As computer technology continues to evolve, the Computational Sciences utilized in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, and Life Sciences have been attracting more attention. In Korea, to compensate for the drawbacks in Computational Science, students and researchers have been using the EDISON platform. The EDISON platform provides a web portal service for education and research and an environment for addressing complex issues involving five fields, e.g., Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Nanophysics, Computational Chemistry, Structural Dynamics, and Computational Design. As the platform and user scale increase beyond service provision, the need for efficient operation of its currently running data management system is on the rise. In this study, we resolve the data synchronization issues between the existing EDISON platform and web portal. As the EDISON platform is integrated with the web portal, a file management service is implemented to integrate the management of user data and files, which ultimately improves the overall efficiency of file management.
This study is about the research of recognition for deinstitutionalization and independent living of the disabled living in residential facilities for the people of family. The survey was conducted in October to September 2018 and 810 cases were used in the final analysis. Along with an increase in marine activities every year, the frequency of marine accidents is on the rise. Accordingly, various research activities and policies for marine safety are being implemented. Despite these efforts, the number of accidents are increasing every year, bringing their effectiveness into question. Preliminary studies relying on annual statistical reports provide precautionary measures for items that stand out significantly, through the comparison of statistical provision items. Since the 2000s, large-scale marine accidents have repeatedly occurred, and case studies have examined the "accident response." Likewise, annual statistics or accident cases are used as core data in policy formulation for domestic maritime safety. However, they are just a summary of post-accident results. In this study, limitations of current marine research and policy are evaluated through a literature review of case studies and analyses of marine accidents. In addition, the ontology of the marine accident information classification system will be revised to improve the current limited usage of the information through an attribute analysis of boating accident status reports and text mining. These aspects consist of the reporter, the report method, the rescue organization, corrective measures, vulnerability of response, payloads, cause of oil spill, damage pattern, and the result of an accident response. These can be used consistently in the future as classified standard terms to collect and utilize information more efficiently. Moreover, the research proposes a data collection and quality assurance method for the practical use of ontology. A clear understanding of the problems presently faced in marine safety will allow "suf icient quality information" to be leveraged for the purpose of conducting various researches and realizing effective policies.

Tables and figures in academic literature contain important and valuable information. Tables and figures represent the essence of the refined study, which is the closest to the raw dataset. If so, can researchers easily access and utilize these image data through the search system? In this study, we try to identify user perceptions and needs for image data through user and case studies. Through this study we also explore expected effects and utilizations of image search systems. It was found that the majority of researchers prefer a system that combines table and figure indexing functions with traditional search functions. They valued the provision of an advanced search function that would allow them to limit their searches to specific object types (pictures and tables). Overall, researchers discovered many potential uses of the system for indexing tables and figures. It has been shown to be helpful in finding special types of information for teaching, presentation, research and learning. It should be also noticed that the usefulness of these systems is highest when features are integrated into existing systems, seamlessly link to fulltexts, and include high-quality images with full captions. Expected effects and utilizations for user-centered image search systems are also discussed.
The size of the domestic art market has increased 21.9% over the past five years as of 2018 to KRW 448.2 billion and the number of transactions has also increased 31.6% to 39,367 points maintaining growth for the fifth consecutive year. Art distribution platforms are diversifying from galleries and auction-style offline to online auctions. The art market consists of three areas: production (creation), distribution (trade), and consumption (buying) of works and as the perception of artistic value as well as economic value spreads interest is also increasing as a means of investment. Consumers who purchase works and think of them as a means of investment technology have an increased need for objective information about their works, but there is a limit to collecting and analyzing objective and reliable statistics because information provision in the art market distribution area is closed and unbalanced. This paper identifies objective and reliable art distribution status and status through big data collection and structured and unstructured data analysis on art market distribution areas. Through this, we want to implement a system that can objectively provide analysis of authors in the current market. This study collected author information from art distribution sites and calculated the frequency of associated words by writer by collecting and analyzing the author's articles from Maeil Business, a daily newspaper. It aims to provide consumers with objective and reliable information.

The purpose of this study is to develop an evaluation tool for map-based data visualization platforms and to conduct heuristic usability evaluations on existing platforms representing inter-regional information. We compared and analyzed the usability evaluation criteria of map-based platforms from the previous studies along with Nielsen's (1994) 10 usability evaluation principles. We proposed nine evaluation criteria, including (1) visibility, (2) representation of the real world, (3) consistency and standards, (4) user control and friendliness, (5) flexibility, (6) design, (7) compatibility, (8) error prevention and handling, and (9) help provision and documentation. Additionally, to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed criteria, four experts was invited to evaluate five domestic and international map-based data visualization platforms. As a result, the experts were able to rank the usability of the five platforms using the proposed map-based data visualization usability evaluation criteria, which included quantified scores and subjective opinions. The results of this study are expected to serve as foundational material for the future development and evaluation of map-based visualization platforms.

The advanced developing countries including Korea are assumed to have reached a developmental stage which necessitates them to formulate and implement a plan for a national information network. Most of the governments in the advanced developing countries are well aware of the necessity for such a plan and some of them have actually commenced their studies on the feasibility of a national network of their own hoping to achieve maximum utility of their limited information resources. Two urgent problems facing planners in the design of a national information network are identified. One is lack of an optimum organisational model to enable them to meet their own situations, and the other is lack of a guideline to help designers evaluate the alternative structures and models when they are available. In resolving these two problems, network planners in the advanced developing countries would benefit from the achievement of the objectives of the present study. The major objective is to elicit and describe common information needs, desires and value of the people using information, and other common factors which are responsible for the present information services in the advanced developing countries and which have implications for the basic structure of the national information network. The value of this study is to aid administrators in Korea and those in the other advanced developing countries who are responsible for making national policies and who are now beginning to recognise the need for information services with the planning of economic and social development so as to enable all the groups in the community to have access to the information which are essential for decision making, research work, studies and even for recreational reading. This recognition will hopefully give them a rational basis for formulating right policies on information services. The methodology utlised for collecting the required data in this study falls under the category of observation and largely consists of the two techniques: literature review and postal questionnaire. Background information on the individual advanced developing: countries was gathered from monographic and periodical literature. and country reports presented at the various international conferences were analysed for other relevant data. For most of the data needed for the present study, a questionnaire on 'Library and Information Services as They Are Available in the Selected Countries' was formulated. This questionnaire was designed to be completed without help, by an expert who was well informed of the library and information services in his or her country. The questionnaire was intended to look in details at what information services in the advanced developing countries were doing-whom they were serving, in what way, and how well and establish to what extent they were meeting the nation's information requirements. It was also intended to ascertain the respondents' ideas on possible future developments in information provision in their countries, that is, in the advanced devanced developing countries. The questionnaire was posted to a total of 63 natinal librarians, directors of national information centres and those of other major libraries or information centres in 21 selected countries. Complete usable responses were received from 34 persons in 14 countries. In order to identify common characteristics of the information needs and desires in the advanced developing countries and the present situation of the information services to meet them, and the requirements and constraints peculiar to those countries which bought to be considered in the design of a national information network for advanced developing countries, an individual report on the current status of information activities for each of the fourteen countries chosen for this study, was presented. The procedure used was to arrange the data acquired in the questionnaire responses and other sources, in the form of fifteen country reports to be summarised by cross-section characteristics later.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics and the current condition of musculoskeletal pain sufferers among fitness center users. The investigation used self-reporting questionnaire with the 797 subjects. On average, the subjects were 30.6 years old, 168.8 cm in height and 65.2 kg in weight. Among them, 423 were male (53.1%) and 374 were female (46.9%). Out of them, 276 suffered from pain, (35.2%). More men felt muscle aches than women (p<.05). In terms of pain, lower back area topped the list with 44.9%, followed by the lower extremities (30.1%), the neck (17.8%) and the upper part of the body (17.8%). Dieters suffered the most from pain (86.2%) while those exercising to build strength suffered the least with 26.8%. There was a significant relationship between the purpose for exercising and the amount of pain suffered (p<.05). By kind of exercise, pain stroke aerobic exercisers disproportionately with 42.4% while it almost steered clear of exercisers for strengthening with 26.9%. There was significant relationship between the kind of exercise and pain suffered (p<.05). The type of suffering differed by body shape. A significantly higher number of overweight people experienced pain than underweight people (p<.05). 32.8% of pain sufferers commented that the pain affects their workout, and on this issue there was no gender difference (p>.05). The pain caused more difficulties in doing activities of daily living for overweight or obese peoples than underweight peoples (p<.05). More than a third of health club and fitness center users are experiencing musculoskeletal pains. Measures such as professional training or information provision is required to prevent injury or disorder caused by improper exercise.
In a wireless sensor network environment, it is required to ensure anonymity by keeping sensor nodes' identifiers not being revealed and to support real-time authentication, lightweight authentication and synchronization. In particular, there exist possibilities of location information leakage by others, privacy interference and security vulnerability when it comes to wireless telecommunications. Anonymity has been an importance issue in wired and wireless network environment, so that it has been studied in wide range. The sensor nodes are interconnected among them based on wireless network. In terms of the sensor node, the researchers have been emphasizing on its calculating performance limit, storage device limit, and smaller power source. To improve of biometric-based D. He scheme, this study proposes a real-time authentication protocol using Unique Random Sequence Code(URSC) and variable identifier for enhancing network performance and retaining anonymity provision.

In this paper we explain the definition and component of electronic records, and reestablish the principle of the preservation. Also we discuss the conceptual approaches and requirements for long-term preservation in an electronic environment. The preservation in digital environment is to protect itself of record identity with the reliability and authenticity, and to ensure the accessibility of records. It needs to be periodical migration along with digital environment change for the long-term preservation of the electronic records. and to select software independent standard format. to ensure the integrity of electronic records along with this preservation strategy, process and relative information required for digital preservation are to record in the form of metadata. The preservation system is separated into four functional entities ; registration process, preservation process, access process, main record management system. Also, this article is conceptually to introduce the selection criteria of storage media, the security provision for the archive collections and the disaster recovery which apply to the digital archives.
