SCA Advice System: Ontology Framework for a Computer Curricula Advice System Based on Student Behavior

  • This study proposed an SCA advice system. It is an ontology-based recommender that provides advice on appropriate computer curricula based on the behavior of high school students. The three computer curricula at Chiang Mai Rajabhat University include computer science (CS), information technology (IT), and web programming and security (WEB). This study aims to design the ontology framework for an SCA advice system. The system considers three core ontologies: student, computer-curriculum, and advice. After analyzing student behaviors, the behavior types of CS, IT, and WEB were determined to be SB-2, SB-1, and SB-5, respectively. All subjects in these three curricula were analyzed and grouped into seven groups. Their curricula were synthesized in terms of basic skills, basic knowledge, and characteristics. Finally, advice results can be obtained by consolidating the curriculum nature of the CS, IT, and WEB curricula.

  • This paper analyzes performance measures of a Bluetooth_based mobile home network system. The home network system consists of terminals with Bluetooth interfaces, access points (AP), a home PC, and a gateway A mobile host in wireless terminals uses Mobile IP for supporting the mobility This paper considers four types of data traffic, which are new connection traffic, handoff traffic, Internet data traffic, and control data traffic and suggests a queueing system model of the home network system, where the AP and the home PC are modeled as M/G/1 with four priority queues and the gateway is modeled as M/G/1 with a single queue The generation rate and service time of individual traffic influence their performance measures. Based ell the suggested model, we propose the elapsed time of data traffic in terms of the number of cells, the number of Home PCs, arrival rates of four types of traffic and the service rates of AP/Home PCs/Gateway To analyze influences on the elapsed time with respect to arrival rate of four types of traffic, some examples are given.

20대 남성의 의류 치수 체계 개발 (Development of Appeal Sizing System of Males in Their Twenties)

  • The purpose of this study is to characterize body types of males in their twenties, and to provide information on body types of males by classifying them into groups. In addition, this study attempts to provide ways that can help improve the fit and coverage rate of ready-to-wear clothes by developing an apparel sizing system according to body types. 297 male subjects in their twenties participated in this study. 54 anthropometric and 35 photographic measurements were taken from each subject. After combining the body types of the front and the side into a whole body, we selected typical body types out of the combinations. It is shown that 84.64% of males in their twenties belong to the HI type, H/equation omitted/ type, X/equation omitted/ type, Xl type, Yl type, and HS type. To develop a new size system of clothes, the distribution of sizes was determined by using means and standard deviations for basic parts of each body type. Then, the most optimal sizes were selected separately for each body type to maximize the coverage rate.

  • While the impact or internet on our everyday life keeps increasing, the internet users are turning toward the value added information only that suits their purpose instead of just wandering over a sea (pool) or information. Although it is easy to locate the information using various search engines. we still finds it time and cost consuming to update the existing information or to add similar Information. There are several portal sites managed by each industrial types or associations/organizations for the purpose or strengthening the competitiveness or small and medium-sized enterprises And currently, tremendous manpower and expenses are put into the selection and quality improvement or information to satisfy the needs toward the high qualify information by the specialized users in their fields collection and updating or the information is partially available manually during He period or budget allocation by the government it becomes problematic, however, to continue this service when the project expires. This report presents the system for the information collection, analysis and classification of portal sites operated for the special purposes and automatic upload to the proper sites. In addition. expression or web robots and application of robots and several information types are suggested which will eventually accomplish currency or information and automatic updates and addition or documents with the least expenses or maintenance.

  • 임베디드 시스템은 일반적으로 자료의 보관을 위해 파일 시스템을 기본으로 탑재하고 있다. 이 파일 시스템은 최근 낮아진 가격과 높아진 성능으로 대부분 플래시메모리를 채택하고 있다. 플래시 메모리에 구현되는 파일 시스템의 종류는 임베디드 운영체제에 따라 다양하게 존재한다. 그런데 임베디드 시스템이 파일 시스템 의존도가 커질수록 이 파일 시스템 종류의 선택이 전체 시스템의 성능에 큰 영향을 미치게 된다. 이 논문에서는 임베디드 시스템의 파일 시스템의 선택과 구성에서 어떤 요소가 전체 시스템에 영향을 미치는지에 대한 고찰과 연구 결과에 대하여 논한다.

건조물 문화재 기록정보의 유형 구분 기준과 세부유형별 속성에 관한 기초 연구 (A Fundamental Study on the Classification Criteria and Properties by Detail Type of Archival Information on Architectural Heritage of Korea)

  • 본 논문은 건조물 문화재를 대상으로 생산되는 다양한 정보들이 그 속성을 토대로 관리될 수 있도록 기록정보의 유형을 구분하고 유형별 기본 속성을 확인하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 먼저, 건조물 문화재와 기록정보라는 용어의 구체적인 사용 현황을 법제도 중심으로 검토하였고, 본 논문에서 사용하는 용어의 개념을 구체적으로 정의하였다. 건조물 문화재는 문화재보호법의 기본 정의를 준용하여 '법적으로 지정된 유형문화재 중의 건조물'로 정의하였고, 건조물 문화재의 기록정보는 '문화재 보존·관리를 위하여 건조물 문화재의 실증적 현황을 전자적 방식으로 처리하여 표현한 모든 종류의 자료'로 정의하여 적용하였다. 다음으로 건조물 문화재 기록정보의 생산 현황을 법제도적 측면에서 검토하였다. 그 결과, 관련된 법제도가 위계적으로 구성되어 있는 점과 단일 사업에서 다양한 형태의 기록정보가 복합적으로 생산되고 있는 현황을 확인하였다. 나아가, 동일한 형태로 생산되는 기록정보일지라도 생산 목적과 방법에 따라 상이한 내용과 의미를 담고 있다는 점과 모든 기록정보를 포괄할 수 있는 분류가 부재하다는 점도 확인하였다. 마지막으로 기록정보 중 도면은 생산 목적 및 구체적 대상에 따라 세부유형이 구분되고 있는 것도 확인하였다. 이상의 검토 결과를 토대로, 본 논문에서는 기록정보의 형식과 속성을 일차적인 기준으로 적용하여, 건조물 문화재의 기록정보를 6개의 유형과 27개의 세부유형으로 구분하였다. 구체적으로는 기록정보의 언어적 형태, 차원, 시간적 속성, 그래픽 형식을 유형 구분을 위한 기준으로 적용하고, 유형별로 기록정보의 속성으로서 기록정보의 대상, 기록정보의 생산 목적, 기록정보의 생산 방식, 기록정보에 포함된 내용의 성격 및 구성 등을 종합적으로 검토하였다.

유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 영상개선 필터 시스템 구현 (Implementation of Image Enhancement Filter System Using Genetic Algorithm)

  • In this paper, genetic algorithm based adaptive image enhancement filtering scheme is proposed and Implemented on FPGA board. Conventional filtering methods require a priori noise information for image enhancement. In general, if a priori information of noise is not available, heuristic intuition or time consuming recursive calculations are required for image enhancement. Contrary to the conventional filtering methods, the proposed filter system can find optimal combination of filters as well as their sequent order and parameter values adaptively to unknown noise types using structured genetic algorithms. The proposed image enhancement filter system is mainly composed of two blocks. The first block consists of genetic algorithm part and fitness evaluation part. And the second block consists of four types of filters. The first block (genetic algorithms and fitness evaluation blocks) is implemented on host computer using C code, and the second block is implemented on re-configurabe FPGA board. For gray scale control, smoothing and deblurring, four types of filters(median filter, histogram equalization filter, local enhancement filter, and 2D FIR filter) are implemented on FPGA. For evaluation, three types of noises are used and experimental results show that the Proposed scheme can generate optimal set of filters adaptively without a pioi noise information.

체형별 신체밀착형 Basic Bodice Block 설계 및 3차원 가상착의평가 - 20대 전반 여성을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Development of Basic Bodice Block Pattern by Women's Body Type from 3D Virtual Clothing System - Focusing on Early 20's Women -)

  • The study is to provide basic data on improving costume's fitting by developing physical integrated Basic Bodice Block's development for body types of adult women, which is based on setting up body-type information per truncus as fundamental of adult women's top product manufacture in being ready for Mass Customization era. Also, after review on the objectivity and accuracy of fitting information by real wear and virtual wear experiment on body types, not only 3D virtual clothing system was used as way of information provider of Clothing product, but also provided as basic data in order to use effectively on portion of clothing passion in responding to trend of Mass customization in advance. The consequence of the study is as followings. After analyzing significance differences per items on real and virtual wear evaluation, bowed type of type 1 had significance differences on waist measurement and hip circumference in back and side, which would be knowing as not integrated with costume, affecting form of human body according to virtual wear system bended on back region. Also, in side evaluation, every types except straight body type of type 3 appeared significant differences. In virtual wear evaluation, costume's expression with side body types were not similar to real wear until now except straight body types. It would be improvement things from 3D virtual wear system in advance.

  • Attempts to achieve a higher productivity have led studies to focus on process improvement. Information has been found as an essential element for process improvement. This research has introduced and focused on two types of information, namely: related jobsite information along the process and feedback information. Related jobsite information along the process which needs to be processed and delivered in a timely manner, accurate, and real time is required to streamline the decision making process. Whereas feedback information about process' current practices which have to be captured and stored is a useful for continuous improvement in identifying the problem origin and determining corrective action. In the current practices, although these two types of information are essential for process improvement, construction process has faced barriers in obtaining that information. Therefore, this research will propose a new information system to overcome the aforementioned barriers. The new information system consists of RFID as an automatic identification and data collection device integrated with database to support construction processes. The new system attempts to provide related jobsite information along the process and feedback information to support decision making process and continuous process improvement respectively. A case study of prefabrication installation process in housing projects has been selected to be implemented in conceptual model of RFID application in construction industry. Conceptual model will be presented in this paper as an initial stage of this ongoing research. Expected outcomes of the new system and future works will be discussed briefly.

경상북도 지역 국민학교 공동관리 급식 실태 및 영양사 직무만족도 평가 (Evaluation of the Common-management Foodservice System of the Elementary Schools in Kyungbook Region)

  • This study is to seek methods for optimum management of foodservice system for elementary schools in Korea through surveying and analyzing the current status of the "common-management foodservice system" and certain important factors relating to its operations. For the survey of the current status of the "common-management foodservice system", questionnaires are prepared as against schools adopting "common-management system"("Common Schools") as well as schools adopting "conventional management system" ("Conventional Schools") in Kyungsangbookdo ("Kyungbook") area. The survey items are composed of general items, items concerning tasks of dietitians, items concerning purchasing activities and items concerning level of recognition and job-satisfaction of the dietitians. Total 46 dietitians from Common Schools and 65 dietitians from Conventional Schools in Kyungbook region responded the questionnaires. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Information Concerning Dietitians Average age of the dietitians: 26.6 yrs Ratio of two years or less of experiences as school dietitian: Dietitians from Common Schools: 59.1% Dietitians from Conventional Schools: 50.8% 2. Types of the Foodservice In both schools, rural type are prevalent; however, between urban types and islands types, the ratio of urban types are larger than the ratio of islands types in Conventional Schools, and the opposite is true in Common Schools. 3. Decision of Suppliers The ratio of dietitian's participaion in the decision making reaches only 38.3%, indicating the possibility of problems in quality control and hygienic aspects of the food supply. 4. Factor Analysis of the Foodservice Duties Food supply and general affairs administration work was carried out very well (4.2), while personnel management and operational improvement work (2.8), nutritional education work (2.3), and information related work were poorly carried out. No significant differences were found between the two types of the foodservice management systems. 5. Job Satisfaction scores of Dietitians Dietitians were more satisfied with the works (50.0), supervision (50.5) and co-workers (46.9) than pay (18.0) and promotion (22.3).
