에폭시 몰드형 BCT의 절연열화 특성 (Characteristics of Insulation Degradation in Epoxy Mold Type BCT)

  • Various stresses (such as electrical stress, mechanical stress, environmental and electrochemical stress, and defects of structure) result in insulation degradation of epoxy mold type insulators. Since the insulation degradation of BCT(Bushing Current Transformer) and bushing proceeds during fabrication process or operation time due to these causes, various methods to reduce the degradation in their insulation ability have been suggested. In this paper, we investigated surface temperature increment of these insulators due to PD(partial discharge). After the voltage applied into the insulator to generate the artificial PD, the surface temperature of the insulator was measured with non-contact thermometer using infrared rays. It was confirmed through the analysis based on PD experiments that the procession in the insulation degradation of the insulator could be estimated through the measurement of the surface temperature in the insulator.

  • In the recent years, as the research and the development of micro and precision machinery become active, the interest of micro actuators using SMA(Shape Memory Alloy) has been increased. The dynamic characteristic analysis of SMA is necessary for actuator application and many common researches report the material characteristics of SMA sufficiently. However, the research on dynamic characteristics is very deficient. In this paper, the helical spring are fabricated with NiTi SMA wire of high resistivity. The force, response speed, temperature, and displacement are measured by digital force gauge, infrared thermometer, and laser displacement sensor so that the dynamic characteristics of this SMA is analyzed. Also, bidirectional actuator was fabricated and experimented fir its performance.

The Practical Method and Experimental Verification of Temperature Estimation in the Permanent Magnet of Electric Machine

  • This paper presents a practical method for estimation of average temperature in the permanent magnet (PM) of electric machine by using finite element analysis (FEA) and dynamo load experiment. First of all, the temperature effect of PM to the torque has been employed by FEA in order to evaluate the Temperature-Torque characteristic curve. The 1st order polynomial equation which is torque attenuation coefficient is derived by the FEA result of the Temperature-Torque curve. Next, torque saturation test with constant current condition is performed by dynamo load experiment. Then, the temperature trend can be estimated by adding the initial starting temperature using the torque attenuation coefficient and torque saturation curve. Lastly, estimated temperature is validated by infrared thermometer which measures temperature of PM surface. The comparison between the estimated result and experimental result gives a good agreement within a deviation of maximum $8^{\circ}C$.

  • A self-designed, written in labview, Organic Light-Emitting Diode junction temperature measuring program was used to calculate the internal junction temperature for devices during operation, and an infrared thermometer was used to measure the backside temperature of the device substrate, to discuss the effects of the junction and substrate temperature difference to the characteristics of the device.

Aceclofenac이 골격근 형태에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Aceclofenac on the Skeletal Muscle)

  • There has been several usual ways to cure pain in osteological muscle: use oral medicine or injection, or apply medicine to a sore place. The purpose of this study was to examine, by using thermometer and digital infrared thermographic imaging, how much the permeation of aceclofenac, an anodyne and antiphlogistic, into sore skin brought a change to skin temperature after that was' applied to it. The findings of this study were as below; 1. A cream made of aceclofenac yielded $0.61^{\circ}C$ difference in temperature, but the difference wasn't statistically significant. 2. An aceclofenac to which oleic acid was added went through microemulsion and applied, and there was $0.3^{\circ}C$ change in temperature, the biggest significant difference(P<.05), after approximately 15 minutes passed. 3. An aceclofenac to which labrasol was added went through microemulsion and applied, and there was a growing rise in temperature with the lapse of time. After 30 minutes passed, the final temperature showed $1.25^{\circ}C$ rise, which was a significant change(P<.05). 4. As the temperature was measured by digital infrared thermographic imaging, there was about $3.97^{\circ}C$ fall, the biggest change, which was significant(P<.05). The findings of this study suggested that the application of aceclofenac to sore skin caused a change in skin temperature, as that permeated into it.

특이점 분석에 의한 노건조된 흙의 건조무게 측정에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study of the Oven Dried Soil Weight Measurement Using Singularity Analysis)

  • 흙의 건조단위중량은 노건조된 흙의 무게를 측정하여 구할 수 있다. 한국산업표준(KS F)의 규정에 의해 110±5℃로 노건조된 흙은 공기 중에 노출 시 무게가 지속적으로 증가한다. 그러나, 노건조된 흙의 무게 측정 시간에 대한 규정이 없어 정확한 건조무게를 측정하는데 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 무게 측정 시 나타나는 무게 특이점의 분석을 통해 건조무게를 쉽게 결정할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 무게 특이점은 측정된 무게 중 가장 작은 값을 나타내며, 시료의 공기 중 수분 흡수의 영향이 최소화된 무게이다. 실험 과정에서 통계적 분석법을 이용하여 용기를 선택하였고, 광학현미경을 사용하여 시료의 사진을 제시하였다. 또한, 비접촉식 적외선 온도계를 사용하여 무게 특이점의 발생 온도를 측정하였다. 주문진 모래와 내성천 모래, 예천 화강풍화토, 제주도 모래, 사브카 모래, 울릉도 모래 등 6종류의 흙에 대하여 무게 특이점을 분석한 결과, 노건조된 각 시료의 무게 특이점은 무게 측정 후 8~27초 사이에서, 온도는 103.4~108.13℃의 범위에서 나타났다. 특이점의 무게 감소율은 흙 시료에 따라 0.0066~0.0085%로 나타났다.

연안 해양기상(해상풍, 수온) 관측을 위한 항공기 원격탐사 시스템 (Development of Airborne Remote Sensing System for Monitoring Marine Meteorology (Sea Surface Wind and Temperature))

  • 인공위성은 넓은 지역에 대한 전 세계의 정보를 획득하는데 유용하지만, 좁은 지역에 대한 적시적소에 촬영하는 데는 한계가 있다. 이러한 단점을 극복하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 항공기 원격탐사 시스템을 구축하였다. 항공기 원격탐사시스템은 SAR센서와 열적외선 센서로 구성되어 있으며, 획득된 자료의 방사 및 기사보정을 위하여 GPS, IMU, 온도/습도계 등도 설치하였다. SAR영상은 표면 거칠기에 따라 민감하게 반응하여 밝기 값이 달라지게 되며, 해양에서는 바람에 의해 쉽게 생성 되는 표면 장력파의 진폭이 이러한 표면 거칠기를 야기한다. 따라서 정량화된 SAR의 후방산란과 해상풍 사이의 관계식을 통해 해상풍 추출이 가능하다. 한편, 열적외선 센서는 물체의 온도를 측정하는데 유용하며, 물체와 센서 사이의 대기에 의한 효과를 보정한 후 수온 추출이 이루어진다. 이 두 센서를 탑재한 항공기로 서해안 일대를 4차례 시험비행을 수행하였으며, 이로부터 획득된 SAR 및 열적외선 영상의 품질이 연안환경 모니터링 및 해양기상 자료 추출에 충분함을 보여주었다.

온침의 열전달 특성에 대한 실험적 해석 (Experimental Interpretation of Heat Transmits Pattern on Warm Needling)

  • Objectives : Many researches have studied warm needling technique to standardize its treatment by temperature measurement and material differences in the effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to compare the temperature changes of the acupuncture needle shaft during the combustion process of the moxa stick to determine the heat transfer pattern of the warn needling. Methods : A moxa stick($7{\times}8mm$) was connected to one side of the needle shaft using a stainless steel needle(ø 0.3 mm, ø 0.5 mm, ø 0.8 mm, shaft length 40 mm) with the needle handle removed. During the warm needling, temperature changes of the needle shaft were observed with an infrared camera(Flir E30) and an infrared thermometer(TESTO 845). Results : In the normal condition, heat transmit of needle shaft increased at spots 10 mm and 25 mm below the moxa stick. The amount of heat transmit increased with the diameter of needle shaft. However, when the heat shield was installed to exclude radiant heat from the moxa stick, heat transfer was less at 10 mm below the moxa stick and no temperature change was observed at 25 mm below the moxa stick. Heat transfer by warm needling does not reach the end of needle shaft even in ø 0.8 mm needle. Conclusions : It is suggested that the radiant heat of moxa stick results in the heat transmit of acupuncture needle shaft. Thus, radiant heat transmit must be considered as one of the heat transfer characteristics of the warm needling.
