Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe the experience of hospice nurses on spiritual care. Methods: Data was collected from 9 hospice nurses by using in-depth interview. The main questions include what they understand as spiritual care, when they feel the needs of spiritual care, how they perform spiritual care, and what is the outcome of spiritual care. The data was analyzed by grounded theory methodology developed by Strauss and Corbin. Results: The core category of experience of hospice nurses on spiritual care was identified as "Untie a knot of mind". In the process of spiritual care in hospice nurses was consisted of soothing, dwelling with, releasing, giving meaning, plunging, and going beyond a life. Conclusion: The result of this study was expected to give useful information to nurses and nursing managers about the real situation of performance of spiritual care. The findings of this study contributes to developing programs and supportive policies for encouraging spiritual care.

Rapid integration of information technology into health care systems has included the use of highly portable systems-in particular, personal digital assistants (PDAs). With their large built-in memories, fast processors, wireless connectivity, multimedia capacity, and large library of applications, PDAs have been widely adopted by physicians and nurses for patient tracking, disease management, medical references and drug information, enhancing quality of health care. Many health-related PDA applications are available to both dietetics professionals and clients. Dietetics professionals can effectively use PDAs for client tracking and support, accessing to hospital database or information, and providing better self-monitoring tools to clients. Internship programs for dietetics professionals should include training in the use of PDAs and their dietetics applications, so that new practitioners can stay abreast of this rapidly evolving technology. Several considerations to keep in mind in selecting a PDA and its applications are discussed.

This study attempts to show the reasons why the academic field, which has been called 'Library and Information Science', should change its paradigm for both research and practice. To this end, this study investigates the essence of the current academic crisis, which is seriously threatening the survival of the LIS as an independent academic field in South Korea. In details, this study discusses the identity problem of the LIS, the poverty in scholarship, the low self-esteem of the profession, etc. Also investigated are the reasons why the profession, which includes both scholars and practitioners, is facing with such a crisis. This study emphasizes that both researchers and practitioners in the LIS field should keep their eyes on the ongojng information revolution, and that in order to thrive as well as to survive from the midst of such an academic crisis they should notice and understand the essence of the revolution. The conclusion of this study includes the philosophies and strategies for survival, which the profession should keep in mind and follow in a hurry.

마음과 기계의 관계에 대한 $G{\ddot{o}}del's$의 선언결론(disjunctive conclusion)은 마음과 정보처리형식체계의 논리적 동치성을 함의하고 있다. 그리고 $G{\ddot{o}}del's$의 불완전성 정리(Incompleteness Theorems)에 따르면 마음과 정보처리형식체계의 논리적 동치성은 무모순이며, 동치성 반증의 이론은 그 모델을 가질 수 없다.

This paper deals with design processing for TEDA-footbridge in Tianjin, China. The pedestrian cross over TEDA(Technology and Economy Development Area)-street as main street bridging both different areas in Tianjin. For resonable beautiful footbridge it need to technical mind and art. 'Science, not intuition, the tool of creativity' Starting with structure planning it need to cooperate both engineering and architect. We must solve a gaps between technology and art for structural design.

Communication using a language sometimes leads to the partner's misconception, as the content that a language can describe is not sufficient enough to accurately transmit one's idea in his mind. In order to supplement this difficulty, introduction of idea of imagery to link with verbal information applying the notion of prototype which is learned through experiencing and is a part of the idea of experience sequence to deal with experiencing.

It is expected that transportation sector will develope to a systematic and multi-disciplinary way in which transportation, information and electronic technologies are harmonized. This will be the way that the 21st century demand. To be prepared for such development, sharing of information from different sources through a integrated approach is essential. Also an active role of specialized staff are required to achieve a integrated control and management. The specialized staff should do his best for his task with appropriate specialty, a sense of responsibility, a progressive mind and a vision. He also make much effort to enhance and keep up-to-date his specialty. Then we can modestly look forward to a specialized Information society in the 21s1 century.

After reading a document, people construct a concept about the information they consumed and merge multiple words to set up keywords that represent the material. With that in mind, this study suggests a smarter and more efficient keyword extraction method wherein scholarly journals are used as the basis for the establishment of production rules based on a concept information of words appearing in a document in a way in which author-provided keywords are functional although they do not appear in the body of the document. This study presents a new way to determine the importance of each keyword, excluding non-relevant keywords. To identify the validity of extracted keywords, titles and abstracts of journals about natural language and auditory language were collected for analysis. The comparison of author-provided keywords with the keyword results of the developed system showed that the developed system was highly useful, with an accuracy rate as good as up to 96%.

The purpose of this study is to examine the current status of Quick Response adoption, and to recognize the implementation problems of QR system in the Korean fashion industry. We reviewed the theoretical background of QR system, analyzed the current status of QR adoption, and identified critical issues to implement the system in our fashion business environment. Previous literatures and information gained from communication service organizations were used for this study The major problems recognized are lack of inter-organizational information network, closed supply channels, non-standardization of QR implementation, and low level of information technology usage including KAN, POS, and EDI. Strong mutual partnership between streams for shared common goals and clear QR mind setting of top management with commitment to information sharing are considered needed for the successful adoption of QR system in domestic fashion industry.

국가정보정책은, 변화를 예상하고 그러한 변화를 자신에게 유리하게 전환시킬 수 있어야하고, 종래의 방법이 더 이상 적합치 않을 때는 폐기시킬 수 있어야 하며, 또한 새로운 방법이 나타나면 그것을 실험할 수 있도록 하기 위하여, 융통성을 가져야 한다. 이러한 융통성은 정책 결정 차원에서의‘정신적 활기’와‘기업가정신’을 의미하는데, 이 두가지 자질은 다른 국가정책을 위해서도 마땅히 필요하지만 부족한 경우가 일반적이다.
