  • Purpose - Korean Wave that overspreads around Asia and America, especially the Korean beauty wave, has reached Mongolia and Mongolian consumers. Mongolia consumers usually prefer foreign cosmetic brands to local brands, because the local brands cannot satisfy fast changing needs and wants of local consumers. Research design, data, and methodology - Based on previous studies about life style of Mongolian consumers, advertisement properties and consumer behaviors, we propose a research model and related hypothesis. In order to test hypotheses, we analyzed 366 survey data out of 376 by eliminating improper 10 responses. Factor analysis and reliability analysis was conducted by SPSS 22.0. We used multiple regression analysis and parameter analysis to test the relation between variables. Results - As exploring the Mongolian consumers' current usage of cosmetic products, we found that the customers' focus is how the products fit with their skin. Mongolian consumers often get the information about cosmetic products through TV and internet. Mongolian consumers show positive attitudes on the appearance of Korean celebrities in responsibility, while there is no significant effect on attractiveness. Mongolian consumer's behaviors toward brand have positive effect on both responsibility and attractiveness of Korean commercial celebrities. Responsibility and attractiveness of Korean commercial celebrities have positive effect on the behaviors toward advertisements of cosmetic products. Conclusions - Behaviors toward advertisements of cosmetic products have positive effect on both purchase intention and loyalty of customer. Responsibility and attractiveness of Korean commercial celebrities have positive effect on mediating variable of behavior toward advertisement and independent variable of purchase intention. Responsibility and attractiveness of Korean commercial celebrities have positive effect on mediating variable of behavior toward advertisement and independent variable of loyalty of customer. In order to improve the effect of advertisements, firms need to consider not only the technique of the model but also the image of model in regard to trust and professionalism appealing to consumers. In addition, firms need to choose the model who fits in with the image of the firms and the products and service of the firms. Finally, Mongolian consumers tend to acquire the shopping information through TV advertisements, especially featuring Korean popular stars, thus, TV advertisements can be a wise option in Mongolian cosmetic market.

  • With the many advantages of the internet, online shopping has become one of the fastest growing types of retail businesses. However, internet-based firms are much more firmly required to retain existing customers rather than secure new ones, and to make them revisit the site by strengthening trust and loyalty, thereby improving profits and outrivaling competitors. Commitment is an essential part of successful long-term relationships between buyers and sellers. Although commitments by both parties in an exchange can provide the foundation for the development of relational social norms, disproportionate commitments can lead to opportunism by the less committed partner. Moreover, flow, which is characterized by intense concentration and enjoyment, was found to be significantly linked with exploratory use behavior, which in turn was linked to the extent of computer use. The level of flow was, itself, determined by the individual's sense of being in control, and the level of challenge perceived in maneuvering a website. Website attractiveness goes hand in hand with the attractiveness of an internet shopping mall, and it can be conceptualized as the persuasive effectiveness of a message by the use of familiarity, favor, similarity, etc. It occurs when information receivers try to achieve self-satisfaction when they actually or emotionally identify themselves with an information source. This study investigates the relationship between the perceived system characteristics of an internet shopping mall and the loyalty of online consumers, and it examines how perceived website attractiveness and flow play mediating roles between the perceived system characteristics of an internet shopping mall and the affective commitment in the context of a clothes internet shopping mall. For these purposes, a structural model comprising several variables was developed. That model was tested with an analysis of moment structure (AMOS) using data from respondents who had purchased clothing through the internet during the past three months. In this model, the perceived system characteristics of an internet shopping mall, such as familiarity, reputation, uniqueness, positive emotions, self-efficacy, and interactivity, were proposed to affect the website's attractiveness and flow, and lead to a higher affective commitment over time. Thus, the perceived website attractiveness and flow were proposed as core mediating variables between perceived system characteristics and affective commitment. The results of a reliability test using Cronbach's Alpha, and a confirmatory factor analysis warranted using unidimensionality for the measures for each construct. In addition, the nomological validity of the measures was warranted from the results of a correlation analysis. The results of empirical analyses indicated that systematic attributes resulting in website attractiveness and user's characteristics, thereby triggering customers' flow, play a crucial role in inducing customers' affective commitment, and a user's characteristics are twice as important as systematic attributes in this study. Moreover, familiarity, reputation, and uniqueness all have a significant effect on website attractiveness, and the research showed that uniqueness took the first place, and that familiarity and reputation followed in order of magnitude. The fact that reputation was not the most important factor that affects the attractiveness of an internet shopping mall, with uniqueness or familiarity having a greater impact, suggests much deeper implications. Finally, positive emotion, self-efficacy, and interactivity all have a significant effect on customers' flow. In particular, the fact that positive emotion, compared to self-efficacy or interactivity, has much more impact on flow is very suggestive.

  • Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) service is the convergence service of the telecommunication and broadcasting that provides various bidirectional multimedia contents by IPTV service subscribe's request through the high-speed internet. However, the proposed technologies current do not guarantee the security such as authentication between Set-Top-Box (STB) and the user mobile devices available IPTV service at home domain, and authentication of mobile user device at out of door. This paper proposes the authentication protocol for distributing content securely from STB to the users' mobile devices at home domain and authentication for network access and IPTV service access when the user's mobile device is moved out of the house. The proposed scheme using the proxy signature enables to distribute and protect securely the contents protected through an underlying Conditional Access System (CAS) without re-encrypting then that the existing scheme should employ. Then this protocol supports the authentication scheme to get service access authentication based on network access authentication using the signature, which the STB issued on behalf of the trust authority of IPTV service provider. Also the proposed authentication protocol reduces the total communication overhead and computation time comparing to the other authentication protocol.

  • The Certificate Revocation List(CRL) or the Online Certificate Status Protocol(OCSP)has been used to validate certificates. However, the CRL cannot validate certificates in realtime because of the Time-Gap problem and the OCSP server overloads in a large scale secure system. In addition, the client cannot access a wired LAN until the client has been authenticated by the authentication server on the IEEE 802. 1x framework. Therefore, the client cannot validate the authentication server's certificate using a certificate validation server. Thus, the client cannot authenticate the authentication server in realtime. To solve these problems this paper designed a secure system that can protect the content of communications and authenticate users in realtime on a wireless LAN The designed certificate validation protocol was proved that the stability and efficiency of the system was very high, the result of the validation had the presence, the speed of the validation was not affected by the system scale, the number of authorities user must trust was reduced to one, and the overload of the validation server was Protected. And the designed user authentication and key exchange protocols were Proved that the mutual authentication was possible in realtime and the fact of the authentication could be authorized by the CA because of using the authorized certificates.

  • This study is an attempt to provide some answers to question about how characteristics and general recognition regarding internet use in Korea and Japan influence fostering and maintaining on-line social network in each of countries. Survey is used to compare Korean internet users and Japanese internet users in terms of characteristics of on-line social network, individual's propensity for internet use, including their recognition on internet. The study's main findings go as follows. First, Korean internet users tend to be more active in using internet than Japanese internet users do, thus having larger on-line social network and more intensive internet use than Japanese internet users do. However, there is a commonality that majority of internet users in both countries use internet to connect them to person with whom they have private relationship but they cannot meet frequently. Second, for Korean internet users, individual's propensity, characteristics, and recognition regarding internet use is not related to how to contact others. To the contrary, for Japanese internet users, how to contact others in on-line setting seems to vary according to whether or not they have relation-oriented internet use and how they recognize the availability of internet. Third, a commonality regarding the size of on-line social network is found between Korea and Japan that the total numbers of people enrolled as network increases if people use internet in order to get information. This confirms previous finding that relationship based on weak tie is instrumental in fostering on-line social relations and likely produces advantage in getting information. Finally, for Japanese internet users, the degree of risk recognized in on-line setting, that is the degree of interpersonal trust, appears to greatly influence overall relationship -building in on-line.

  • This paper is aimed to prepare some policy-measures which is helpful for China Money FDI in Korea by analysing FDI-related data and political strength and weakness between the two countries and studying fundamental preconditions required for Korea's China Money FDI strategies. As the result of research, key preconditions found out can be summarized as follows; First, because China-Korea economic relationship is largely insufficient in a complementary view as well as in a cooperative state level, Korea should remove the threats in advance that could lead two countries to unlimited competition, and then expand to a relationship of trust between China and Korea. Second, Korea, at least from the perspective of China, may not be an attractive investment destination. Therefore, it is necessary to take advantage of Korea's FTA-expansion-strategy opportunities such as Korea-US FTA which has entered into force recently. Third, because China always has a lot of alternative investment opportunities among world instead of Korea, so Korea should not overlook the fact that China has the bargaining power in large part related on the investment conditions in Korea, such as investment field, investment size, how to invest China Money to Korea, etc. Fourth, if Korea's FDI policy is trapped in the existing rules of the political frame, and moreover Korea can not have the role of rule breaker, it will be difficult to expect Korea's China Money FDI results compared to those efforts. Fifth, if Korea will execute China Money FDI strategies in the context of overestimating the China Power or China Money, it should be noted that Korea may have unexpected losses lead to a national by reason of outward and quantitative investment or bad investment.
