Increasing affectability of high-speed Internet and convenient access devices has made the Internet a major source of information search and sharing. As the provision of information has rapidly becomes an important and viable business model, the objective utility and marketability of information contents have become a focus of interest among many academicians and managers. Researchers have traditionally focused on the design of the interface, availability of resources, network accessibility, the format of web sites and their underlying systems. However, the usefulness of contents has been left as a little explored issue. To correctly diagnose and pursue the viability of contents provision business a shift of perspective is required : a shift from technology-oriented perspective toward user-oriented perspective, and a shift from form and design focus toward content focus. This research attempted to analyze consumer-oriented information quality in a more systematic way by focusing on a limited domain travel-related information contents. We proposed a relationship among consumers'behavior, characteristics of information, and the values of information measured by users. An empirical examination of the model was performed using a survey on Internet users in Korea. Implications are drawn for managers responsible for creating marketable contents.

본 연구는 수술 전 정보제공이 학령전기 편도선절제술 환아 어머니의 불안, 불확실성 및 수술 후 간호만족도에 미치는 효과를 파악하기 위한 비동등성 대조군 전후 실험연구이다. 자료수집은 S종합병원에서 편도절제술을 받은 학령전기 환아의 어머니로 실험군 19명, 대조군 20명을 대상으로 하였다. 실험군에게는 수술에 따른 통상적 교육과 함께 소책자를 이용하여 연구자와 연구 보조원이 직접 간호사실에서 1:1 개별로 평균 20분 정도 정보제공을 하였으며 대조군에게는 통상적 교육만 실시하였다. 자료분석은 빈도와 백분율, ${\chi}^2$-test, Fisher's exact test, Mann-Whitney U-test를 이용하였다. 수술 전 정보제공은 대조군과 실험군의 불안(U=104.5, p=.015), 불확실성(U=83.5, p=.002)에 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 수술 후 간호 만족도(U=109.5, p=.022)에도 유의하였다. 본 연구결과를 통하여 수술 전 정보제공은 학령전기 편도선절제술 환아 어머니의 불안, 불확실성 및 수술 후 간호만족도에 긍정적 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 추후 반복연구와 다양한 교육방법을 통한 정보제공의 효과검증이 필요할 것이다.

Public libraries provide information to all persons and its users are the inhabitants of the community it serves. This may not be the reality in some cases as some category of persons may not be properly served by the public library. This study assesses the provision of information materials in alternative format, in terms of its availability, access and level of use by the visually impaired in public libraries in southwestern Nigeria. The study adopted survey research design. Four (4) public libraries in four states were purposively selected because they are the ones that provide alternative format for the use of a sizable number of the visually impaired. Complete enumeration was used to capture all the 166 registered users of the libraries through the use of observations checklist and interview schedule. Data from 69.2% of the 166 visually impaired persons that were interviewed, and the observations made were analyzed. The result reveals that alternative formats availability were inadequate and, e-resources were not available while access to formats and information desired by the users were limited. Braille is the most utilized format; audio materials and large prints were seldom used. The demand for alternative formats is high but it is not related to level of use of materials. Provision of information materials in alternative formats for the visually impaired in public libraries cannot support the needs of the visually impaired; it requires intervention from all stakeholders. The study recommends improved investment and funding for public libraries and services to persons with disabilities.

Purpose: This study was to investigate the effects of the provision of concrete information about patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) in hysterectomy patients. Methods: Study design was a nonequivalent control group non-synchronized pre- and post-test design. Sixty subjects participated were assigned to experimental group (30 patients) or control group (30 patients) at one university hospital. Concrete information about PCA was composed of three sections: explanation with a leaflet, practice of using PCA, and question and answer session. Results: The experimental group who received concrete information about PCA before surgery had statistically higher knowledge level about PCA, more positive attitude toward pain control analgesia, a lower pain score, and a higher satisfaction level of the use of PCA post-surgery compared to the control group who received general information before surgery. Conclusion: Provision of concrete information about PCA was an effective nursing intervention that reduced post-operative pain for patients and increased their satisfaction with using PCA. It is recommended that concrete information about PCA be provided by nurses to promote the use of PCA and consequently reduce patient's pain post-surgery.

본 연구는 SNS 마케팅을 활용하여 우리의 일상과 밀접한 관련이 있는 소상공인들의 마케팅 활용 방안 모색에 도움을 제공하기 위한 목적으로 수행하였다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 연구는 SNS 사용자를 대상으로 설문조사를 통한 다양한 통계분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, SNS의 특징인 정보제공성, 상호작용성, 편익성 모두 구매의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 그 영향력의 크기도 편익성, 정보제공성, 상호작용성 순으로 나타나, 편익성이 구매의도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 볼 때, 소비자와의 의사소통과 유용한 정보 제공은 소상공인을 위한 SNS 마케팅의 필수 요소이고, 이들이 SNS에 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 혜택에 초점을 맞추면 구매의도를 높일 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 구매실행으로 이어질 수 있는 전략적 방안 수립이 가능할 것이다라는 시사점을 발견할 수 있었다.

As Internet usage widely grows, online content services such as newspaper, magazine, music, game and movie are provided with a fee-based subscription. Many content services providers consider charging a usage fee into its service provisions as one of the Internet business models for increasing revenue. There are customer resistances to adopting the fee-based service provision on the Web. Previous research in information systems (IS)has focused on the analysis of adoption of information technology or systems in the individual ororganization level. No principle research has been carried out on the user adoption behavior of online content services provisions. As users actively access content services on the Web, it needs to explore user adoption behavior in different settings. Many IS researcher have employedquantitative approaches, even though they deal with the process of user behavior regarding the information technology or system. In this study, we attempt to discover how customers adopt the fee-based provision of online content services by employing grounded theory, one of the principal qualitative research methods.

Reforming social relations requires changing the system of relations between state executive bodies, institutions subordinate to them and a citizen, which is characteristic for most of the country, in which the latter is a petitioner even if his indisputable rights and legitimate interests are satisfied. One of the most important areas of public administration reform is the formation and development of a system of administrative services and appropriate information support. The result of the implementation of this direction should be the creation of such a legal framework and its real implementation in administrative and legal practice, in which consumers of administrative services will have broad rights and powers and will not be passive subjects manipulated by civil servants.Thus, the main task of the study is to analyze the normative legal aspects of information support for the provision of administrative services in the field of public administration. As a result of the study, the main aspects of normative legal aspects of information support for the provision of administrative services in the field of public administration were investigated.

The evolution of EDI has opened the flexible and efficient way for business to conduct a greater portion of the routine buyer-seller business activities online. This study focuses on the role of factors that change the innovation characteristics for implementation success of EDI. Three factors promotional efforts, proactive implementation strategy, and provision of technical expertise are proposed to affect EDI implementation success, as these factors directly influence three general and most important attributes of innovation relative advantage, compatibility, and complexity respectively. Hypotheses indicate that promotional efforts, proactive implementation strategy, and provision of technical expertise directly affect EDI implementation success that is represented by three variables volume, depth, and diversity. A structural equation modeling approach(LISREL) is used to analyze data from EDI adopters. The results show that proactive implementation strategy and provision of technical expertise positively affect implementation success of EDI. Given the significant impact of the wide spread use of the EDI system, this study offers quite useful insights on the factors facilitating innovation characteristics under which EDI can be successfully diffused in organizations.

본 연구의 주요 목표는 정보기술보안(IT security) 관련 투자의 경제적 특성을 조사하고 기업 내 최적의 정보기술보안 자원의 제공을 위한 대체적인 메커니즘을 비교하는데 있다. 정보기술 보안의 최적 수준과 기업 내 다양한 사용자 간의 비용분담 방식에 대한 중요한 의사결정에 유용한 지침을 제공하는 경제적인 연구는 많지 않다. 이에 대한 기초연구로서, 본 연구는 첫째, 정보기술 보안 자원이 소비의 비경합성(nonrivalry)과 혜택의 비배재성(nonexcludability)이라는 순수공공재(pure public goods)의 특성을 공유하고 있다는 것을 설명한다. 또한, 정보기술보안 제공은 개인사용자의 정보보안자원의 가치평가에 있어서 정보 비대칭성의 문제를 갖고 있다. 분석적인 틀을 통하여, 본 연구는 개별적인 효용극대화 방식은 기업 전체에서의 효율적인 제공 조건을 반드시 충족하는 것은 아니라는 것을 보여준다. 즉, 개별적인 방식은 비최적(suboptimal)의 방안, 특히 정보기술보안 자원이 부족한 수준에서 제공되는 결과를 초래한다. 이러한 문제는 무임승차(free-riding) 문제로도 알려져 있는 순수공공재의 비배재성이라는 특성에 주로 기인한다. 집단적인 의사결정의 근본적인 문제는 진실한 정보의 표출을 유도하고 정보비칭적인 구조에서 최적수준의 정보자원보안 관련 재화를 선택하는 메커니즘의 설계에 있다. 본 연구는 정보기술보안 자원의 제공이라는 문제 안에서 세 가지 대체적인 수요현시메커니즘(demand-revealing mechanisms), 즉 클락-그로브즈 메커니즘(Clarke-Groves mechanism), 기대효용 극대와 메커니즘(expected utility maximizing mechanism), 그로브즈-레야드 메커니즘(Groves-Ledyard mechanism)을 비교 분석한다 이 메커니즘들의 주요 특성이 각 메커니즘의 장점, 단점, 실제 다양한 적용가능성과 함께 논의된다. 마지막으로, 본 연구의 한계와 미래 연구 방향이 논의된다.

Along with the evolution of wireless internet environment, information services in mobile internet are being explosively increased. However, due to the high expense for the use of those services, it is not easy to collect the devoted customers. In order to overcome the adverse conditions, the service should be supported by a strategic application system which facilitates easier and fast service for customer's information needs than that of traditional on-line internet. In this paper, we investigate the strategy how to provide the information service under the customer satisfaction, and also consider some ways of personalization of information service and information provision in real-time. As a result of the works, we develop a system, MoSA-CRM(Mobile Service Application based on CRM) to support customer-oriented information service. We believe that the MoSA-CRM system can provide some benefits for information providers in mobile e-commerce market such as flexibility in business strategy, systematic customer relationship management, and growth in financial ability.
