  • For the purpose of this study, in order to adapt to the era of intelligent informatization in the 4th Industrial Revolution, we propose an information processing and analysis technology education plan that can solve problems through information search and collection. To this end, first, we explored the necessity and content of information processing and analysis technology in hyperconnection, hyperintelligence, and hyperconvergence under the theme of various majors in IT, focusing on understanding information technology in the software and hardware curriculum. Second, the curriculum improvement plan was proposed based on information literacy, computing thinking skills, and cooperative problem-solving skills for efficient software and hardware-linked curriculum operation based on information processing and analysis technology. Third, I would like to emphasize that it is essential to secure connectivity between other studies for future innovation in new technologies related to computer technology, machine technology, and infrastructure technology through hyperconnection, hyperintelligence, and hyperconvergence in the software and hardware curriculum. Through this, we intend to cultivate creative convergence talent required by the future society.

Business that don't understand the changes and that can't change their operating model in time will be at a disadvantage. Information technology infrastructure and its management are key components of e-business The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of information technology infrastructure and its management to the type of information systems used and the use of e-business. A total of 56 Korean firms responded to the survey instrument. There was indirect effect to the use of e-business from the information technology structure via communication capacity and direct effect from management type. The study also found that firms with less centralized forms of information technology were more frequent users of e-business, Firms that have more freedom in information technology decision making tended to be users of the new technology and take advantage opportunities that exits on the information technology.

  • As shown in Wikipedia, tagging or cross-linking through major keywords in a document collection improves not only the readability of documents but also responsive and adaptive navigation among related documents. In recent years, the Semantic Web has increased the importance of social tagging as a key feature of the Web 2.0 and, as its crucial phenotype, Tag Cloud has emerged to the public. In this paper we provide an efficient method of automated in-text keyword tagging based on large-scale controlled term collection or keyword dictionary, where the computational complexity of O(mN) - if a pattern matching algorithm is used - can be reduced to O(mlogN) - if an Information Retrieval technique is adopted - while m is the length of target document and N is the total number of candidate terms to be tagged. The result shows that automatic in-text tagging with keywords filtered by Information Retrieval speeds up to about 6 $\sim$ 40 times compared with the fastest pattern matching algorithm.

  • The purpose of this paper is to study the information technology-related courses offered by the Departments of Library and Information Science. Rapid development of computer and telecommunication technologies has brought many changes in the work environments of libraries as well as librarians functions. Accordingly the Departments of Library and Information Science have been teaching information technology to meet the changing needs of the information environment. This research aims at finding out how the information technology-related courses have been changed, what are the contents of those courses, and what libraries need as for as information technology is concerned.

The questionnaire was sent to 300 companies listed on the stock market at random The author received 176 responses of which 142 were complete and valid. According to the analysis of questionnaires, the adoption level of information technologies was dependent on the perception of top managers on the importance of information technology in business competitiveness. Furthermore the level of relation between the information technology adoption and business performance was significant. Therefore businesses need to increase the utilization of information technologies, such as establishment of logistics information system, network with other business partners in order to business logistics performance.
