  • Personal information security has been as risk ever since the development of information technology increased its internet use. As personal information security is compromised there will be a rise in personal privacy conflicts and this will become an important social issue. The following research is a presentation of the warning map for risk monitoring on personal information security. First, the personal information security process is identified then defined. Second, in order to achieve the personal information security's objective, a survey was taken and the data was collected. Third, factor in the Fishbone Diagram's analysis and figure out the key indicators that include metric and threshold. Last, develop the warning map which has the matrix table composed of the process and the risk. It displays the warning based on the threshold and the value of key indicators related to risks.

  • A map is defined as model of 3D spatial phenomena of the real world. Because most of the maps are represented on the 2D plane, limited information is provided. In consequence, applications are also limited with 2D maps and map users of various fields require 3D form of map. Without doubt, state-of-the-art information technology such as telematics and ubiquitous is location based system, therefore, role of the 3D mapping is getting more significant. It is obvious that 3D maps provide more visual perception than 2D maps. The main object of this stud)r is focused on generation of 3D digital maps in economical and efficient way using photogrammetrically compiled data. Topographic maps are required updating and revision in a certain period and the period is getting shorter Therefore, development of the map editing system is key issue for maintaining quality and updating of the maps to provide reliable geographic information. Special requirements should be taken account into 3D digital map editing. Therefore. design, configuration and functions of the editing system were explored.

  • Wireless RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) fingerprinting is one of the most popular methods for indoor positioning as it provides reasonable accuracy while being able to exploit existing wireless infrastructure. However, the process of radio map construction (aka fingerprint calibration) is laborious and time consuming as precise physical coordinates and wireless signals have to be measured at multiple locations of target environment. This paper proposes a method to build the map from a combination of RSSIs without location information collected in a crowdsourcing fashion, and a handful of labeled RSSIs using a semi-supervised self organizing map learning algorithm. Experiment on simulated data shows promising results as the method is able to recover the full map effectively with only 1% RSSI samples from the fingerprint database.

  • In this paper, we proposed a new algorithm for determination of many-to-many corresponding pairs between block-polygon sets from the national topographical map and the cadastral map in Korea Land Information System, caused by different abstraction and generalization rules of the two maps. Our proposed algorithm starts from an assumption that a block-polygon for a N:M pair should significantly overlap at least one block polygon of the counterpart group, and determines N:M pairs using an iterative updating and searching with this overlapping analysis. This iteration process is terminated when the N:M corresponding pairs satisfy our predefined 1:1 corresponding condition.

  • Existing Bayesian update method using ultrasonic sensors only for mobile robot map building has a problem of the quality of map being degraded in the wall with irregularity, which is caused by the wide beam distribution. For improving this problem, an infrared sensors aided map building method is presented in this paper. Information of obstacle at each region in ultrasonic sensor beam is acquired using the infrared sensors and the information is used to get the confidence of ultrasonic sensor information via fuzzy inference system and genetic algorithm. Combining the resulting confidence with the result of Bayesian update method, an improve map is constructed. The proposed method showed good results in the simulations and experiments.

  • The development of electronic technology brings the advent of GPS and electronic total station which measures, stores and records automatically angles, distances and 3d coordinates Electronic totalstation is the surveying equipment and system2000 is the supporting program that enables totals tation to get 3d terrain information, construction of the database and automatic drafting of the cartographic map. In this study, we aims at studying the system which can produce automatically the digital cartographic map by using total station and system2000. For this study, cartographic maps of a region are produced by total station and system2000, and then builded digital cartographic map on the autocad2000 environment and also we analysed two digital cartographic maps. As a results of this study, it is found that digital cartographic map by total station and system2000 are much more accurate and efficient than cartographic map by electronic plan table surveying.

  • markerless system to a two-dimensional imaging is used to estimate the depth map as a stereo vision system uses expensive equipment. We estimate the depth map from monocular image enhancement and object extracted relative to the vanishing point is estimated depth map. Augmented objects in order to get better virtual immersion depending on the distance of the objects should be drawn in different sizes. In this paper, creating images obtained from the vanishing point, and in-depth information on the augmented object, augmented with different sizes and improved engagement of inter-object interaction.

  • We investigated the antipodal-symmetric dispersion maps of a dispersion-managed link with a midway optical phase conjugator to compensate for the distorted 960 Gb/s wavelength division multiplexed (WDM) signal caused by these effects. The proposed antipodal-symmetric dispersion map has various shapes depending on the detailed design scheme. We confirmed that the dispersion-managed link designed with the dispersion map of the antipodal-symmetric structure is more advantageous than the conventional uniform dispersion map for compensating WDM channels. It was also confirmed that among the antipodal-symmetric structures, the dispersion map configured with the S-1-profile, in which S is inverted up and down, was more effective for distortion compensation than the dispersion map configured with the S-profile. In particular, we confirmed that the S-1-profile can broaden the optical pulse width intensively at a short transmission distance, more effectively compensating for the distorted WDM channel. Because this structure makes the intensity of the optical pulse relatively weak, it can decrease the nonlinear Kerr effect.

  • Recently as users' requests for geographic information systems are being more various, several new functions are being added to existing geographic information systems. One of them is linkage of spatial geographic data and video / image data to offer more realistic information of geographic objects to users. Geographic information systems implementing this function are called video geographic information system. In this paper, we design and implement a video geographic information system for providing map data, video data and link information of them to web applications. We 1) design system architecture of a video geographic information system, 2) analyze some processes to construct link information of map data and video data, 3) design database schema to store map data, video data, and link information, and 4) design some XML/GML schema used to query and retrieve these data for web applications.

  • Field surveys for the digital map being constructed is being conducted using various work guide books based on the digital mapping internal rule. However, a modification of a rule used for paper map construction is being used for the digital mapping rule, which is causing many problems with the quality of the digital map. Therefore, to construct a high-quality digital map, general standards related to conducting field surveys need to be reviewed, and it's extremely important to construct an accurate digital map based on this. Accordingly, in this study, problems related to conducting field surveys for the construction of the digital map are analyzed in order to establish more suitable field survey standards for constructing an accurate digital map. To this end, work regulations related to construction of a digital map were analyzed, and attribute and field survey data were compared to those of a previously-constructed digital map for analysis. By reflecting opinions of field surveyors and related experts to the results of the analysis, more suitable field survey standards for constructing the digital map were presented.
