  • In this paper, we design and implement of the remote method connection system using Java RMI in the distributed computing system. In pursuing this goal, we implement the dynamic method connection interface and API. And then we describe the dynamic memory management routine.

  • In order for the connection to the wireless network from the list of priorities of the wireless AP to AP profile automatic connection by selecting the preferred method to register a profile, which is determined at the time of the change, the user does not respond to the demands of the part. In this study, the frequency of the user's access in accordance with the wireless AP, and by creating a profile, the user needs to meet with regard to network access adaptive research.

  • In this paper, the performance of the WebService architecture for QoS guaranteed connection provisioning in inter-AS domain networks has been measured and analyzed for service publish/inquiry, collection of NMSs ASBR details, source routing by ingress NMS in constraint based routing and connection establishment. From the analysis, it has been found that, the connection between inter-AS domain networks can be established within the usual time limits of 3 seconds by the Web Service architecture. Since no standard solutions have been implemented in Interdomain QoS provisioning, this performance analysis assures Web Service architecture as a promising solution and can be easily implemented in the early stages of MPLS network employment.

  • Connection admission decision in ATM networks requires decision made in real time using fast algorithm. It is difficult to construct a model of the multiplexed traffic and thus, approximation of the traffic load is necessary. In this paper, we propose a measurement-based dynamic CAC(Connection admission Control) in ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) networks, which observes current traffic by the moving window and set the window size to the value which is computed from the measured cell loss amount. It is based on the measurements of the traffic load over an admission period that is load enough to reflect the current traffic behavior instead of analytic modeling. And, the dynamic reallocation of bandwidth for each class leads to effective bandwidth utilization. The performance of proposed method is analyzed through computer simulation. The performance of proposed method is analyzed by using SIMAN simulation package and FORTRAN language. As can be seen in the simulation result, cell loss performance and bandwidth utilization have been increased.

  • Currently, it is not popular to use the STEP based product information in the construction drawing files, in spite of the importance and possibility of using various product data in drawing files on the CALS/EC environment. This paper aims to demonstrate a construction drawing information management system based on ISO 10303/STEP. To achieve this aim, the authors have analyzed the current construction drawing information classification hierarchy widely used for domestic and international, and examined the material data connection mechanism within CAD drawing data, and finally investigated the management systems for construction documentations and drawings in a public companies. Therefore, the expected benefit of the proposed system is that STEP drawing information management will be done standardization and the information of STEP construction drawing can be managed, shared and supported design business through materials data connection.

  • Web proxy caching provides an effective way to reduce access latency and bandwidth requirement. In particular, prefix caching is considered as an alternative for improving video delivery over wide area networks because video objects are usually too large to be cached in their entirety. Nevertheless, many studies have pointed that the user-perceived latency is often not dominated by object transmission time, but rather by setup process such as TCP connection time that precedes it. We propose pre-connecting techniques and show that the techniques can be used efficiently in TCP splicing. Our analysis shows the pre-connection significantly reduces start-up latency and TCP connection time in simple analytical model. The deployment of the proposed pre-connection does not require protocol modification or the cooperation of other entities.

  • Migrim(Migration enhanced Grid Middleware) is a communication middleware between embedded devices and multiple servers. In traditional client-server communication, users' requests are sent to and processed by a designated server even though the server may suffer from a heavy load. In addition, the designated server may not have proper information to process the user's request correctly. Proposed connection migration mechanism and transaction migration mechanism are designed to improve the performance and accuracy of request processing. The connection migration is a procedure for delegating a connection to another server, which results in a well-distributed balancing of load among the servers. The transaction migration is a procedure for delegating a transaction to another server, and improves the accuracy of response.

  • In this paper we verified that the window based TCP performance of throughput can be improved by the traffic connection efficiency. and have studied the performance of traffic congestion control that is controlling transmission rate. In wireless network, the bidirectional node is run by estimating the usage rate of link of error control idle and the throughput is shown by transmitting segments. The throughput rate shows almost no delay due to the bidirectional traffic connection efficiency up to the allowable point as increasing the transport rate by the critical value, depending on the size of end-to-end node queue of the increase of transport rate. This paper reports the performance improvement as the number of feedback connection traffic congestion control increases because of the increase of the number of asynchronous transport TCP connections.

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient VP extension algorithm for ABR multipoint-to-point connection in ATM networks. The VC merging or VP merging is used to implement ABR multipoint-to-point connection. We use the VP merging technique. To solve the scarcity problem of VP resources, we propose an efficient VP extension algorithm. Since the proposed scheme follows the standard VPI/VCI format, it doesn’t require another table according to the VP extension. We compare the proposed scheme with VC merging algorithm. The result shows that the proposed method can provide fair bandwidth allocation among the sources in multipoint-to-point connection.

  • In this paper, we propose a new connection admission control(CAC) algorithm for traffic control in ATM network in which traffic estimation is performed based on user-specified parameters at every moment of connection request or connection release by recursive formula which makes real-time calculation possible. And traffic estimation using cell flow measurement is carried out when the number of connectioned calls does not change during a measurement reflection period. Performance analysis of the proposed method is carried out using several aspects for homogeneous and heterogeneous bursty traffic. The results showed that the proposed CAC method revealed better performance, than conventional CAC method for burst model in both utilization and QoS point of view.
