본 연구는 정보활용교육 분야의 연구주제들을 파악하여 정보활용교육에 제안할 수 있는 요소들이 있는지를 살펴보는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 우선, 정보활용교육과 관련된 문헌정보학 분야의 논문 97편을 대상으로 토픽모델링을 적용하여 '미디어 리터러시', '정보활용교육의 교수학습방법', '정보원 이용 및 판단' 등의 주요 주제를 파악하였다. 분석 결과를 바탕으로, 교육내용 측면에서는 Big 6 정보모형, 교육방법과 관련해서는 미국 사서교사협회의 정보활용 능력기준과 미국 대학 및 연구도서관협회의 정보활용교육 개발지침을 고려하여 정보활용교육 교육내용을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 정보활용교육 전반의 연구주제와 연관된 교육 요소들을 파악하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 '정보원 이용 및 판단', '정보윤리'와 관련된 교육내용을 보다 강조하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

The use of a practice perspective in the analysis of information literacy represents a shift in attention towards the enactment of information literacy as a social practice, and away from the information skills approach that has dominated information literacy research and education. The sociocultural perspective that underpins a practice-oriented approach highlights the role of practice and co-participation of the community in shaping the production, reproduction and circulation of knowledge, including knowledge about the appropriateness of information skills in relation to the context in which the skills are practised. This emerging view contrasts with the conventional approach to information literacy that has focused on the information skills of individuals as something that can be learned and transferred independently of context. This paper explores two questions: what is information literacy and, how does it happen? It then goes on to identify the implications of this approach for librarians and researchers.

정보 리터러시는 다양한 유형의 리터러시들과 관련되며, 디지털 기반의 정보사회에서 개인이 갖추어야 하는 필수적인 역량으로 정의된다. 이 실태조사는 대학생들의 정보 리터러시 수준을 평가하는 것을 목적으로 하는 기초연구이다. 평가를 위하여. 5가지 수행과정 영역과 12가지 수행능력 영역으로 구성되는 적절한 정보 리터러시 모형을 개발하였다. 조사결과는 다음과 같다: 1) 학생들은 '결과평가' 수행과정 요소는 다른 수행과정 요소보다 높은 수준의 역량을 나타내었다. 2) 5가지 수행과정 요소들과 12가지 수행능력 요소들 대부분은 높은 상관관계를 나타내었다. 3) 학년, 정보검색 첫 경험시기, 관련된 교육 경험에 따라 개인의 정보 리터러시 수준의 차이를 나타내 보였다.

Purpose: To define the concept of digital health literacy and identify its attributes. Methods: Walker and Avant's approach was employed for concept analysis. Attributes, antecedents, consequences, and the definition of digital health literacy were derived from a review of 28 studies. Results: Digital health literacy was identified to possess the following five attributes: health information seeking, health information processing, health information communication, health-related knowledge translation, and utilizing digital technology. Basic literacy skills, health concerns, motivation to use technology for health information, and access to digital technologies were all antecedents of the concept. The consequences of the concept were health behaviors, patient engagement, health status, and quality of life. Digital health literacy is the ability to seek relevant health information utilizing digital technology to solve health problems and improve quality of life. Furthermore, it refers to the translation of health-related knowledge obtained through health information processing-finding, understanding, and evaluating health information and health information communication-into the context in which individual and social factors interact. Conclusion: This study presented a new definition of digital health literacy that goes beyond existing internet-based eHealth literacy, by incorporating the context of emerging digital technologies. This proposed definition can serve as a foundation for the development of instruments and educational programs to improve individuals' digital health literacy.

본 연구는 정보활용 교육의 일환으로 대학에서 실행되고 있는 교육 프로그램이 정보활용능력에 대한 자가인식과 도서관에 대한 인식 변화에 어떤 영향을 주었는지를 조사 분석한 것이다. 본 연구의 목적을 수행하기 위해 D 대학의 한 학기 교양과목으로 개설되고 있는 정보활용 교육 프로그램을 대상으로 해당과목 수강생 47명의 정보활용능력에 대한 자가 인식과 도서관에 대한 인식을 교육전과 교육후의 질문지법을 통해 조사하였다. 정보활용능력에 대한 자가 인식을 측정하기 위한 문항들은 ACRL의 고등 교육자를 위한 정보활용능력 평가기준을 참조하였고 사용된 분석도구는 Excel과 SPSS 17.0이다.

본 연구의 목적은 고등교육에서 정보리터러시 기준의 변화와 동향을 미국과 영국의 경험에서 먼저 살펴보고, 영국 SCONUL이 1999년에 처음 발표한 기준과 2011년에 수정 발표한 기준의 개요를 파악한 후, 2011년 SCONUL이 발표한 두 개의 기준, 즉 핵심모델과 연구렌즈의 내용을 직접 비교 분석해 보는데 있다. 본 연구는 문헌연구과 내용분석법(content analysis)을 통해 진행되었고, 위의 전 과정들을 통해 영국 SCONUL의 정보리터러시 기준이 암시하는 시사점을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 앞으로 우리나라의 유관기관이 고등교육에서의 정보리터러시 기준을 고려할 때 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

In today's information-rich society, the need for information literacy has urgency. Three tasks of information processing are filtering, meaning-matching, meaning-construction that could be strengthened through inquiry-based learning. The cycles of reflection and practice develop the habit of mind, or conscious information processing that allow the learners to acquire higher level of information literacy. An on-line inquiry-based learning environment designed for information literacy may help learners to perform their lifelong learning better with the ability to appreciate, locate, evaluate, and use information effectively.

이 연구에서는 학교도서관이 교육과정과 연계한 정보문해 서비스를 제공하기 위한 장애요인과 해결 방안을 탐색해 보았다. 장애요인으로는 정보문해를 ICT 활용능력으로 잘못 이해하고 있다는 점, 그리고 장서, 도서관 전담인력 등의 미비 등을 들었다. 정보문해에서 문헌정보의 중요성, 온라인을 이용한 도서관 이용지도, 정보문해 수업을 위한 Big6 문제해결 모형 및 교수-학습 과정안, 수업의 실천과정에서 필요한 서식 등을 제시하였다.

이 연구는 고등학생의 정보활용능력 평가를 위한 루브릭과 평가지 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 관련 문헌을 조사하여 평가 도구 개발의 이론과 과정을 고찰하였고, 대학 단위, 지역 전문대학 단위, 주정부 단위, 고등학교 학군 단위에서 개발한 미국의 평가 도구를 분석하여 우리 고등학생의 정보활용 능력 평가 도구를 제시하였다.

급변하는 정보사회를 살고 있는 개인들의 독립적인 평생학습(lifelong learning)의 필요성 대두에 따라 평생학습을 가능케 하는 주요한 자질로서 정보활용능력(information literacy)의 중요성이 널리 인식되고 있다. 몇몇 국가에서는 국가적 차원의 정보활용능력 기준을 제정하고 교과과정에 정보활용능력의 증진을 위한 프로그램을 도입하고 있다. 우리나라에서도 정보활용능력의 중요성을 인식하여 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있으며, 정규 교과과정의 개설도 확대되고 있는 상황이다. 본 고에서는 정보활용능력 관련 교과 수강생들의 자기효능감(self-efficiency) 평가결과를 기반으로 관련 교과의 교수효과를 확인하고, 교과설계 시 반영할 수 있는 시사점을 도출해 보고자 하였다. 연구결과로 교과과정이 수강생들의 정보활용능력 증진에 도움이 됨을 확인할 수 있었으며, 자기효능감 평가를 기반으로 교과과정 설계 시 반영할 수 있는 시사점들을 제시하였다.
