으로 구분하며, 각 타입별로 다양한 사례를 제시하고 이를 토대로 구체적인 경쟁력 향상 방안을 제안한다.
