대심도 터널 암반 절리 보강을 위한 고점도 그라우팅 주입 성능 평가 (Evaluation of High-Viscosity Grouting Injection Perfomance for Reinforcement of Rock Joint in Deep -Depth Tunnels)

  • 본 연구는 대심도 조건에서 고효율 그라우팅 기술 개발을 목표로 하여, 다양한 주입 재료의 적용 가능성을 실험적으로 검증하였다. 1종 보통 포틀랜드 시멘트(OPC)와 마이크로 시멘트(MC)의 입자 크기 분석 및 주입 모형 실험을 통해 각 재료의 주입성능을 평가했다. 국내 대심도 기준, 즉 지하 40미터 이하 조건에서 Barton's Cubic Network 이론을 활용하여 암반 절리 간격을 산정했으며, 선정된 조건에서 입자 크기의 통과 가능성을 분석한 결과, MC는 암반 절리 간격을 통과한 반면, OPC는 간극을 통과하지 못하였다. 실험 장치 및 면적 계산 프로그램을 활용한 주입 모형 실험 결과에 따르면, OPC는 입자 크기가 크기 때문에 주입에 실패한 반면, MC는 고점도 조건에서도 주입이 가능한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로, 주입 재료에 따른 대심도 조건에서 그라우트 재료의 적용 가능성을 정량적 및 가시적으로 도출하였으며, 고점도 MC 재료는 대심도 암반 절리면 차수 보강에 효과적일 것으로 예상된다.

  • In order to predict the moldability of a injection molded part, a simulation of filling is needed. Especially when short shot is predicted by CAE simulation in the filling stage, there are mainly three ways to solve the problem. Modification of gate and runner, replacement of plastic resin, and adjustment of process conditions are the main ways. Among them, adjustment of process conditions is the most economic way in the cost and time since the mold doesn\\`t need t be modified at all. But it is difficult to adjust the process conditions appropriately in no times since it requires an empirical knowledge of injection molding. In this paper, a fuzzy neural network(FNN) based upon injection molding process is proposed to evaluate moldability in filling stage and also to solve the problem in case of short shot. An adequate mold temperature is generated through the fuzzy neural network where fill time and melt temperature are taken into considerations because process conditions affect each other.

  • Automotive engines need strategies to satisfy with the emission regulations in terms of PM and NOx. HC-LNT (Hydrocarbon-Lean NOx Trap) with secondary injection system is considered as more practical technology in order to cope with emission regulations. The HC-LNT system, which is using diesel fuel itself as a reducing agent, absorbs NOx in lean exhaust gas condition and releases NOx in rich exhaust gas conditions. In this system, inappropriate amounts of reducing agent will slip through the LNT without the profits of conversion and cause additional emission problems. Therefore, the suitable amount of reducing agent should be supplied into the catalytic converter. In this research, engine emission test was conducted to optimize injection quantity at the various engine test conditions. Different exhaust layouts and catalyst shapes have been studied and extension unit which makes better uniformity of exhaust gas was used for HC-LNT system. From this results, the effect of secondary injection conditions on NOx conversion characteristics of HC-LNT was clarified.

  • As world attention has focused on global warming and air pollution, high efficiency diesel engines with low $CO_2$ emissions have become more attractive. Premixed diesel engines in particular have the potential to achieve the more homogeneous mixture in the cylinder which results in lower NOx and soot emission. Early studies have shown that the operation conditions such as the EGR, intake conditions, injection conditions and compression ratio are important to reduce emissions in a PCCI (Premixed Charge Compression Ignition) engine. In this study a modified cam was employed to reduce the effective compression ratio. While opening timing of the intake valve was fixed, closing timing of the intake valve was retarded $30^{\circ}$. Although Atkinson cycle with the retarded cam leads to a low in-cylinder pressure in the compression stroke, the engine work can still be increased by advanced injection timing. On that account, we investigated the effects of various injection parameters to reduce emission and fuel consumption; as a result, lower NOx emission levels and almost same levels of fuel consumption and PM compared with those of conventional diesel engine cam timing could be achieved with the LIVC system.

사출성형 해석을 이용한 자동차 램프 가니쉬 렌즈의 유동기구 및 공정조건의 설계 (Design of Feed System and Process Conditions for Automobile Lamp Garnish Lens with Injection Molding Analysis)

  • In this study, we design the feed system and process conditions for a lamp garnish lens of an automobile. For this purpose, four design alternatives are presented and injection molding simulation analyses are performed. The optimal feed system is selected by considering the formability of the product and the cost of mold manufacture. The product formability is assessed by the weld line, warpage, sink mark and the maximum injection pressure, whereas the mold-making cost is estimated by the number of valve gates in the hot runner system. To improve the product formability, process conditions are optimized using an experimental design approach named one-factor-at-a-time. No weld line is generated as a result of the optimization. In addition, it is found the warpage and sink mark are reduced while the maximum injection pressure is increased, compared with those before the optimization.

플라스틱 랙기어의 사출성형 해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Injection Molding Analysis of a Plastic Rack Gear)

  • This study investigates the injection molding of a plastic rack gear and focuses on deflections in the part. The causes of deflections were found and resolved through a trade-off study by injection molding analysis. Based on a warpage analysis, the fiber orientation was found to be a dominant factor in the occurrence of deflections. Changes in the part design and various injection conditions were analyzed for their effects in reducing deflections. Based on the trade-off study, a new part bottom design, injection time, and melt temperature were recommended. A trial injection was done for the new plastic rack gear, and measurements showed that its flatness surpassed that of the original part and met the specified requirement. The short injection time, low melt temperature, and symmetric similar configuration of the part contributed to the reduction in deflections. Therefore, optimized gate design and injection conditions as well as a new part design were validated through injection molding analysis in this study.

모형실험을 통한 시멘트그라우팅 지수기법의 주입특성 (Injection Characteristics of Cement Grouting Waterproof by Model Tests)

  • 본 논문은 지하구조물의 누수에 대한 지수공법으로 이용되는 시멘트그라우팅 지수기법의 주입특성을 파악하고자 모형토조실험을 실시하였다. 모형토조 내의 지반조건은 현장상황을 재현시키기 위하여 대상시료토, 다짐정도, 함수상태를 변화시키고 주입재, 주입비, 주입압력, 주입량, 주입속도 등 주입조건을 다양하게 변화시켰다. 모형실험결과, 주입재의 침투성에 영향을 미치는 주요 요소는 토질의 종류 및 다짐정도임을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 적정 주입효과를 얻기 위해서는 주입시행 전에 배면지반의 상태를 정확히 파악한 후 주입을 하는 것이 필요하며 이와 같이 지하구조물에서의 누수 발생시 배면 지반상태의 파악은 지수기법 선정시 중요한 요소인 것으로 파악할 수 있었다.

  • This study is numerical analysis about optimal conditions of GDICI (gasoline direct injection compression ignition) engine operation using intake preheating. Numerical modeling was performed by using the KIVA-3V Release2 code integrated Chemkin chemistry solver II. For validation of numerical model, experiments were performed on a single-cylinder engine. Throughout the numerical simulations under variable conditions, the ranges of optimal conditions were found.

  • 향후 국내에서 수행될 이산화탄소 지중저장 프로젝트의 성공적인 수행을 위해서는 현장 지질조건에 최적화된 주입 조건을 설계하는 것이 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 주입량 및 주입온도 등의 주입조건이 격리저장시스템의 역학적 안정성에 미치는 영향을 열-수리-역학 연계해석기법의 하나인 TOUGH-FLAC 해석기법을 이용하여 평가하였다. 저장시스템의 역학적 안정성은 기존 균열의 전단미끄러짐 발생가능성을 활동마찰각 및 응력원을 이용하여 분석하였다. 이산화탄소의 주입온도가 저류층의 초기온도보다 낮은 저온주입의 조건에도 열응력으로 인한 인장균열은 발생하지 않는 것으로 파악되었으나, 저류층에서 전단미끄러짐이 발생하는 결과를 보였다. 단위시간당 이산화탄소 주입량을 변화시킨 시나리오 해석에서는 단계별로 주입량을 감소시키는 주입시나리오에서 기존 균열들의 전단미끄러짐 발생 가능성이 가장 낮은 것으로 평가되었다.

Numerical analysis of injection molding for filling efficiency on ultrasonic process

  • In this study, we focus on the improvement of the filling efficiency in injection molding by application of ultrasonic vibration. While studies about the filling efficiency of typical filling processes in the injection molding have been widely performed, there have been only few studies about the filling efficiency of an ultrasonic process. The effect of the ultrasonic vibration is an important process condition, which influences the flow characteristics of polymer melt. This new condition even affects well-known injection conditions such as cavity pressure, injection temperature and mold temperature. For this study, we carried out a numerical analysis by appropriate modeling and analysis of the ultrasonic process in the filling process. To verify this numerical analysis, we compared the numerical results with the experimental data. Also, we analyzed the filling process in a thin cavity using this numerical analysis. To understand the flow characteristics of polymer melt in the ultrasonic process, we substituted real and complex vibration conditions with simplified and classified conditions according to the position of vibrating cavity surfaces and the phase difference between two opposing cavity surfaces. We also introduced MFR (melt flow ratio) as a new index to estimate the filling efficiency in the ultrasonic process.
