엘라스토머 사출성형시 CAE 유동해석과 실제 성형품의 비교 (Comparison of CAE Flow Analysis and Practical Molding on Elastomer Injection Molding)

  • Thermoplastic elastomer(TPE) can be molded by conventional injection molding. Therefore TPE injection molding could be analyzed by commercial flow analysis software. However there are a little of gaps on CAE simulation results and practical molding. In this study, the properties of TPE were measured and applied to CAE simulation for comparing the simulation flow pattern and real flow pattern. The pattern that was controlled by injection time was match. The pattern that was controlled by injection stroke and rate was not match.

실험실 규모 Cometabolic Air Sparging 공정 적용 특성 평가 : 토양 내 활성미생물 별 MTBE 분해특성 (Evaluation of the Laboratory-Scale Cometabolic Air Sparging Process : Characterization of Indigeneous Microorganism on MTBE Degradation)

  • Cometabolic air sparging (CAS) is a new and innovative technology that uses air sparging principles but attempts to optimize in situ contaminant degradation by adding a growth substrate to saturated zone. CAS relies on the degradation of the primary growth substrate and cometabolic substrate transformation in the saturated zone and in the vadose zone for volatilized contaminants. In this study, we have investigated to determine MTBE degradation pattern and microbial activity variation if using propane as a primary substrate at the condition of considering air injection rate and air injection pattern. Laboratory-scale two-dimentional aquifer physical model studies were used and the experimental results were represented that the optimal conditions were as air injection rate of 1,000 mL/min and pulsed air injection pattern (15 min on/off). Over 1,000 mL/min air injection rate and continuous air injection pattern was no affected to increase DO concentration. On the other hand, Injection of propane and propane-utilizing bacteria degraded MTBE partially. And also, injection of propane- and MTBE-utilizing bacteria effectively degraded MTBE and TBA production was observed.

압축효과를 가미한 도광판의 전사성과 복굴절 향상에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on The Improvement of Pattern Replication and Birefringence in LGP by Adding Compression Effects)

  • It is necessary to improve the pattern replication and birefringence in LGP(Light guide panel) for better optical performance. In the present paper, the effects of injection-compression and injection-press mode with normal injection mold on the distribution of transcription of pattern and birefringence were studied. It was found that the values of pattern replication was improved and the birefringence was reduced for the cases of low initial clamping force in injection-compression mode and for the cases of longer mold opening length in injection-press mode, repectively.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the macroscopic spray characteristics and spray pattern of a gasoline direct injection (GDI) injector according to the increase of injection pressure. The macroscopic spray characteristics, such as a spray tip penetration and spray angle, were measured and analyzed from the frozen spray images, which are obtained from the spray visualization system including the high-speed camera, light-source, long-distance microscope (LDM). The spray pattern was analyzed through the deviation of the center of the spray plum and images were acquired using Nd: YAG Laser and ICCD(Intensified charge coupled device) camera. From the experiment and analysis, it revealed that the injection pressure have a significant influence on the spray tip penetration and spray pattern. However, the injection pressure have little influence on the spray angle. The increase of injection pressure induced the reduction of a closing delay. In addition, the deviation of spray center increase with the increase of injection pressure and the distance from a nozzle tip.

사출성형을 이용한 미세 패턴 성형 (Fabrication of nano pattern using the injection molding)

  • A plastic substrate with tiny rectangular pillars less than 100nm is injection molded to study pattern replication in injection molding. The size of the substrate is 50mm ${\times}$ 50mm and 1mm thick. The substrate has 9 patterned areas of which size is 2mm ${\times}$ 2mm respectively. The lengths of the pillars are 50nm, 100nm, 150nm and 200nm and the width and height are 50nm and about 100nm respectively. A pattern master is fabricated by e-beam writing using positive PR(photo resist) and then a nickel stamper replicated from the PR master by nickel electro-plating. Cr is deposited on the PR pattern master before nickel electro-plating as a conducting layer. Using this nickel stamper, several injection molding experiments are done to investigate effects of the injection molding parameters such as mold temperature, injection rate, packing pressure or pattern location on the replication of the patterns under 100nm.

인젝터 구동 전류 패턴 변화가 솔레노이드 타입 커먼레일 인젝터 분사율 특성에 미치는 영향에 대한 컴퓨터시뮬레이션 (A Computer Simulation of Injection Rate Characteristics of Solenoid Type Common Rail Injector According to Injector Driving Current Patterns)

  • The effect of injector driving current pattern on fuel injection rate of solenoid diesel common rail injector was studied by computer simulation. The time resolved fuel injection rate and injected quantity per stroke of a common rail injector driven with the five current patterns were computer simulated. The fuel injection rate and injected quantity per stroke according to the rail pressure and fuel injection period were also computer simulated. When the common rail injector was driven with the five driving current patterns of peak & hold, there was no difference in the fuel injection rate in the peak section regardless of all the current patterns of the five cases. On the other hand, the magnitude of the hold current value influenced the injection rate and injected quantity per stroke. That is, in the current pattern of three cases where the hold current value is equal to or more than a constant value of the peak current value, the fuel injection rates for the given common rail rail pressure and injection period are same one another. On the other hand, the current pattern of the two cases, in which the hold current value is smaller than a certain value, there is a large fluctuation in the fuel injection rate.

디젤오염 토양 및 지하수 복원을 위한 공기주입정화법 실험실 연구 : 공기주입량과 공기주입방식의 영향 (Lab-Scale Air/Bio-Sparging Study to Remediate Diesel-Contaminated Soil and Groundwater : The Effect of Air Injection Rate and Pattern)

  • 본 연구에서는 실험실 규모의 2D air/bio-sparging 장치를 이용하여 공기주입량과 공기주입방식이 디젤오염 토양/지하수의 복원에 미치는 영향을 평가하고 최적 조건을 도출하였다. 최적의 공기주입량과 공기주입방식은 1,000 ml/min의 공기주입과 15 min 간격의 간헐적인 공기주입 패턴이 효율적으로 관찰되었고, 실험기간동안 TPH와 DO 감소, $CO_2$ 생성은 오염원인 디젤이 효과적으로 생분해에 의해 제거가 이루어지고 있음 보여주었다. 즉, 최소한의 공기주입으로도 포화층에서의 디젤 분해를 효과적으로 증진시킬 수 있었으며, 간헐적인 공기주입방식은 대수층내에서의 공기 전달을 증진시킬 수 있었다. 또한 Air/bio-sparging공법의 대부분의 운전비가 blower와 off-gas 처리 시스템에 사용되는 전력비라는 것을 감안 할 때, 최적의 공기주입량과 간헐적인 공기주입방식은 운전비 절감의 효과를 가져다 줄 것으로 판단된다.

MmSH 사출성형법을 이용한 도광판용 나노패턴 형성기술 개발 (Technology to Form Nano-sized Pattern on Light Guiding Plate Using MmSH Injection Molding Method)

  • MmSH injection molding method to fabricate light guiding plate with nano-sized pattern was developed. A stamper was fabricated through photolithography, dry etching, and electroplating processes. While the stamper with nano-sized pattern in mold was kept at $180^{\circ}C$ during injection process, that was cooled down to $90^{\circ}C$ quickly after the injection process. The nano-sized pattern on light guiding plate processed by MmSH injection molding method was well transferred from stamper compared to that processed by conventional injection molding process.

  • 본 연구에서는 일반사출과 MmSH방식 두 가지의 사출성형공정을 이용하여 나노패턴 구조물을 제작하였다. 성형품에 나타난 나노패턴의 전사성은 MmS방식을 이용한 PC 성형품에서 가장 우수했다. 일반사출공정에서 HIPS로 제작된 성형품은 나노패턴의 전사가 잘 형성되었고, PC의 경우 전사가 잘 이루어지지 않았다 연구 결과 수지의 유동성이 좋고, 금형표면 온도가 높을수록 나노패턴의 전사성은 향상됨을 알 수 있었다.

사출 도광판의 프리즘 패턴 전사성에 관한 실험적 연구 (A study on the prizm pattern replication in injection molding)

  • We injection molded a wedge type of plate with micro prizm patterns on its surface and investigated the fidelity of replication of the micro pattern depending on the process parameter such as mold temperature, melt temperature, injection rate or packing pressure. The size of the size of the $90^{\circ}$ prizm pattern is $50{\mu}m$ and the size of the plate is about 300㎜${\times}$200㎜. The thicknesses are 2.6㎜. and 0.7mm at each edge of the wedge type of plate. The fidelity of the replication turned out quite different according to the process parameters and location of the patterns on the plate. We measured the cavity pressure and temperature in real-time during the molding to analyze the effect of the local melt pressure and temperature on the micro pattern replication.
