  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the way of analyzing land uses to utilize GIS in the field of urban planning. The Busan Land Information System was built in early 2000s. The building data were used by digital map(1:1,000). And building register data in 2001 were utilized as the attribute data. Also, by calculating specialization factor, we distinct the characteristic of every land use of the city, and it compares every land use zone. This study calculated and compared an observation frequency and an expectation frequency of every building use and land use zone. We found that the use of the building tend to be controlled and guided by the land use zone.

In all, 742 copies out of the 919 distributed were returned and found usable, thereby making the return rate to be 81%. Data collected were analysed using mean and standard deviation. The study revealed that the LIS postgraduate students frequently use social media such as Wikipedia (x=3.94>3.50), Instagram (x=3.86>3.50), Facebook (x=3.85>3.50), Zoom ($\overline{x}$=3.78>3.50), LinkedIn (x=3.69>3.50), YouTube ($\overline{x}$=3.54>3.50), Twitter (x=3.52>3.50). • Background: Breast cancer is a common cancer affecting women in Malaysia and the use of complementary/alternative medicine (CAM) has been associated with delays in getting treatment. The aim of the study was to explore the use of CAM and the influencing factors in the Northern region of Peninsular Malaysia. Materials and Methods: This was a cross-sectional descriptive study on a convenience sample of 100 Malaysian breast cancer survivors. Findings: The reported use of CAM among the breast cancer survivors was lower than in other studies but the types of CAM used had a similar pattern with nutrition supplements/vitamins being the most common. The factors that positively influenced the use of complimentary/traditional therapy were income and getting information from television or radio. Survivors with access to internet/blogs appear to have lower odds of using complimentary/traditional therapy compared to the respondents who reported no such access. Conclusions: Information transmitted via television and radio appears to have a positive influence on CAM use by breast cancer patients compared to other information sources and it is important to ensure that such information is accurate and impartial.

  • Objectives: To analyze whether there are perceptual differences in internet oral health information use between ordinary people who underwent dental treatments and dental hygienists. Second, the study aimed to analyze related issues, and, third, to find a developmental direction to provide fundamental information for developing patient-customized websites to improve dental services to suit contemporary needs. Methods: From September 1 to September 30, 2018, a questionnaire survey was conducted, with 367 participants (209 dental hygienists and 149 patients) in order to analyze their objective agreement, subjective congruence, and accuracy. As a study tool, the questionnaire consisted of 11 items about the perception of internet oral health information use and 11 on the estimated perceptions of both groups in order to compare their perceptions and estimates of each other. Results: Objective agreement was analyzed and, as a result, dental hygienists and patients were found to demonstrate similar results in terms of their perceptions of internet oral health information use. With regard to subjective agreement, the study subjects either underestimated or overestimated internet oral health information use more than they perceived. In terms of accuracy, dental hygienists and patients had different perceptions regarding internet oral health information use. Therefore, accuracy was somewhat low. Conclusions: In order to improve individuals' self-care ability and increase therapeutic instructional adherence for oral healthcare, it is necessary to apply internet oral health information properly to each patient's individual oral state.
